We remodeled our backyard with Barefoot pools and are happy with the decision. Our pebble tech pool was due for a re-surface and the cool decking was really showing its age. We got travertine tile all around our pool and patio with a new pool surface / tiles / the works. It was a really big investment so I spent a lot of time getting quotes, and I'm glad we went with these guys. I appreciated their showroom to look at tile combinations in person, and they gave us a competitive quote and made us feel like they really cared about our project. I could tell scheduling with them that they get a lot of business and juggle a lot of projects but never felt like we were being ignored or were not a priority. Probably why they get a lot of business. The workmanship, particularly on the travertine patio tiles was outstanding. We are so happy with it. They also did a great job of taking care of the little problems that tend to pop up after this type of project (or didn't pop-up, as it were- - - re: our popup cleaning system). They didn't bail on us until we were satisfied and came back multiple times to ensure we were working at 100%. One example; we have a fairly old spa attached to our pool and the system of jets it has is not made anymore and is apparently kind of rare. When it didn't work correctly after filling the pool, Shawn from Barefoot got a representative from the spa jet manufacturer to come to our house with him to troubleshoot and get it working properly. Could not be happier with how our pool resurfacing turned out. Our pool was painted white when we bought the house and the paint was coming off, so we had Barefoot Pools come in to resurface with pebble tech and it looks like a brand new pool! First, pool guy didn't bother to fully tighten the tension bolt that on the filter housing after cleaning them. We've been so confused as to why the pool looks so terrible full of leaves and nothing in the baskets. I finally got a day off and figured out why. No seal, no suction, no water movement = NO CLEANING! The tank pressure gauge was reading low so I turned the pressure relief valve. This resulted in the world's saddest psssss and no water when it normally sprays like a fire hose. Second, they were supposed to return and setup a pool service agreement but nobody ever came back. No calls, no follow up! They charged us $300 for nothing! Who knows if he even cleaned the filters! I don't have time to take it apart since it's Christmas!!! read more

Barefoot Pools redid our pool in early 2022. They did a great job preparing the pool, plastering it, installing a new filter, and a salt cell chlorine generator. However, the chlorine generator system has been a problem. The salt cell began leaking a steady stream of water. I told Barefoot and it took several weeks to get a replacement cell. Shortly afterwards that cell began leaking and was replaced with a new cell. This replacement cell now leaks. This system is unreliable and should be replaced. I am concerned that they will not do that and simply replace cells until the warranty expires. At that point I will have to pay to have a reliable system installed. This is an unpleasant experience and is why I gave them two stars instead of five. read more

Um, Wow!! My husband and I were honestly surprised at the timeliness and quality of our pool repair and resurfacing job done by Barefoot Pools this past month. The pleasantly surprising aspect of the entire project was the stellar communication from Shawn throughout the entire process. We thought that great customer service was a thing of the past since it's virtually impossible to even receive a call back from service companies these days, much less finding a service company that a) provides a detailed timeline of the project so we would know what and when to expect each step of the process and b) consistent calls the day before each visit to let us know that members of the team would be on-site the next day. Shocking....who does that any more??? Barefoot Pools!! Our pool was built in 1996 and had reached a point where cracks were expanding across our pool walls and across the bottom of the pool. Sections of the pebbletec had worn down and the whole pool was looking old. We bit the bullet and decided to have it completely repaired and redone. Shawn and his team helped us choose the border tiles, the top tiles, the color of the pebbletec, and the color of the step and ledge markers (which really pop and reflect sunlight!) We're not known for writing reviews, especially positive ones, but given the exceptional customer service and high quality of the results by the Barefoot Pools team, we really wanted to share such a positive experience with valley folks looking to repair and resurface their older pools. We honestly can't stay away from our pool now, even thought it's too cold to get in it. We keep looking at each other and talk about how it looks like a resort pool. Woot, woot! The attached pics don't do it justice but they at least give you a glimpse of how gorgeous our pool is now. We feel truly lucky to have chosen Barefoot Pools for this big project and highly recommend them to anyone hoping for a reasonably priced, gorgeous pool 'upgrade' with the comfort of exceptional customer service. Pool remodel looks great! Had steps lengthened and added another step on opposite end of pool along with a Baja shelf. Schedule was kept pretty much to a "T", and our project manager Shawn communicate everything that would take place. He also replied to my texts in the early evenings with any questions I had. At the end he went over how to maintain the water in detail until their weekly pool service starts to take place. Barefoot Pools had many selections to choose from as far as the finishes and tiles.
