Actually the BEST PIZZA I have ever had and I've traveled 35 states. The crust is perfectly crunchy, soooo much toppings (I had the Hawaiian with Cashew) cooked perfectly and priced affordable! There is seating outdoors as well but it was too windy to sit out there. I also left my baseball cap there and called them one minute before they closed and was told they couldn't find it, which was really disturbing to me cause I loved my hat. About five minutes later I get a voicemail saying that they did find it. It had been put where they don't usually put Lost and found things, so appreciated them doing that. Was at the Custer Visitor Center asking for a place to eat and Mary Beth recommended this restaurant so we came to try it out. Walked in and saw sports stuff everywhere on the walls from Ali to great baseball players, basketball players like Magic , Bird, Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth and much more, and it appears the owner is a K.C. Chiefs fan. One orders the pizza at the counter, is given a number and the pizza brought to your table when ready and didn't take too long and is handmade when ordered. In the town of Hermosa, South Dakota there are not many restaurant options near our RV park, so when I yelped for pizza, Lintz Bros Pizza appeared with great reviews. We ordered a large pepperoni, mushroom, bacon pizza, wings, and cinnamon sugar bread bites. All the toppings were baked underneath the cheese, which was different for me, but still so delicious. The wings were lightly coated with hot sauce and are more grilled versus fried, but still good. I was not a fan of the cinnamon sugar bread bites, they seemed like they needed more frosting because it was more dry bread then actual frosting or cinnamon tasting. Lintz Bro's is a nice family friendly restaurant. The pizza we ordered was a large regular crust with olives, mushrooms and roasted red peppers. Toppings were sparse. Lintz is essentially higher end chain pizza, similar to Papa John's or Domino's. In fact, Lintz pizza is virtually identical to Cruizzers pizza in Keystone. It's a thick midwestern style crust. We were pleasantly surprised that the sauce had a more herby flavor unlike most pizza's in the Hills, with the exception of Mangiamo, which has one of the best sauces I've ever had. This place was highly recommended by a ranger in Custer State Park. It was right outside the west entrance near Hermosa which was conveniently located by our campsite at Heartland RV Park. After our wonderful visit at the park, we called and placed an order and within 20 minutes, our pizzas was ready for pick up. We ordered basically a supreme as well as a Hawaiian (without the nuts, which was an option , I wasn't feeling adventurous that day so we opted out). Talk about location! This is one of 2 restaurants for miles! There are tourists all over in RV parks, riding by to Mt. Rushmore, Custer.... New building, very clean. We came by on our way back from Custer Park. We ordered the chicken bacon pesto pizza thin crust and the garlic barbecue wings. We really liked the pizza but the wings not so much. They were baked but once you put the sauce on them they became a mess, very hard to eat. We should have gotten the sauce on the side for dipping.
