BRO. i read some reviews and was a little scared to try this place but oh my lanta. first off, every worker here is so nice and very attentive. the outside seems a little meh but the inside is beautiful. plus they do trivia every tuesday night. i got the mac and jac with pulled pork. 20/10. amazing. and a side of tater tots. beautiful. my friend got the sqeeler burger (i think?) with a side of fries. she says the fries could have more salt but the burger is the best she's ever had. plus we get free pickles. and!!! the offer ginger ale. never has i been to a restaurant with ginger ale. my friend got the strawberry lemonade. overall everything is amazing. will be back

Plan B normally never disappoints but tonight it did. Our server Christina was the only highlight of the evening. Our Southern Pulled Pork sliders were dry. My burger was undercooked, bread and bacon was cold. My cheese wasn't melted either. I also thought it was way smaller than usual. The waitress offered to have a fresh burger made but I asked it be put back on the grill. I had not bit into it, just cut it in half. My husband's burger didn't have the correct cheese and his fries were cold. I hope my next visit will go better or else they will be off my favorite list 11/8: Wanted to return to one of my favorites. Our waiter Gio was amazing. Our food was what I've been used to from Plan B. I tried the Shepherds Pie. It's huge and so delicious. I would definitely order again. Thanks Gio

Got the mother of all burger tonight ,way over cooked ,thin and cheap greasy fries , grease soaked buns, would have been better going to McDonald's for a real burger ordered thru grub hub the French onion soup of the day was disgusting to say the least, greasy onions and slimy bread chunks

We were visiting family for Thanksgiving. Our host/hostess brought us here before rest of the relatives come into town. We were here for appetizers and few drinks. The bartender was amazing. We may have been a little loud... just a little. She laughed at our stupid jokes and stories. We ordered a few appetizers and all were delicious. We also ordered a few cocktails which definitely hit the spot and prepared us for of the family. Great place to just hang and have a few drinks and catch up

Go to Plan B Burger, if you are craving burgers and more! I went to Plan B with a friend to have their delicious Nacho King Burger (from the charity menu) and to support the local charity! Yes, you heard that right! Plan B has a charity menu going on right now! Alex (Yelp Community Manager) and other celebrities have teamed up with Plan B to support the charity of their choice! Alex's charity is Kenwayscause, focuses on animal welfare and rescue around Hartford in Connecticut. Every time you buy Nacho King Burger, 10% of the proceeds go to Kenwayscause. All Plan B Burger restaurants are promoting the celebrity charity burger challenge throughout the month of May! Two days left to support this great cause! Get your Nacho King Burger today! You don't want to miss out on this delicious burger made with turkey patty, nacho sauce, potato chips and lots of jalapeños!! We also got fried calamari and fried pickles (which were delicious but HOT). Shout out for Joe M, our amazing server with lot of patience and good humor. We were there for almost three hours! Joe did not rush us and kept checking on us while we enjoyed our burgers! It was the good food for the great cause, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere that made our meal so special. I am definitely going back!

Ever since we first tried out this place, whenever we find ourselves in the area with some burger cravings, we stop buy. We love the friendly staff and the ambiance of the place. Perfect for larger parties (family size) or if you're trying to do a cute date night since they have varying table sizes. This time we tried out their wings and I got the Philly steak cheeseburger - both were delicious! The Philly steak burger isn't exactly like a Philly cheesesteak however the thin cut strips of meat with mushroom and cheese sauce loaded on top really was delicious nonetheless. A little bit messy so would recommend having a wet wipe ready haha. We also love their fries here and how always fresh and crispy they are! Can't wait to go back again to try out a new menu item!

Burger Salad

The food was very good. They need to clean! The glass partition is filthy. The floors need a real scrub! The door handle on the front door is literally falling off.

