This is a medium to large sized bar/restaurant in the area with many of the expected items on the menu. The pizza is great. I am told the dinner specials make this a really great place to go. I love the chicken parmasean sub. Its huge, with fresh bread made there. I was there at opening on the weekend. Not a large crowd there maybe 5 tables. The server was very attentive. Went back last night for the Parm Night and sat at the bar - same two bartenders as last time - they were phenomenal - we never waited for anything, they made sure everyone had what they needed, they were fast and got refills for people and were just fabulous. I've never ordered a pizza from Pizza Gram, but I've had the chicken cacciatore and the Philly cheesesteak sub from Pizza Gram. Like many places in the Capital Region, they do not skimp on the serving size. The cheesesteak is huge, and the cheese seems to be mixed in with the steak, making the cheesesteak somewhat sloppy to eat, but still tasty to enjoy. read more

One of our favorite places. Clean, good staff, quality food. Nothing too fancy, just good pizza and dinners at a fair price. Can be pretty busy at times but have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. Decent selection of beers on tap as well. read more

So upset. I grew up going to Pizza Gram due to my family living in the area. Tonight, I was so excited to finally bring my boyfriend out here (35 minute drive for us now), and I raved about the food and service the whole car ride..... I should've kept my mouth closed. We got sat right next to the door, okay it's a table, I didn't want to wait for a bigger table, that was okay. Our waitress took TEN minutes to even approach us for a drink order (she had four tables, one of which was done and had their check). We asked her for a draft beer menu, states there was none and said the three she could remember off the top of her head, alright, we'll go with one of the three. She came back to take our order, I ordered garlic parm wings and eggplant parm, she walked away before my boyfriend even put in his order (assuming she thought that our appetizer was his meal- but I specified that was our appetizer)... anyways, came back with a LIMP salad, seriously threw pieces of lettuce. I asked for bread, she came back with it but with no butter lol. My boyfriends beer became empty and our waitress was nowhere to be found from our salad/soup being dropped, to our appetizer coming out 40 minutes later, so my boyfriend went up to the bar for a new drink. The bartender looked at him THREE times, didn't even give him the typical "I'll be right with you", so he walked back to our table after five minutes of being ignored from the bartender just chatting with a guest. Alright, so now I'm getting really annoyed, I've been in this business awhile (waitress, expo, bartender, host, I get it) I understand all aspects, but when you have three tables (2 2 tops, 1 6 top) and they're all content, you can give subpar service to all!! A table came in thirty minutes after us, they were sat, I watched her greet them with bread, a smile, and an introduction! Surprise! We got none of that. We got our appetizer after 40 minutes, I watched that table that was sat thirty minutes after us get their app TWO minutes after ours!! Then, our entrees came out three minutes after our app was dropped, alright then!! This same table near us, got their full dinners a few minutes after us, looked almost identical to our dinners. We took two bites and packed it all up to go home to eat because at least there we can wait on ourselves and do the same damn thing. Don't get me wrong, the food here is BEYOND delicious, I have never had a bad meal, but I don't know if I'll come back any time soon though, maybe take out, but dining in? I'll pass. When I do come, I rack up a hefty bill between food and drinks and I've always received wonderful service, I'm just upset I spoke so highly of Pizza Gram lately and it was a let down beyond words tonight :( read more

Reporting a very disappointing experience. Husband and I went for dinner. This restaurant is local to us, we visit frequently and always like the food. Tonight was different. Husband ordered the lasagna - it was fabulous! I was not feeling like red sauce so I ordered the veal franchaise - it came in a lemon sauce with pasta or potato and vegetables. I wanted the pasta, but again was not feeling like red sauce and also thought the red sauce would not go with and be weird with the lemon sauce on my veal. I asked the server if I could just have some garlic and olive oil on my pasta. She said "sure". Meal arrived...veal is delicious. The pasta was very disappointing. It had a sprinkle of garlic powder (not fresh garlic) on it and was literally floating in a huge puddle of oil. It did not look or taste like olive oil - certainly not extra virgin...I suspect it was some kind of vegetable oil. I didn't complain - it was the side dish and the rest of the meal was delicious. Now the bill comes, when I discover I am charged a $4 upcharge for the side of pasta floating in oil with a sprinkle of garlic powder!! It was like they were punishing me for not having red sauce. I feel like if there was going to be a $4 up charge for them to make my side dish super gross, the server should have told me about that charge when I ordered it. read more

