Was able to get seated quickly and a very popular spot. Our server was quick to get our drink order while we reviewed the menu. Lots of great dishes listed but we went for some traditional dishes. Definitely a great place for pastries, none of us were coffee drinkers. The food was mid as in things weren't very melted together inside the burritos- my over easy eggs were slightly overcooked, but for the price I truly thought it was great bang for your buck, and the service was super fast so we could get our day started! We made it in for breakfast on the final day they were open this year. While the front case was empty and they were out of a few other things, they had everything we were wanting to get. We all got omelettes, and they were large and full of toppings. My 'all the meats' omelette actually had a little too much meat. My wife had the same view about the amount of spinach in her veggie omelette. Hash browns were good, as were the biscuits and toast. Coffee was delicious, and service was prompt and friendly. And you can't go wrong with that logo. We'd definitely go again. read more

Service was ok. Nothing too memorable but I don't remember it being bad. The reason I will not return... was the mold in our pastries. Somebody hyped up the donuts to me, even though they honestly looked crusty and old, I still took a chance. Sure wish I didn't, as I was eating my maple bar I realized it had custard. I hate custard, so I was trying to eat around it, when I discovered a big green piece of mold right under the maple frosting. My mom then threw her donut away & my cousin also found mold in her apple fritter. Maybe the donuts are good fresh... but selling old donuts that are literally moldy?? Come on. I would probably be a little less concerned, but I'm currently pregnant & more paranoid of that type of thing in general. Wish I could recommend it but this was my first experience and the stomach aches we had after, I cannot in good conscience ever return. I see a response, I am not sure how to reply. I was saying this was my first experience, the service was not bad, but nothing too memorable. it was the pastries for us that ruined it. Maybe it was from the fryer, but it was bright blue/ green like you see on bread & 2/3 of us were sick after eating them. The reason there was no conversation is we got our food to go & took our pastries to sylvan lake to eat. And i don't live in Custer. The donuts here are amazing! Had the donuts a couples times and they have some donuts as big as your head! Our group also tried the brownies, berry cake, breakfast sandwiches and lattes. Brownies reminded them of their grandmothers. Breakfast sandwiches are make on homemade rolls. This was a split between the group as some like toasted bagels or bread but the roll came soft and some loved that fresh bread feel. Coffee was standard nothing to write home about. Everyone was very nice and it was busy so once you ordered you just stood off to the side to provide more space for the new people coming in. Charging at the nearby Tesla Supercharger, we walked the four blocks to Baker's Bakery to get breakfast. They had only been open for 10 minutes and the place was over half full. We were seated in the back room by a woman who seemed bothered to be working there. Fortunately, our server Lauren saved the day with a warm greeting and awesome service. My wife ordered the Avocado toast while I got the large frosted cinnamon roll with a side of bacon. I know sounds a little weird. My wife's toast was good. The eggs were well prepared, the avocado expertly smashed but the sourdough toast could have been served warmer. My cinnamon roll was yummy.