Still great in 2025!…read more Had the jamming burger specials with the yummy jammified onions and they satisfied the burger craving without fault. The pretzel bites were also salty and bready nuggets of deliciousness. Service was great and friendly! It doesn't have a particularly great look outside or inside (mostly a bar with some tall tables and several large screen tvs) but they are consistently good with their flavorful offerings, which is what matters most.

We ordered wings and the special tacos of the day which were eye of the round tomatillo tacos with pico. We get the buffalo sauce and cajun dry rub on our wings which were 5 stars. The tacos not so much. For $15 the three tacos were tiny, 3 pieces of eye of the round on two tacos, 4 on third. The pico was tomatoes with a tiny piece of jalapeno and onion in water, weird. The tomatillo sauce was ok, but not the best. We LOVE this place but these tacos missed the mark. Service was good. At the end, Lauren took over. She was friendly and introduced herself to us and others at the bar. She mostly cashed us out, but we liked her friendliness. Go with confidence, it's a great local bar/restaurant with good, friendly service.

First off, the beer: it's stupidly good. Like, annoyingly good. The kind of good where you go in thinking, "I'll just try one" and then three flights later you're googling if it's socially acceptable to move into a brewery. Their IPAs actually taste different from one another (shocking, I know), the stouts don't drink like liquid bread, and even the lighter stuff has actual flavor. It's witchcraft, and I'm here for it. The vibe? Top tier. Inside feels like hanging out in your cool friend's garage--if your cool friend also had a professional brewing setup and knew what the hell they were doing. Outside, the beer garden is basically Milford's adult playground. Add in food trucks and you've got yourself the perfect Saturday. The staff? Friendly, quick, and actually seem like they enjoy being there. Do you know how rare that is? I've been to breweries where the bartender looked like I asked them to solve long division just by ordering a pint. Not here. At Tribus, they get it right. Bottom line: If you're looking for a place where the beer slaps, the vibe's relaxed, and you won't get ignored like a ghost at a bad Mexican restaurant (ask me how I know), Tribus is it. 11/10, would recommend, and will absolutely keep coming back until they name a beer after me.

First opinion was not positive as there are three doors with signs on them and a good amount of junk on the outside, so curb appeal was lacking. We went in, weren't greeted, but greeted the brewery-tender. He doesn't say anything really, doesn't welcome us, or offer to tell us about the brewery even though we share its our first time. The place is clean, with darts, and board games (in disrepair). The Rangers have just started playing, first period. I ordered a white wine, hubby a citra session ipa. Hubby thought the beer was great, however served with a 2" head so not as exciting. Quickly after arriving, a family arrived with a bunch of kids who treated the place as a McDonalds play space. No one said a thing as they ran crazy, throwing darts, and just being kids on a playground, yelling and screaming. Eventually, another group comes in, most likely owners as nothing was rang up, and kiddo was behind bar playing on POS system, but suddenly the bartender was friendlier, and the parents asked the kiddos to chill. This brewery can't grow with this experience to new customers. Dockside is only in their fifth year, they run like a well oiled machine. Plus side for this small brewery, it was clean, wine was not bottom barrel but a good choice, and hubby very much liked the beers. When we arrived, the bartender was watching the hockey game. The board games were all in disarray. I personally fixed most of them, because we were looking for something to challenge each other with besides drinking lol. Maybe in down times, fix things up. Overall, if not for the very rambunctious kiddos running and screaming, we would rate it a four. Today I can't. Six years in business and not growing, your beers are great, wine is better than most, but atmosphere is a playground. Another tip is to provide ice. Water provided is warm. Go check them out as beer and vino are good.

