BEWARE!!! Due to poor pressure on my filter (cartridge based) I was told I needed to re-plumb top/front filtration. I agreed, had the work done and the problem was not resolved. I sent multiple emails requesting a call back or for a tech to come back out as there was still an issue with my pool. Instead of a call back I started receiving invoices for the re-plumb job. I assumed this was an error as I had clearly communicated that there were still concerns regarding the pool. Again I was emailed the invoice so I called and got someone on the phone (Garrett - same person I was emailing) and explained AGAIN that the job isn't finished and that I was very disappointed. No apology was offered nor was there any attempt to schedule a tech to come out. Out of frustration I paid the invoice (I wish I hadn't) and told Garrett that I would look else where to solve the pool issues. So GLAD he didn't handle my decision to take my business elsewhere with any type of professionalism or have any desire to retain my business which is strange because I have never complained or questioned the work done by Arizona Mirage Mirage. Luckily for me, I contacted Steve at McCools Pools. He told me he had a tech in the area and he could swing by TODAY! I was amazed. The tech was at my door 20 minutes after I placed my call to McCools Pools. He looked at my pool and within a couple of minutes identified the problem. The door to my skimmer was shot. As you can see by pics below the door is missing it's floatation device as well as a rubber stopper on the end of the door. This was limiting water flow and causing the issues. The tech from McCools Pools said this should have been diagnosed immediately as the door was in horrible condition and should be inspected regularly. He replaced the door and now my pool is running perfectly. Lastly I realize that if people share a problem and offer no solution it sounds like complaining (which I am not doing) so I offer this, if you decide to use Arizona Mirage do yourself a favor and get a second opinion on what they quote you otherwise you could end up re-plumbing a section of your pool instead of just replacing a single part for a few dollars.

Our clean Pool! Thanks to Arizona Mirage Pool Service

They had been servicing our pool for approximately eight months, but the quality of service over…read morethe last several months was extremely disappointing. For about two months, our pool was covered in yellow algae. We brought this to the technician's attention after he had just serviced the pool, but he said he hadn't noticed it. He also failed to notice that the pool was several inches above the proper water level. How could someone paid to care for pools not recognize those issues. We then spoke directly with the owner, who assured us that he would personally take over the care of our pool. He came out and charged us $225 for a new water leveler nearly a month ago. However, the pool is still significantly overfilled, so the issue was never actually resolved. The pool was also still full of algae. Rather than correcting the problem, the owner repeatedly told us he would "get to it." Eventually, we had another pool company evaluate the situation, and they recommended draining and refilling the pool because the water was in such poor condition. We had completely remodeled and refilled our pool just last summer. Because it is a large diving pool, draining it would waste a significant amount of water and cost several hundred dollars to refill. We were essentially being told to spend hundreds of dollars to correct a problem that developed while the pool was under their care. At that point, we decided to hire another pool company to try to correct the situation. Unfortunately, we accidentally sent All American Pool $275 that was intended for the new company to perform the pool startup. We contacted All American Pool immediately, explained the mistake, and requested that the money be returned. They were already aware at that point that we were cancelling their service. The owner told us he needed to speak with the accountant (his wife) and would have the money sent back to us. Despite numerous calls and text messages since then, he has refused to return the $275. He acknowledged that he had received the money and told us he would return it, but he is now refusing to answer our calls or respond to our attempts to contact him. We understand that the payment was accidentally sent to them, but once they were notified of the mistake, we expected the money to be returned because it was not payment for services owed to them. There were also ongoing issues with the quality of their service. The pictures they sent at the end of their visits were supposed to show us that our pool had been properly cleaned, yet the yellow algae is clearly visible in those pictures. In June, our pool became extremely cloudy. When we contacted the owner, he said the filter probably needed to be cleaned. We were surprised that this had not been identified or recommended during their regular service. He then asked us to pay $399.99 upfront for a yearly filter cleaning service. We cancelled their service after only three months of that arrangement. When our new pool company took over, they found that the filter was full of dirt. Despite this, All American Pool has refused to return any of that money. We will be attaching photographs documenting the condition of the pool, including the algae and the condition shown in the service photos they provided. Overall, we are extremely disappointed with our experience. Problems were repeatedly overlooked, we were charged for services and equipment that did not resolve the issues, and when we raised our concerns, we felt that the responsibility was repeatedly shifted back onto us rather than the company taking ownership of the quality of its work. The refusal to return the $275 that was accidentally sent to them has only made the situation worse. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company.

Despite the fact it was after hours (evening before the party), Rod actually spent 20 minutes with me via FaceTime to diagnose the problem, assist me with repairing a valve and priming a pump. He provided me with specific instructions and he was able to get everything working again all via FaceTime. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! He was sympathetic to my time critical situation, and he genuinely wanted to be helpful. He would not accept any money despite my insistence. You just don't see this type of authentic integrity anymore. Excellent work ethic, extremely knowledgeable, quick response, and he didn't feel right charging me simply because he wasn't there in person. The FaceTime instruction was extremely educational and his thorough step-by-step guidance was spot on. He was very patient with me. Other companies said it would be $475 just to come out and take a look. This is the only company I will use for all my future pool service needs. Hard to find people like Rod these days.
