Great pizza in the middle of nowhere. We waited quite a long time, that's why only 4 stars. However food was great.

Awesome pizza and wings! They could use a little more seating in there, but over all we loved it! We even tried the honey on the crust and that really topped it off. I will have to say we could have done another basket of wings though! Highly recommend, it was worth the stop! read more

I had the Healthy Hunter & added Canadian bacon on a personal pizza. Delicious! Love their crust. Beer was cold. Hubbie had the philly cheese steak sandwich which he said was very good. We sat outside & the guy working the front came outside to see if we needed anything twice. Would definitely return! read more

I recently visited this restaurant and was very pleased by the pizza. The restaurant itself is pretty small but very cute. The pizza had very thick crust (so much crust that we didn't completely finish it all), and we were very surprised to learn that the honey placed at every table was for dipping the crust in. This is apparently a tradition in Custer, and we wish we learned this tradition before we were in the process of leaving the restaurant. The service was great and the pizza and salads were absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back. read more

Pizza had very little sauce. Asked for more and they said sure but it would cost more. We said OK. They never bothered to bring it to us and never checked in on is again. Water tasted like bleach. read more

Everything was great but one thing. I don't recommend the chicken bacon ranch sandwich because the chicken looked like and tasted like it was just froze (and it took the longest to make) however the rest of my family loves their food (pizza, salad, and Philly cheesesteaks) and would have rated it 4/5. The pizza was terrific in every way and with a large group there were multiple different types of flavors and toppings ordered and all were great. With no time to cook over a campfire after a long day of hiking we decided to get some pizza takeout. I'm glad we chose pizza mill. They have that wonderful twisted bready crust that is yummy with honey. The pictures of the pizza are spot on. I agree the medium is good for 2 people. We didn't get the sandwiches but they sure looked good. Our cheese was a little overdone and had a lot of pizza spice on it - which I would like but my daughter was less than pleased - so if you have little ones, you might request leaving off the spices. We got the supreme which was really good with lots of toppings. It's 15-40min depending on how many orders are in front of you, but they will give you an estimate. This is a very small operation. There was a super nice girl taking and running out orders and a guy in the back cooking. Clean bathrooms. I have already decided this will be the meal we get next time we show up in town to camp and don't want to cook! read more

Stopped for a quick lunch & was not disappointed. We had the special which was the Hearty Logger & wings. My wife doesn't normally eat wings but loved them. Crispy & great flavor. Looks can be deceiving and this place is another example of this adage:). Nice small place with modest interiors but the PIZZA is a bomb. We had the vegetarian pizza and it had unique flavors along with loads of fresh vegetables. read more

The pizza is amazing! You order up at the counter - then it takes about 15 min to get your pizza. Definitely worth the wait!

Liked the pizza and the staff were friendly, but the place is small and they struggle with orders of more than 4-5 large pizzas at a time. It's good that they won't sacrifice food quality or take orders for pizzas they can't produce in a reasonable time. However it is a bit of a limitation. I'd go back. I enjoyed the pizza. read more

Nice decor and you can eat outside. Only 2 pizza sizes- medium and x-large. Crust was good but sauce seemed darker than usual pizza sauce and had an ok taste. Biggest complaint was the cheese was just barely melted, not brown at all. I almost asked them to put it back in the oven. Teenagers seem to be running the place and you could tell they were struggling. read more

Very impressed!! I came on a slow day in June. My family was probably the only business the parlour got all day. The ladies working the counter were very excited and friendly. We ordered our pizza and got it in less than fifteen minutes. The pizza was great! It was well worth the cost. As we ate, we had a conversation with the girls at the counter. We probably stayed for about an hour. I would love to return to this restaurant on my next visit to the black hills. read more

Best pizza in Custer. Would be 3 stars, but the great outer crust and honey on the table make it 4. The sauce is bland...not much flavor. Also, don't order the garlic bread. It's just 4 frozen slices heated up, like from a box at the grocery store...with this place's pizza dough, I'm sure they could make some amazing garlic bread if they wanted to. The pepperoni pizza is pretty decent. It's a different kind of pizza (at least compared to the pizza I usually eat back home, which is 700 miles away.) It was priced slightly too high, in my opinion. It was good, but I would personally like to try other pizza places in the area. read more