The two are both Milford residents and originally met when both of their daughters played on the same softball team. Willett had been a fan of craft beer for some time and eventually started homebrewing. Candido had originally only drank macro brewery offerings like Bud Light, but soon converted to craft beer after trying Willett's homebrew. Willett began entering his beer into homebrew competitions and eventually beat out 40 other contestants at a contest in Stamford. Eventually Willett and Candido decided to join forces and open their own brick and mortar brewery: the first one to open in Milford which now has a growing craft beer scene. It is their mission to produce great-tasting quality beer for local beer drinkers. Most of their offerings are named after points of interest in Milford. I first visited Milford Point Brewing in March 2019. I devoted that day to trying out some new breweries in the area that I hadn't visited yet. Milford Point was my last stop of the day. They have a cozy taproom in a business park and most of the clientele seemed to be locals. I sat at the bar and ordered a flight of four which consisted of "06460" (Citra Session IPA), "Silver Sands" (IPA), "West Shore" (Double IPA), and "Settlers Stout" (Milk Stout). The Silver Sands IPA was my favorite of the flight and I purchased a four-pack of cans to take home. Milford Point makes a nice addition to the city's craft beer scene.

TLDR: a finance bro gets healthy by leaving the industry, quits drinking and brews awesome…read morenon-alcoholic beer and takes his company public, inventing an awesome lifestyle brand in the process. Athletic Brewing is the premier brewer of nonacholic beer in the US. Full stop. When I found them a few years ago, AB was hidden in back warehouse in Stratford. They were operating on a hope and a prayer. I'm guessing they built out that first taproom themselves with a few trips to Home Depot. The beer was the star of the show, awesome but hard to get, the market not yet realizing this was a "Good Thing." I could go on and on about their standard fare which has expanded to Run Wild, Upside Dawn and Free Wave but the two things made them different, and special, to those who were in driving distance: the taproom and the limited run, special varieties available there. Taking the second point first, the head brewer must be a made genius and/or he decided to let taproom patrons be his guinea pigs for testing. (Bring back Single Hop Mosiac!@) For several years, especially before the main flavors weren't widely available, I'd stop at the taproom and pick up strange and unique hop blends and experimental formulations. Each was in a nondescript silver can. As time passed and the overall brand grew, some of those experiments have become seasonal or special flavors, graced with a distinctive can design - these include Downinder, All Out and others. The taproom was a special place. AB smartly staffed it with a personable and knowledgeable staff who excelled at both introducing NA beer to the uninitiated and expanding the palette of veterans to the growing rotation of flavors. Regrettably, since the closure of the Stratford location and move to the modern, larger Milford brewery, the taproom has been "paused." I can't see why they would delay reopening the taproom as the customer connection and experience there strongly differentiated AB from every other brewer NA or not in CT. Further, the Milford location has a boss patio with styling branded umbrellas that would be a perfect spot for a cold NA draft while picking up a selection to go. Hopefully, AB will be able to balance their meteoric rise to the nationally dominant NA brand with a local Milford taproom. For now, you get still get six packs to go, albeit warm, and no opportunity for tasting on site. The knowledgeable staff is still present to guide your beer selections. Final notes: Putting aside the flavor (which is great) most of these beers are less than 100 calories. Most are like 65 or 70 calories. The Downwinder Gose is the perfect summer thirst quencher. I could stick with the Run Wild IPA and the Hazy IPA and nothing else. The available one off limited run flavors take AB from good to excellent. They remain price competitive even after present widespread availability nationwide. IMHO no other NA beer comes close on flavor, and on the price/flavor combination, AB is the lead by a mile. Enjoy!

For my 2025 New Year's resolution, I made a decision to start leading a healthier lifestyle. I made the decision to cut out a lot of carbs (especially refined white flour) and I'm eating foods that are high in protein and fiber, but low in fat and calories. These are also foods that make you feel fuller faster. I've also decided to significantly reduce alcohol intake. Craft beers tend to be very high in calories, and alcohol in general can have negative effects on your metabolism. A friend of mine recently decided to start exclusively drinking Athletic beers. Five months into it, he feels significantly healthier and may never drink real beer again. I decided to give the 'Athletic diet' a trial run. I signed up for a year membership and visited their Milford facility to grab a case of their beer. I'm optimistic that this new change will help me to lose inches off my waist (and save money too) without losing the great taste of craft beer.
