Gentle Reader, sometimes I get my reviews slightly off, so I revisit and try again. This order was to go, but it was yummy: a double burger with cheese, bacon jam, and onions. 4 of 5 because while the burger was tasty and we loved building our own add-ons with the easy to navigate online ordering, we prefer a crispy smash burger (no crisp in this but lots of flavor). The fries and tots were great--5/5 but next time I'd pass on the tot cheese sauce at the bottom of the dish. We'll also request foil wrapping inside the to go box to retain the heat. The chicken wrap with pesto mayo was 4/5-tasty, especially with the pesto mayo on the side. More chicken would have made this a five star sandwich BLT fries are a crowd pleaser--I don't get it because the ingredients cool the fries down too much for me, but my family disagrees, so 4.5/5 Cheese steak--4/5 because it was tasty but the bun was so lightly toasted we couldn't discern it as toasted. Gluten-free bun on the smash burger was outstanding--thin and flavorful. This burger had honey mustard, raw onions, lettuce and tomatoes. Not crispy but super satisfying to the consumer. 5/5 Service is always good here. We'll be back for more. Yelp doesn't allow half stars, so I'll land on a 4 star rather than a 5. It's close and Fryborg is worth at least one try. read more

We passed this place coming into town and my wife and son who are fry fiends spotted it. There was a couple games inside for kids which was cool. Service was friendly, not as busy on a Sunday afternoon as I would expect. Chili cheese fries had a curry taste to them, which was delicious. Poutine and chicken sandwich was tasty. I can't believe I didn't come in sooner! My dog and I enjoyed a 5 mile hike and boy was it a reward going here after! I did order online which was super easy, they even have a drive thru window (must check out with that option). The place looked super clean on the inside and plenty of seating. Ordered chicken tenders with buffalo ranch sauce and a small poutine. I'm super picky about chicken tenders but these were crispy, not oily, and the chicken was still juicy! And there wasnt an overbearing amount of breading, I almost didn't share with my dog! The poutine was fantastic and filled to the brim. Even after the drive home the fries still lasted through the gravy. We will be back!! read more

Just went here for lunch, I've been to the old Milford location but never this one. A friend recommended I try their donuts, but I didn't see any on the menu. We got the chicken tenders which came with a dipping sauce and an order of small fries that came with 2 dipping sauces. It's fun to try the different sauces. The tenders were amazing! So much flavor and perfect breading. They weren't skimpy either. I was also sooo craving fluff and ordered the fluffernutter sandwich which was a disappointment. All of our food was hot, fresh and ready quickly. There wasn't any detectable fluff in my peanut butter sandwich which was a bummer and made the sandwich kinda lame. Only reason I'm leaving a 4 star review versus 5. I liked the vibes, decor and convenient parking. They were also selling a large variety of chocolate bars which was pretty cool! You either have fast food or fancier sit down places with "gourmet" burgers. I have never been impressed with a burger in Shelton, Newtown, Monroe or Trumbull until I had a Fryborg burger. I absolutely adore the fries, too. They are out of this world, nothing like it anywhere else in CT. Worth a trip from anywhere just for that. But I am a smashburger girl. Fryborg is excellent! Stopped in for a quick lunch and I'm really happy we did. The folks at the counter were nice and helpful, and the food was delish. We ordered a hot dog, cheese fries and veggie burger. The hot dog was just as good as those I've had at Rawley's and Super Duper Weenie in Fairfield (a badge of honor in my opinion) and the cheese fries are the best I've had in Connecticut. My wife also said the veggie burger was really good too, and my 2 year old enjoyed tasting a bit of everything. The vibe inside is nice and welcoming. They have lots of tables, as well as games like Uno and Candyland to play while you wait for your food. What a great spot, totally worth a visit if you're in the area! read more

First time customers and prior to ordering, I called with a few questions. I have to be very honest: the girl who answered the phone did not seem like she wanted to be there. Because of this, we ended up ordering way less than we originally planned. We still wanted to try it but in our experience when the employees don't seem happy, usually it's not a good experience. The food was good! I'd go back and try a few of the other things we were looking at trying. We're big fans of dips and sauces. We liked the variety of options and paid for a few extra, but wouldn't do that again. They weren't bad but nothing that made the food stand out more, if that makes sense. Liked the thousand island the most and the honey mustard the least. (Did not like the ketchup lol, we'd opt for our own ketchup at home next time. Pretty partial to Heinz, maybe that's not what they use) 3 stars, because the food we did have was good, nothing to complain about. Would be great if the service was a little friendlier. My son and I went for dinner here and a great time. We ordered our food at the counter and then sat down at the table with a buzzer and our beverages. They had cards and small board games for us to play w it's while waiting along with a small hockey table top game and a pac man sit down game for Customers to play with. We had a large order of cheese fries which was amazing. The hand cut fries are super fresh and crispy with a velvety smooth cheese sauce. We then tried pickle fries which were not up our alley. The are a bit pricey and the flavor for us just wasn't for us. It is literally pickle Spears cut up and dipped in batter and fried. My son had a grilled cheese which was a tad bit burnt and nothing to write home about. I had the salad with fried chicken on top. The chicken was a small portion but very hood. The breading came off a bit more than I would preferred but the flavor was very good. Almost tasted as if chicken was marinated in pickle juice and fried. Brought my family here for a late Sunday lunch. This was our first time here. The atmosphere is nice, and they even have a selection of boardgames for patrons to play. The staff member that took our order was very patient with us given that we had small children and had never been there and we're navigating the menu and offered helpful suggestions. As for the food, we had the cheese fries and they were pretty good, my hamburger was just ok. The beef was high-quality and but it felt a little thrown together. Overall, this was a good experience and we will be back. Think I'll try the Philly cheesesteak next time. read more

Fryborg just started offering breakfast. I had the bacon egg and cheese on toasted sourdough and it was super tasty. The sourdough was a refreshing change from the usual hard roll. I stole bites of the breakfast burrito, And it was awesome. Crispy tots, bacon and sausage, lots of melty cheese. I don't know which one I like better, but I know I'll be getting them both again soon. Donuts are also a new menu item and they are killer! Super fresh, made in house, And they have really fun, bold flavors. They had blueberry, pistachio, cookies and cream, and classic Cinnamon sugar. The vibe and the store itself are really fun. I love this place, i ordered a chicken ceaser salad and a BLT, and the BLT wasn't even on the menu, and they made it for me anyways, and it was the best BLT that I ever had, the bread was crispy and buttery, and the bacon and the tomatoes, and the lettuce was so fresh, and the the restaurant was so clean, and the bathroom was clean, the kitchen was clean, and the owner was so pleasant, and approachable, and I would definitely come back.. read more

I wanted to like this place, but left disappointed. I ordered the "Signature Cheesesteak Sandwich." The wait was relatively long, and the staff stood around looking bored. For $12.00, the sandwich should have come WITH fries, which were also overpriced and lacked crunch. As for the sandwich, I couldn't pick it up, because the roll just did not stand up to the moisture of the ingredients. It was also so salty that I could not finish it. Finally, apparently the only choices of beverage were bottles of soda, which were $3.00 apiece. I found that to be abusive and a cynical money grab. I don't see any reason to return. read more

Got a single burger and a small fries and it was $18 and change! No soda or anything. The single burger would not fill my 3 year old kid and it was for me. It was like a kids jr burger. Happy to have found fryborg in Trumbull. They have a dedicated fryer for gluten-free fries which are Celiac safe. Tater tots were great. Ordered the cheesesteak with peppers and onions which I really enjoyed. Will be back to try out loaded fries and special sauces. read more