ok...sister and I stopped in for a meatball sub, got there just before 7pm tonight. place was packed, families with several small children surrounding us. by 7:30, our waitress assured us our meatball subs would arrive shortly. My friends and I ordered 4 subs, and each was delivered on moldy bread. When we called to inform, the manager didn't believe us, saying that they make their bread fresh everyday. After some argument, he agreed to make us 4 new subs, but only on the condition that we gave the original 4 back (as if we were going to keep them? They were moldy!). Just left there and will never go back!!! We have been frequent customers of Pizza Gram for a long time. Pizza is good and the restaurant is very nice looking. However, I have been in the food business for several years and their customer service is terrible! The waitresses, while very friendly, do not get trained properly to explain menu items when asked. The sauce is terrible as we found out tonight. This is also not a deal breaker. We just wouldn't have ordered their marinara again. When we told the waitress we didn't care for it, she nicely took it back and we asked for a pasta from their "pasta night" choices and asked for vodka sauce instead. She did NOT tell us vodka sauce wasn't an option. She asked if we wanted chicken in it. We asked if that was included and she said "yes"! When we got the bill that pasta with chicken and vodka sauce was $20!!! The vodka sauce was ok but definitely from a jar just like that aweful sauce! When we asked to speak to the manager the woman came over and when we explained everything and said that we expected the "pasta night special" and that no pasta dish was worth $20 especially since we specifically tole the waitress that's what we wanted, she got annoyed and walked away. Then a man, who I assume was the owner, came over from being at the bar watching Monday night football. I explained the story to him because my boyfriend was getting annoyed, and he proceeded to come off as threatening to him! Telling him "don't even, don't even!" My boyfriend said "don't even what?" He said in a threatening tone as he stood over our table " don't even start saying that you're not paying for something in here!" He then walked away and went back to the bar!!! We signed the check and left! BAD BUSINESS!! First of all, as a woman who has been in the business, if you have a dissatisfied customer, you talk to them with respect! You try to make it right whether it be taking money off, coupon for complimentary food item, whatever!! And most of all you apologize for the miscommunication of the waitress and You Never Stand Over. A Customer in your football jersey after leaving the bar and use a threatening tone in front of your other customers!! Have been a resident of Guilderland my entire life. Stop at this place a couple times a week for food and drinks. The hired help is very good, complained about my LARGE antipasto to go when it was brought up. $14 for the LARGE one compared to $8 for the regular. Server asked the owner when it seemed quite light. We eat here and order pizza all the time! Very family friendly!! We love taking our family here when they are in town. When my child was a baby, it was a great place to bring her. The meals are huge, salads are really good, and they have a decent selection of wine. Recently we had out-of-town family come for a Xmas celebration and we ordered our dinner from them to eat here at home and they absolutely loved it! Drove by many times and finally decided to give it a try! The food was great, highly recommend their antipasto and Pizza. Plenty of salad to share as the portion was huge, the 8 cut had a good amount of cheese and toppings! I'd eat their food again, BUT I would not dine in. Our waitress was awful...no personality, she was very short with us, took forever to get another round of drinks, but the restaurant did not seem busy. Other staff members seemed miserable, not many smiles and they all kept checking their phones in the dining room as the customers watched. Appearance wise, many of them were not very "put together", and one was covered in tattoos. Maybe they need new management or to be retrained? Oh well, next time we will order to go! read more

I give the one star for delivery only. The food is amazing but only if you eat it there. It's like they wish they didn't deliver so therefor they don't care how your food gets to you. It's a lot of food and not overly expensive and the clientele reflect that. Two of us have eaten at the bar several times and had a good experience. The table part of the restaurant however seems to need some process improvement. Consistently understaffed for the busy nights which means the tables don't turn over, the kitchen gets backed up and the wait can be very long for a table and at the table for your food. Last night we arrived at 5 for a table of 5 and were first on the wait list and were told 20 minutes by the waitress playing hostess. 45 minutes later we were told to wait 20 more minutes because the table she was planning to give us wasn't leaving. Meanwhile they had reserved tables sitting empty because they were set aside so early. We left without eating but suggest they invest in some training for the hostess on greeting people, seating people and keeping reservations as well add some wait and kitchen staff to keep things moving. The extra money spent on that will come back because they will serve more people. They have many walk outs that they could easily accommodate. read more

PARM NIGHT IS THE BEST!!! Have been several times for parm night on Wednesdays, and always get a great meal at a great price!! For about $8 (price may have gone up a little recently, though), you get a salad with your choice of dressing (blue cheese is great!!), bread and butter, a HUGE piece of Chicken, breaded and topped with sauce and mozzarella, ( I believe Veal and Eggplant are also available, but I've always gotten chicken) and a side of pasta with sauce. We always get at least 2 meals out of every one we order. Only drawback is that the special price is only on dine-in....you can't get the deal if you order the meal for take-out. read more

I give NO stars to this place. The service used to be wonderful. The delivery staff are awful. They forget items that you order and then they don't bring them back to you until they have more orders in the area. An example, ordered two subs with dressing on the side, an order of boneless wings, chicken tenders, fries and a calzone. Driver forgot the dressing for the subs. Called and the person who answered the phone said they would be right back with my dressing. After an HOUR, that's right an HOUR I finally got the dressing. People who answered the phone were rude to me and even the manager said he wouldn't have the driver come back out just for dressing. What the heck????? He forgot it, not me.
