I'm glad I chose them! It turned out the problem was simply a handle I didn't realize needed to be turned to allow proper water flow through the pipes. Although I was a little frustrated that I hadn't known this sooner, the technician was great. Az Leak Pros has been out to my home and my parents home for different pool concerns and have addressed each one of the issues in a timely manner. From friendly scheduling with Bianca to the exceptional service by Daniel and his team, I am confident that my pool is always operating how it should. My first experience with AZ Leak Pros was that they located a complicated leak under many other pipes and repaired it in the same day. As they repaired one pipe another leak showed so they repaired that one as well until all plumbing was 100 percent solid and leak proof. They did the job from start to finish and worked until the sun went down to make sure it was entirely completed. Then, I most recently wanted to add a feature to my pool and Daniel was the only one that understood what I wanted to do. He simplified the existing plumbing so that the pool is operating better than before. Not only is it operating efficiently and leak free but now I am able to turn on a water feature with just one touch of my app on the phone. I have also been needing to replace the valve for the aerator as it stopped working years ago so I figured this was the time to call the pros. I am glad I called AZ Leak Pros! From the moment I contacted to the day after all repairs were completed they have been nothing but professional, knowledgeable, honest and dependable. Bianca runs the show and answered all of my questions beforehand . She was able to schedule a same day visit and then was patient with me as I had come down with Covid and was out of commission for a couple of weeks. Once we set up the repair date it was smooth sailing! Our techs were Jesse and Brandon. Brandon did the initial pressure test and spent a couple of hours going through each part of the pool and its equipment. He explained thoroughly what he had discovered and the cause and effect of each issue. He was patient and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions or concerns without hesitation. Jesse came and did the repair work. He was a master with PVC plumbing and repair. There were two leaks at the pump and a three way valve and ball valve had to be replaced as well as various PVC where leaks had occurred at the joints. He did tell me the quote was based on a real world inspection of the pool and no surprises I didn't tell him about. We picked a tile and Mike told me he would be at my house on October third. Mike showed up on time with two workers. Examined the pool and told me there were no surprises so his quote became firm. For the record, I was concerned because two previous bids were significantly higher and I was worried how his quote could be so much lower. I even asked him about this and he told me, "Three guys, one day labor and the amount of tile you need, this is a fair price." Mike and his two workers (one was his son, ya gotta love the family business aspect) worked all day and did a beautiful job retiling the pool. I could not give them a better review. They saved us a ton of money, showed up on time, communicated well before the project and did a high quality job on the install. A home owner could not ask for more. Steve

Mike not only specializes in the pebble tec issues, but was considerate, reliable, and did a great job on the actual repair. His price was extremely fair and competitive. They had been servicing our pool for approximately eight months, but the quality of service over…read morethe last several months was extremely disappointing. For about two months, our pool was covered in yellow algae. We brought this to the technician's attention after he had just serviced the pool, but he said he hadn't noticed it. He also failed to notice that the pool was several inches above the proper water level. How could someone paid to care for pools not recognize those issues. We then spoke directly with the owner, who assured us that he would personally take over the care of our pool. He came out and charged us $225 for a new water leveler nearly a month ago. However, the pool is still significantly overfilled, so the issue was never actually resolved. The pool was also still full of algae. Rather than correcting the problem, the owner repeatedly told us he would "get to it." Eventually, we had another pool company evaluate the situation, and they recommended draining and refilling the pool because the water was in such poor condition. We had completely remodeled and refilled our pool just last summer. Because it is a large diving pool, draining it would waste a significant amount of water and cost several hundred dollars to refill. We were essentially being told to spend hundreds of dollars to correct a problem that developed while the pool was under their care. At that point, we decided to hire another pool company to try to correct the situation. Unfortunately, we accidentally sent All American Pool $275 that was intended for the new company to perform the pool startup. We contacted All American Pool immediately, explained the mistake, and requested that the money be returned. They were already aware at that point that we were cancelling their service. The owner told us he needed to speak with the accountant (his wife) and would have the money sent back to us. Despite numerous calls and text messages since then, he has refused to return the $275. He acknowledged that he had received the money and told us he would return it, but he is now refusing to answer our calls or respond to our attempts to contact him. We understand that the payment was accidentally sent to them, but once they were notified of the mistake, we expected the money to be returned because it was not payment for services owed to them. There were also ongoing issues with the quality of their service. The pictures they sent at the end of their visits were supposed to show us that our pool had been properly cleaned, yet the yellow algae is clearly visible in those pictures. In June, our pool became extremely cloudy. When we contacted the owner, he said the filter probably needed to be cleaned. We were surprised that this had not been identified or recommended during their regular service. He then asked us to pay $399.99 upfront for a yearly filter cleaning service. We cancelled their service after only three months of that arrangement. When our new pool company took over, they found that the filter was full of dirt. Despite this, All American Pool has refused to return any of that money. We will be attaching photographs documenting the condition of the pool, including the algae and the condition shown in the service photos they provided. Overall, we are extremely disappointed with our experience. Problems were repeatedly overlooked, we were charged for services and equipment that did not resolve the issues, and when we raised our concerns, we felt that the responsibility was repeatedly shifted back onto us rather than the company taking ownership of the quality of its work. The refusal to return the $275 that was accidentally sent to them has only made the situation worse. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company.

We bought a house in Tempe and CAM Pools was servicing it, so we continued with them. After some…read morebig storms, the pool was a mess. [Added later: CAM's own report had photos showing it was a mess, but these aren't apparently reviewed by the owner.] CAM Pools didn't do much to clean up, and never told us hey, you need to pay more for storm cleanup. They basically left it to us to unclog the vacuum robot and clean up which we did as best we could. The chemistry was also very bad, as we found out later. The pressure on the pool filter was also way too high. [Added later: CAM's technician dutifully sent us a photo showing the pressure at 28 psi, but never told us that was bad.] That's all fixable, but they broke a tile (covering a skimmer basket) and never told us. Not great. But why they get only two stars is when I called the phone number in the "we cleaned your pool" email to cancel our service, the owner was positively mad at me for canceling without giving him a chance to fix the issues. He was angry and blamed me for not calling him earlier. He never apologized for these obvious problems or took responsibility. He wanted to yell at me for daring to complain without having called him first. Hard to believe that his company messed up and his angry reaction was that it was all my fault. [Added later: Note the owner's responses are "I'm sorry you feel that way" not "I'm sorry my company messed up." I hung up because he wanted to continue to argue with me about how I should have given him a chance to fix these problems. I was done with CAM and had every right to cancel without explanation. I never asked him to fix anything. If he really has a recording, I hope he posts it.] Contractors make mistakes. That's part of the territory. But blaming and yelling at the customers is not good. Maybe he had a bad day, so he gets two stars instead of one.
