We weren't ordering out for a couple years ! So 6 months ago we ordered again The quality was mediocre Pizza was thick crusted? Very little toppings Wings we're bland! So fast forward it to To this past Saturday We wanted to give what used to be our favorite place again La Famiglia Pizza I even asked is the pizza still thin crusted? They said absolutely! Perfect I said So when we received our order The pizza looked horrible Thick crusted No flavor ! The wings were small like Party wings Not jumbo like the menu says! I understand since Covid prices have went up Wing prices are actually down to pre Covid prices But to screw around with the quality of a once great pizza and wings is beyond me! We will never order from here again!

Enjoyable take out cheese pizza

An A-OK little local pizzeria, great to stop by and grab a pie or a few slices. They have thin crust, ny style slices. I picked up a large 12 cut, cheese pizza and it was $14. The pizza was good, crust was a little bland but I enjoyed the sauce and cheese. The crust was nice and crispy and had some nice browned spots on the crust and on the bottom. I did kinda wish it was a little more well done, but regardless, it was good. Service was speedy. I ordered it and picked it up in my way home, it was ready in about 15 minutes. The pizza disappeared quickly and we all agreed it was good. This location is a little far for it to be a regular stop but it was worth grabbing when going past.

An amazing Pizza A++++++

Swear on fantastic pizza. The place smelled like heaven in pizza form! If you are in the area and haven't tried this pizza, you are failing at eating good pizza. The team running the place were great. You can buy pizza by the slice here or a whole pie! Stop reading get the damn pizza already!

Lunch deal, very delicious, reasonably priced. Maybe 15 choices!

Pretty delicious for lunch. A slice of tomato and a slice of cheese with can of pop- $6.75. Big slices! Lots of cheese. Seating for lunch. Good parking. Probably 15 choices of flavors. Yum.

La Famiglia has been our go to pizza spot for a number of years. It is a solid pizza and there selection of specialty pizzas is good. I've had a number of the specialty pizzas over the years, and a few of my favorites are The Works, Seafood, and the Philly Cheesesteak. All of the pizzas have very good flavor and are quite enjoyable.

Shrimp parm with linguini

I was craving shrimp parmigiana today and that is surprisingly hard to find around here so I was happy to see it in La Famiglias menu. I ordered take our, shrimp parm dinner ( this comes with pasta, bread, and salad), a half eggplant parm sub, and an order of Buffalo wings, hot. Started with a wing, pretty good and saucy as I requested. The eggplant parm sub is good too- not a ton of eggplant on it but nice sauce and not overly breaded- the cheese stuck to the wax paper it was wrapped in so maybe not do that. It's the shrimp parm dinner that was less than I'd hoped for. First of all it wasn't made with breaded fried shrimp. It was pasta and sauce with boiled (?) shrimp and then baked with mozzarella; the shrimp had tails on so had to be really careful to cut those off. I'm all for trying to eat healthier but for me shrimp parm isn't right unless it's breaded fried shrimp. Maybe it's a regional thing but since you can barely find it here I doubt it. Salad was a basic dude salad, very fresh and the house made balsamic is really good. The folks there were really nice when I picked it up and I expect I'll be back but only for wings, subs, and to try the pizza.

Probably the best pizza in Albany, at least the dough anyway. The toppings and cheese are standard for Albany.

Rosanna's -- A Genuine Gem That Deserves Every Star There…read moreare restaurants you visit and forget, and then there are restaurants that stay with you long after the last bite. Rosanna's is firmly in the second category -- and after an exceptional dinner that left both of us completely satisfied and already planning our return visit, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the tone for the entire evening. Warm, inviting and thoughtfully designed, Rosanna's strikes that rare balance between intimate and lively -- the kind of space that feels equally suited for a romantic dinner for two or a celebratory night out with people you love. The lighting is soft without being dim, the energy is buzzing without being overwhelming, and every detail of the room communicates that this is a place that genuinely cares about the experience it creates for its guests. The service matched the atmosphere perfectly. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu -- not in a rehearsed, corporate way but in the way that only happens when staff actually love where they work and believe in what they're serving. Questions were answered with confidence and warmth, dietary considerations were handled graciously and without any fuss, and the pacing of the meal felt exactly right. Not rushed, not forgotten -- just perfectly timed. It is the kind of service that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table to turn over. Now the food -- where do we even begin. We started with the Shrimp Balls and they were an immediate knockout. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented and gone far too quickly. The arugula dip alongside them was bright and fresh -- a genuinely clever pairing that elevated what could have been a simple appetizer into something memorable. This dish alone would be worth coming back for. For mains we ordered the Wild Mushroom Risotto -- elevated with a grilled shrimp skewer addition that turned an already outstanding dish into a complete and deeply satisfying meal. The risotto was everything a great risotto should be -- creamy without being heavy, deeply savory with layers of earthy mushroom flavor, finished beautifully with truffled pecorino that added just the right amount of richness. The shrimp skewer on top was perfectly grilled, plump and fresh -- a brilliant pairing with the earthiness of the mushrooms. Our dining companion ordered the Boneless Beef Short Ribs which arrived tender, deeply flavorful and beautifully plated -- the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes on the first bite. What makes Rosanna's truly special is that everything works together -- the room, the service, the food and the overall feeling of being genuinely well taken care of. This is not a restaurant that relies on one strong element to carry the others. Every component earns its place. Whether you are celebrating something special, treating someone you love or simply in search of a great dinner in wonderful company -- Rosanna's delivers on every level. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation. You will not regret it. And the pellegrino soda was great I got the blood orange! And we took the olive oil orange cake to go yum!

