This company had been cleaning my pool for over 5 years. There were times I had to call them for issues and most recently they left my pool in a backwash mode thus draining half my pool. When brought to their attention they told me they fired the tech and then I received a text message that they no longer would be servicing my pool. No explanation. They would not answer my phone calls or text messages, left me hanging to scramble and find another pool maintenance company. OK I've had a lot of pool companies and they pretty much all do the same thing and some are ok and others are just terrible. Then there is Klearly Kleaned Pools and Craig. I've known Craig for a while and he has always done my pool drains and refills. He helped when I did it myself and turned the pool green a few times. He gives great advise and he never tries to sell you anything. Ask him and he will tell you what he can do for you. You get what you want without bells and whistles that don't mean anything. They also put in my new variable speed pump. They installed it for $1,000 less then the closest bids I gathered. Mind you there is no buddy discount here, you don't need it with Klearly Kleaned. They are cheap and are REALLY GOOD at this stuff! They now do my weekly service for a great price. I have had 0 issues. I use the pool with my wife and two dogs, at least twice a day. I told them yesterday it was a little cloudy from the wind storm and excessive use. He showed up today and now it's clear as glass! Just know that you won't be overcharged for BS and you'll get great service. More importantly a super Klean pool. Thanks guys! read more

I have been severely disappointed with A Klearly Kleaned Pool service. My husband and I have used this company for several years and the service started out well while Kyle, the owner, serviced the pool himself. The trouble began when Kyle passed us on to Mike. Mike, while friendly when approached, was never observed with a net or brush in hand while servicing our pool. He would do what looked like a quick water check and dump some chemicals in, then leave after only a few minutes. Service was performed timely each week, but the pool was often cloudy and during much of the year was permitted to go green although we paid the same for the maintenance year-round. We were finally told the pool needed to be emptied and refilled, which we paid them to do. The pool started looking cloudy again soon after the refill. When a new part was required, months passed without any repair which kept the pool from being adequately filtered. When my husband reached out to ask why the pool looked so bad, Kyle would make excuses and refuse to own up to the problems. He said the required part was back ordered due to shortages. We finally called another company to assess the condition of our pool, the chemicals were so out of the normal ranges that we were informed it needs to be emptied, acid washed and refilled in order to restore the proper balance...this less than a year after the last draining. This should not be the case if the pool has been properly maintained. We were also informed that the part that took months to get replaced was not one he had ever had any trouble getting or replacing. We have switched service providers and are paying to have the pool drained again to start fresh with the required maintenance. When my husband reached out via email to tell A Klearly Kleaned Pool why we were switching providers he received a nasty response that he has been a difficult customer. I'm not one to give poor reviews, but this has been a bad enough experience it warrants passing on of information to save others from a similar occurrence. There is plenty of competition for pool servicing. If you are considering this provider, my advice is to keep looking! read more

My wife and I have used A Klearly Kleaned Pool service for a couple of years. We should have switched service providers a long time ago, but we tried to be nice and work with them. We have always had issues with our pool not being clean. The pool would often be cloudy and have algae problems that lasted for months and wouldn't go away even after paying month after month for extra chemicals like liquid chlorine. I'm also not sure they really ever brushed the pool. Every time we brushed it , it had tons of dirt accumulation along the sides and in the remote bottom areas of the pool where the sweeper doesn't always reach. We were told that the problem with our pool was that the water had been in the pool too long and needed to be changed. We paid to have the water changed and less than 6 months later the algae and cloudiness problems returned. Out of frustration, we called another highly rated service who came and tested the water and let us know that the chemical levels were so out of normal that the only solution was to pay to drain and refill the pool. Draining and refilling a pool is not an annual task if the pool is properly maintained. I'm not sure what we have been billed for over the last several months if the chemical levels are so bad that the pool has to be drained again. In addition to the frustration with the pool cleanliness, we were told the skimmer weir was worn and needed to be replaced. The old one was removed but a new one wasn't installed for months, even though we were billed for it. We were told this was due to the difficulty of finding one for our pool. After it was finally installed we found it lying in the rocks next to the pool about a week or two later. It stayed there for months. When we asked why it had been removed and not reinstalled, we were told it didn't work well and could cause the pump to not have enough water and suck in air. When asked what the solution was we were told they didn't know and that someone else from the office was working on it and would get back to us. After several more months we reinstalled it ourselves and made sure it would let in adequate water and never had problems with it again. It's not a good feeling to pay for a service that you have to take care of on your own. The final problem that caused us to switch providers was A Klearly Kleaned Pool's recommendation for a pool deck resurfacing company. They recommended we use S&L Pool Service to resurface our aging and cracked pool deck. They came out and removed the old deck and replaced it with a new coating at a cost of $2600. After only 9 months of our new deck, it began to crack, bubble, and chip off. When we called to get it repaired S&L refused to call us back. We had another company come out and they informed us that the work was done wrong by someone who didn't know what they were doing and that the whole deck needs to be removed and have an epoxy coating added to the porous cement around the pool prior to putting on the new cool deck. This is something that S&L should have known and identified when they removed the old decking. From all of these experiences it is clear that this company has very little business integrity and doesn't seem to know what they are doing. DO NOT USE A KLEARLY KLEANED POOL. Save your money and save yourself the headaches we have experienced by going with a service that will maintain your pool properly. read more

Kyle and his team have been cleaning and maintaining our pool at least for 10 years--first in south Chandler and now in Ahwatukee. They are reliable and responsive. Whenever repairs were needed, Kyle is very transparent about options and gives me a range of estimates (from the best- to the worst-case scenario), and I think what they charge is very reasonable. Do yourself a favor and pick a different pool cleaning company!!! We've been with them for 6 years - in the beginning they were great, then not sure what happened, but they started missing service calls and turning my pool green and then charging for extra chemicals to get it back to clear. We hardly ever used the pool, but we started noticing when we put up our security cameras and could confirm that when the pool was cloudy or turning green he had missed that week. Contacted Kyle and instead of hearing me out and trying to rectify the problem, he cancelled our service. Clearly they are scamming and didn't like it when I called him on it, so it was easier to just quit us. He's very rude and has ZERO customer service skills - find yourself a different company to give your business to, unless you like being charged for a service they're not providing and then having to pay extra to correct it! read more

I called Klearly Kleaned Pools to get an estimate on pool draining and acid wash and Craig came out for the estimate. He actually agreed with me that the acid wash wasn't necessary this year since the pool was pretty clean already so the lack of an attempt to up sell was appreciated. I did have him do the routine check on my filter grids, acid wash the spa only and then drain and refill the pool. He showed up on time and as requested, he got the work done and cleaned up following the refill and was always available for questions. I went to the pool store to check the chemicals 3 days after completion and the chemical levels were all perfect. The pool looks great, their pricing was at or below their competition and I would recommend them to anyone that will listen. I won't be calling anyone else in the future. read more

I could not be happier with my service with this company. The communication from Kyle has been over and Beyond stellar they are patient to work with you if you need to save money for repairs and are always quick to come out if there's an issue. They are extremely honest, I know this because I was told that my entire pool pump and motor needed to be replaced buy a shady Gilbert Pullman when it turned out that it was only a $15 part that they replaced for just the cost of the part. Recently experienced trouble with my filtration system and they pinpointed what it was without it costing me thousands of dollars.
