We hired this company in 2021 for a full landscaping project that included PVC irrigation, landscape lighting, and extensive plant installation. What was originally quoted around $7,000 ultimately totaled close to $20,000, all paid in cash. For us, this was a major investment. Less than five years later, nearly everything they installed is failing or has already had to be redone. The irrigation system was installed far too shallow. In many areas, PVC lines were placed just below or at the surface, including along walls and hardscape, instead of being properly trenched and compacted. As a result, the irrigation system has failed prematurely and is now being replaced. The lighting lines were also installed shallow and have had issues. The majority of the plants they installed died due to improper planting practices, including holes not dug correctly and lack of proper planting preparation. We are now paying other professionals to redo work that should have lasted far longer than this. We were also supposed to begin monthly maintenance service after the project was completed. We paid a $500 startup fee and were quoted $100 per month, but no one came out for three months. When I followed up, I was told the yard was now "overgrown" and that I would need to pay several hundred dollars more to address it, despite the lapse in service being entirely on their end. Throughout the process, communication was dismissive. Despite paying close to $20,000, the owner repeatedly referred to our project as a "small job" for him. When I finally sent a message addressing the condescending tone and lack of follow through, I received no response at all. Because warranty terms were never provided in writing, I have not attempted to pursue corrections through them. I would not hire this company again and strongly recommend that anyone considering them get everything in writing and be very cautious with payment structure. read more

I did my landscaping - front and backyard with Vix and it turned out amazing! Some of the trees were from Shamus O'Leary Green Life and the Compost was from the Worm farm next door - where Victor and Rego and their crew transported it and filled in all of the tree and approx 60 feet of vegetable /herb garden! They even came back out to fix a couple items - like lighting and marble seat paving! I would highly recommend Vix and his crew! read more

These guys do some great work. We had them replace the tile on our patio with travertine. They also extended the travertine to part of our back yard for extra seating/entertainment area. I hired Vix landscape to replace the existing flagstone in my courtyard with paver stones. When the owner (Victor Rios) came to my house to give me a quote, he asked if there was concrete under the existing flagstone; I told him that I did not know, as the flagstone was installed prior to me purchasing my home. Mr. Rios NEVER said anything else about the possibility of underlying concrete and what might be the consequences if concrete was there, so I assumed that his quote was final. During demolition, they did find some concrete (less than 10% of the total square footage of this project). I was then told that if I did not agree to pay an additional $1,600 (the quoted demolition for the entire project was $2,350), he would pull all of his men from my project and walk away - note that my yard was already ripped-up - so at this point I was bent over. The worst part of this saga was Mr. Rios' attitude. I have never dealt with a more arrogant contractor who told me that these additional costs are common in the industry and that it was my fault that I did expect that!!!!! While the work that was done by his employees was very good, Mr. Rios' business ethics are non-existent in my opinion. Be very careful when dealing with this individual. Terrible customer service. New irrigation system, landscaping, etc all done 1/15/21. New plants died within 2 weeks. Heard every excuse but my dog ate my homework when asked to replace. My landscaper is here now and "new" timer from January is broken already. Trying to reach by text, email.......no response. Buyer beware. Spend your money some where else. read more