For context, I rate products and businesses on a simple scale: 5 stars means I love it, 4 stars…read moremeans I like it, 3 stars is okay, 2 stars means I didn't like it, and 1 star means I hated it or think it's unsafe. We went to Delmonico's Italian Steakhouse last weekend with a party of 10. Our group meets up once a month and tries a new place each time. I had been here once before over the summer and had a great experience then. That time we were seated in one of the alcove style rooms. It is not fully private but it definitely feels like your own space, and it added a lot to the atmosphere. The food and service were excellent on that visit, and the birthday person in our group loved the theming of the room. This time we were supposed to be seated in the Sinatra room. After our reservation time passed, the hostess came over and explained they had made a mistake with the room booking and it was not available. They moved us to a large table in the main dining area and offered us four appetizers on the house to make up for it. That immediately smoothed things over, and no one in our group had any issues after that. Mistakes happen, it is how a place handles them that matters, and they handled this very well. The main dining area has a nice ambience, but it is a bit noisy compared to the alcove spaces. Food wise, we had a wide range, steaks, chicken, veal, and some gluten free options. Most of the group had alcoholic drinks, while a few of us stuck with soda and water. One friend said the cola he got at the bar while we waited was flat and he skipped it after that. I tried a soda at the table and mine was fine. He later had a lemon lime soda, not sure if it was 7Up or Starry, and had no complaints, so it is possible they changed out the CO2 in between. Service really stood out. It is not easy to manage a table of 10, but our waitress was outstanding and very friendly. We were served in a timely manner, and several people commented on both the portion sizes and the quality of the meals. A few in our group even said they felt the pricing was a bargain for what you get. Overall, we will definitely be back. Scheduling errors and things out of the staff's control happen anywhere, but many places either do not apologize or do nothing to fix it. Here, they did both, and their solution was more than generous. Kudos to them. 4 stars.

We usually love this place but the last visit was a disaster!…read more First we had a reservation and showed up on time - got to the table up by the bar in one of the cubby's Got drinks so far so good. Then manager came over and said he had to move us not sure of the issue but he comped our appetizers - we were sat at a small booth and we are 4 tall larger people it was pretty tight and we were seated below the cappuccino maker causing frothed milk to spray down towards us - they need to build a wall there - wish I had a video to show y'all. Then the food... 2 of us ordered filet mignon it came out burnt and over done it looked like a burnt hamburger very thin (not the way a medium and medium rare filet should be obviously) Who let that even leave the kitchen! The waitress noticed right away and sent them back - manager came over and said oh sorry it depends on who's in the kitchen - what? Wow blew our minds -- ok so the next one came out still black but cooked a bit better - no filet should be black they apparently smooched it on a grill ugh! Needlesstosay, we did not eat it All Other friend had a steak and it was tough Not good

Our waiter made sure to take care of us and was helpful without being intrusive. When one of my friends spilled her wine he helped her clean up and replaced the wine. I had the lunch portion of pasta bolognese. It was just enough. Ground beef and pork mixed with a well balanced sauce. One of my friends had fig and prosciutto pizza. I tried a slice and it was very sweet with lots of creamy cheese flavor and a lot of arugula on top. My other companions had full portions of pasta dishes and seemed to enjoy them. We shared Arancini as an appetizer. That was my favorite bite of the night! As the waiter said they were addictive with smoked mozzarella and a good marinara to dip them in. We were served average Italian bread with olive oil pesto dip to start. The cocktail specials were very impressive . I ordered a seasonal maple bourbon drink. It was nicely bitter with touches of warm sweetness from the maple and orange slice. A nice festive experience. One of the owners/managers came over to see if we were enjoying ourselves. They aren't reinventing the wheel here but the food we had was tasty. It's not inexpensive but we had a good time.

We had higher expectations for our main Italian dishes, based on the previous reviews we read.
