In late March 2024 we contracted with Fowler's to service our pool, spa and water feature. We chose them because they had a very high rating on Yelp. During the initial months, their service was outstanding. At their recommendation we had them replace multiple components to our system. Their initial performance resulted in me writing a five star review on Yelp. In the past year, their service for us had deteriorated significantly. I contacted management multiple times regarding various issues. I complained when they replaced a very competent service technician with an individual who was marginal at best. After several months, he was replaced by another individual who was only minimally better. During the early months of our contract, Fowler's agreed to clean our water feature filter two times per month at no charge. Recently we noticed a reduction in the flow from the waterfall for our water feature and asked the technician to clean the filter. He replied "I'll do it next week". Several days later the water flow stopped altogether. This resulted in another call to management who subsequently informed me that the two times per month cleaning of the filter had not been done for the past five months. He then told me that they were no longer honoring their previous commitment and would only clean the filter every four months with a cost to us of more than $200. If additional cleanings were needed, we would be charged an additional fee. At that point, I decided to look for other vendors. The two that I interviewed both said that the water feature was full of algae. This was without any prompting by us. I contracted with a new vendor who cleaned the water feature filter and removed the algae. The time to clean the filter was seven minutes. To jeprodize a very lucrative contract for a seven minute task makes me question Fowler's business expertise. In retrospect, after spending over $13,000 with Fowler's in less than two years, I realize that they were not the company for us. I gave them more chances than most and they failed to perform to my expectations. I now know why they have recently received poor Yelp ratings from other individuals. Very unhappy with Fowler Pools. I paid them thousands of dollars to install pool equipment and it has broken down a lot in the first few months. What's most upsetting is they don't take responsibility - they blame everything except themselves and their product/install. Usually a company that is proud of their work would make sure the problem is fixed the first time it breaks, but nope, this "brand new product" keeps breaking and they are utterly shameless each time they come out and never say sorry, but just start blaming other things. If they want to fix this, take your product back and give me my money back. Just like your product/install, the trust is not fixable. read more

Fowler's Pool Company was absolutely great to work with from start to finish. They were very affordable compared to other companies, and they did an excellent job throughout the whole process. The owner even came out himself to take care of extreme calcium buildup on our pebble sheen--he did the work personally to ensure the best results. He also gave me helpful advice on maintaining pH balance. Their communication was great, the team was friendly and professional, and they had a great selection of tile in their office. Communication is very poor. Quality of work, if not done right the first time, is awful. Trying to get any sort of warranty work done is a nightmare. If you are looking to renovate your pool, DO NOT let them take any funds from you until it's done to your satisfaction. Watch to make sure the guys actually show up for service as they will claim they were there even when your gates are locked and they cannot get in. Sales guy was very nice and accommodating, but the project manager is not easy to work with as they simply pass the blame on to their consumer and don't wish to fix their issues without any additional money being sent to them. Maybe simple weekly work is great with them when scheduling properly, but major work needs to be watched carefully and not paid until completed. read more

First, I was a longtime customer of Fowlers even with their constant price increases for service and chemicals but no longer. They cleaned my pool filters and when the pool was dirty the next day they tried to sell me a $2500 new filter system. They cleaned these filters for me at least 2-3 times before so I knew how it works. The filters are in a container which houses another container which holds the filters. To clean the filters, they take the inside container out and then take all the filters out. The container and each filter is cleaned and replaced back into the inside container and locked back in the main container. With this cleaning that did not happen. I know because I watched the technician perform the service. The next day my pool was super dirty. That had never happened before. When I called the technician, he said the filters were old and wanted to sell me a new $2500 filter system. Well, that was bit difficult to swallow so I called another pool company to take a look at the filters. He took the inside container out and it was full of mud and sludge. When he took out the filters they looked like they had never been cleaned. We have a video and pictures of the dirty container and filters. They perform this service for their customers and in their professional opinion the filters had never been individually cleaned. The next day my pool was not dirty. Have not looked back with new company. read more

In December 2022, we contracted with Fowler Pools to do a complete makeover in our back yard including resurfacing our pool plus remodeling our entire deck and patio. We worked with David Fowler and his team, who were nothing less than amazing. While David was the "front man" on the project, every member of his team was professional, friendly and very easy to work with. Not only does David know his stuff, he is very personable and remained flexible throughout the entire project, which took about 6 weeks start to finish. It is clear that David is "customer satisfaction" focused and he definitely hit it out of the park on our project. We would be remiss if we did not give a special shout out to Luis and his assistant for the amazing job on the deck and patio surface. They were meticulous, reliable and very much driven by ensuring we were getting exactly what we wanted.
