I am new to the Brilliant Pool Service system and I am very impressed!!! Last week I signed on and Austin came out and cleaned the pool and we went over a couple of existing issues. The pump had failed two weeks prior, and my replacement was still out on a scenic tour of Route 66. Austin notified the scheduling dept of the en route pump and they were ready to install it when it arrived. The pump arrived at 7pm last night and by 7 am today, Raymond had it installed, he replaced the water leveler and within 30 minutes the pool was up and running. Thank you Raymond !!! And Thank you Austin!!! My pool is looking good once again. So incredibly glad that I called. Two weeks into my contract and my pool has received professional care. Do I recommend Brilliant Pools???? Now the owner is accusing me of lying. Here are the facts: I have attached pictures from my weekly pool report below, showing no damage to the top step through the month of May, and damage appearing June 5 and June 12 because the tech damaged the pool while we were out of town. This is not "pitted" that you alerted me of before you started working on my pool. Also you didn't tell me about the pump, I told you about it, because your tech literally left the lid off of it last week, causing it to overheat. The issues with the vacuum are wholly unrelated to the damaged pump that I posted a video of. You did $500 of damage to my pump. I have attached a screenshot of my text exchange with Barry when he reached out after my phone call. It's dated September 27th. I understand my pool equipment isn't all in great shape. I understand that things break. However, these two items were directly caused by your tech being aggressive with the plaster surface, and failing to seal the system properly. I've talked to the techs directly when I need something redone that looks like it needs to be revisited and they have. I also needed some repairs on my pump and when I told them I couldn't afford it upfront they worked with me and gave me payment options. read more

The tech that's been cleaning and maintaining my pool has regularly shirked on some duties. I've emailed the company several times, and they are quick to respond and had the tech return to remedy the situation. But it's poor tech service that I'm concerned about. I may be searching for a different company. The company responded with a remedy going forward. I hope for better service in the future. Beware of your pool getting worse every week. These are the issues I had. They will recommend your pool getting drained if its green right off the back. They will take weekly pictures and send it out but won't ever address issues if it's green or something isn't working. Look else where.... The manager also was dismissive and disrespectful when I made a complaint about the lack of good service. He also refused to take my calls or call me back after the one time that he actually returned my call. Horrible customer service. They're accounting is awful! They said I owed them for a month and I paid them. Thus I ended the service. Secondly, they agreed to vacuum the pool every two weeks and there was a period where it was t vacuumed in nearly three months. I had to constantly remind them. Replaced all of my pool equipment just over three years ago and the motor(pentair) began to malfunction. I contacted Them to get help and was told my warranty was expired by one month. I asked if they could help and was told I'm on my own and to contact pentair and handle it on my own. I contacted another company and they are dealing with pentair directly on my behalf. Head office staff are responsive but pool technicians are poorly trained and you need to tell them every couple of weeks where the key to the gate is located even though it's been in the same place the whole time. Don't notice when the Polaris pool cleaner is not working and finally they turned my pool completely green and when they couldn't get it back to a swimmable state they advised that they would no longer service my pool on the spot with no notice. Unfortunately for me, I've been stuck with this sorry ass pool company because of our rental agency choosing them for service. This company is a joke. Sent a rookie pool tech to "clean" our DE pool filter and he dropped it taking it apart and couldn't even figure out how to put it back together. Now a WEEK later and they still haven't even sent anyone back or given a return phone call explaining it. I've called and asked 3 times now when they're going to fix it and they can't even answer. Left our pool filter torn apart all over the back yard and didn't even clean up the mess from cleaning the pool filter. And now the pool is filthy again. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! I'm writing to explain my true experience with this company. They have been contracted through Task Easy with my rental company for quite some time. Here is a little back story on their services. Back in July - During the hottest times of the year, my pool was having issues of not properly being cleaned by one of their guys. This was happening for at least a month at this point. I was relaying the information to my rental company, going to them, pictures were being exchanged showing "it's clean" based off the ray of sunshine blocking the true colors of the pool along with dirt being at the bottom of the pool. Mind you, a month later, I'm still reporting these issues, they are fighting with my rental company the job is being done and no issues. Continued to fight with both of them about how the pool is still dirty, the pump is not being turned on to clean the bottom (i've been a pool owner all my life so I see what's wrong with it) - Finally, my rental company stops the services for 3 weeks. Finally, they start them again, same issues. Pool is still dirty, this is in September. Miguel starts sending me messages when they are coming out, which is great because now I know when they are scheduled to come. Now here we are, 3 months later, my pool is still dirty to have them tell me the issue has been fixed with the pool pump, but now I need to make sure to hit up my rental company. As all of these issues are not completely their fault. They are now stating it's our responsibility to get the information relayed as they are not properly telling my rental company along with calling me as I've had notes on my file DIRECTLY WITH THEM asking to be contacted because their portals are not clashing correctly. Overall, it's a blame game for them. First their tech was not doing it up to their standards to replace them and this continue to happen but NO ONE ever knows what the issue is. Take this company with a grain of salt because once their is an issue, it's going to take LOTS of proof for them to accept responsibility rather than getting the issue solved at hand. read more
