We had a large pepperoni pizza. The price is a little high, but I've come to expect that when going to touristy places. The service was prompt. The pizza was ok. It hit the spot.

No big deal because we were looking to take our food to go anyway. We ordered two pizzas and grabbed a few bottles of sodas. Pizza was $20 a pie. I could've went to Walmart and grabbed 3 frozen pies for the price and they would've tasted 100 times better. When our order was ready they handed us one box and claimed we didn't order two. At that point we were done with this place, even though we were all hungry. We grabbed our one pie and left. If this pizza isn't from a box they need some serious help. Honesty, Chuck E. Cheese makes better pizza. Be smarter than me and grab food early. Things close early in Keystone and surrounding towns.

Why the $4 charge on this receipt you ask? For parties of 4 or more, they charge a 10% surcharge. Even for takeout. Classless.

Even after charging you a 'Party of 4 or More' surcharge', they have a tip jar at the register and EVERY table. Classless.

A $20 'All Meat' pizza. Pretty much nothing more than a sausage pizza.

We were seated promptly, but I cannot say the same about the waiter service. We waited for ten minutes before someone finally came up to our table to take our order. No greeting, no apology for the wait, just "You ready to order?". I told the waiter yes, but can we get something to drink first? We put in our drink orders and waited another 5 minutes. We then decided to walk out. Not sure how the food is, but the service sucked. So glad we walked out because we found a even better place called Big Time Pizza which was about a 7 minute walk away down the street.

After driving back from seeing the light show at the Crazy Horse Memorial we were starving. This was the only place in town that was actually still open. Being the only option we had we went with it. When we walked in we saw a line for the ice cream/to go pizza, but no one to tell us about seating. A line quickly formed behind us of people looking to be seated. The guy working the ice cream counter was little help in expediting someone to the floor. Someone finally came out and she seemed more annoyed that they had customers than happy to have people in the off season. We ordered the David Bowie (I think that is what it was called) and the pizza was good. It was sort of a step above Dominos but not quite fancy pizzeria level. I appreciated that they really seemed to be pushing themselves, but they weren't quite on par with the places they are trying to be like. Still I would give them a solid B for the pizza. The decor was also sort of a mishmash of weird and dated things. It felt like a strong disconnect between what the menu was trying to portray the place as vs what it actually was. A little interior work might help make the place feel more modern and welcoming. I get that Keystone isn't a happening place, but this has a lot of potential if it just put a little more work in.

Although the space is cozy, it offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor area providing some great views. We visited with a group of seven, and despite the restaurant being busy, our order was taken quickly. The service was excellent--our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone in our group was well taken care of throughout our visit. After placing our orders, we grabbed our drinks from the fountain and settled in to enjoy lunch. One highlight that deserves special mention is their house-made root beer. If you're a root beer fan, you're in for a treat. My brother Luis absolutely loved it and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and full of interesting items available for purchase. The food was equally impressive. The cheese curds and jalapeño poppers were delicious appetizers, and the burger was cooked perfectly. The home fries tasted fresh and homemade, adding a nice touch to the meal. One thing to note is that the restaurant does not have its own restroom. If needed, you'll have to use the public restroom located nearby along the same strip. However, this was only a minor inconvenience and did not take away from our overall experience. What stood out most was the son of the ownership team, who was working the floor during our visit. He was approachable, professional, and genuinely cared about providing great service to every customer who walked through the door. Overall, our visit was quick, enjoyable, and memorable. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Halley's West for a buffalo burger and a glass of their homemade root beer. It's a wonderful local spot with great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. On to the next adventure--and don't forget to tip your servers!
