Service was horrible- server had patio and first half of inside dining . Service EXTREMELY SLOW. Server was rude - didn't introduce herself and said we had to order apps and entrees at the same time. This is not about the food; it is about taking advantage of a young person. My son recently got his driver's license, so we let him go to pick up our pizzas. When he got there, the person behind the counter, told him he needed to add a tip. We never told him that you don't tip when it's takeout, only delivery. We never thought anyone would insist on a tip for takeout! My son used his tip calculator on the phone and added $12.00. When my son asked for a copy of the receipt, he was refused, so we have nothing to prove it was a tip that brought our order of three small pizzas to over $70.00!!! It doesn't matter how good the food is, anyone who thinks it's okay to manipulate a young person will never have our business again!!!!! read more

I ordered a Stromboli and an antipasto salad. The meat and cheese portions on the salad were generous The Stromboli was particularly impressive as it was not greasy like many places. It had good flavor and was generous in size. The marinara sauce provided for dipping was a bit watery in my opinion and did not have as much flavor as I would have liked but it would not prevent me from ordering this again. read more

This was our first time ordering delivery from this pizzeria, and we enjoyed the food. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, ten buffalo wings, garlic knots and a 2 liter soda. The food was delivered in a reasonable time and was still hot. The pizza was very good and flavorful. The wings were spicy and fresh. The only issue were the garlic knots, it was a bit tough. I ordered the 14" 2 topping pizza, I felt that it was honestly a little small...I did see another review saying that, but I decided to try it anyway so I guess that is my fault. The pizza tasted good, not the best I ever had, but it was worth the $8.99, I just wish they were honest about the size. Anyway, I also ordered boneless wings which were delicious and garlic knots, again not the best, but good enough. All in all it was a good dinner. I have to say the prices were pretty fair, although I am curious if I could fine better pizza in the area. (As a Long Islander I can be a tough reviewer for pizza). This isn't the place for me. Or my kids. Or my pizza loving friends. Really I knew that from the moment I looked at the pies on display at the front counter. They looked lifeless, and the toppings looked both industrially produced and sparsely applied. The end crusts had little rise. Rings of pepperoni lay completely flat on top of the cheese, as if they weren't cooked with the pie. And to my son's disappointment, there was no sausage pie from which slices could be served. Yes, we were here for slices. I love slices, and I love how the second trip to the oven crisps the bottom crust. Cheese slices are $2 and slices with toppings are $2.50. But that information is going to do you no good, because you will heed my warning and avoid these slices. The bottom crust is very light, and there are the tell tale hatch marks of a pizza that's been cooked on a screen instead of the oven floor. The end crust was lacking in flavor, and the entire slice was the epitome of mediocre. One saving grace is that the cheese on the top was allowed to get nicely burnished. If I hadn't seen the fellow behind the counter hand stretching dough, I would have assumed these pizzas came from a frozen pre-formed crust. It's not unusual for a shop to make pies differently than it makes its slices. Maybe the pies here are better? I don't know. What I do know is that if it's slices that you seek, you will want to look elsewhere. read more

Milano`s reminds me of the pizza joints in Brooklyn when I was young. You knew everyone in the business. And they were all like friends. Good business sense. The Pizza is always consistent in its being delicious and more than enough to eat. Stromboli is highly recommended. One of few pizza places smart enough to carry Pepsi AND in 2 liters. Pricing is excellent. Other pizza places are charging too much. Deserts are available. My favorite is the cheesecake. Always fresh. In other places, it`s either tasting like the fridge or stale in some other way. The delivery! Fast for me! In January they came in a snow storm! Always the same few people, too. I stopped in at Milano Pizza recently for takeout. I was going to order some pizza slices ($2 cheese/$2.50 with toppings), which there was a decent selection to choose from (needed to be reheated). However, since it was Saturday, I went with the Chicken Parmigiana Dinner Daily Special (priced at $7.95 plus tax before 4PM, regular price $10.95) which included salad and bread. The food was all set in about 15 minutes after ordering. The baked Chicken Parm Dinner came in a round foil container which consisted of cut up pieces of breaded chicken cutlet over al dente ziti & crushed tomato sauce, topped with melted mozzarella cheese. The side salad was fresh, which had crisp romaine lettuce, tomato slices, black olives, green peppers, cucumber, red onions, & a tangy Italian dressing on the side. The half loaf of Italian bread was soft and crusty. In all, the good amount of food I had tasted pretty good and the price was very reasonable for what I got. On my next visit, I will try the pizza, but I will stick to ordering a fresh baked whole pie instead of ordering slices. read more

Unfortunately I ordered the same today and it wasn't even close. I spoke to the owner and he said he would take $3.00 of on my next order. Why would I order again if it's not consistent. I came in here after eating two disappointing slices of pizza from a joint two doors down called. DC's Pizza. I walked into Milano's and was told they sell salads and gyros, so feeling the need for some roughage, I decided to order a salad platter with gyro on top (what I usually order at home from a Halal truck in NYC). I was told they only serve chicken or beef gyro meat. (No lamb gyro?). I opted for chicken. Instead of making one dish, they provided a salad tray, and a tray with chicken gyros that came with the pita and veggies. No biggie in terms of not creating one Halal dish. The total was about $7.80 (cheap). The salad was really big, which leads me to believe that their listed salad dishes (house. greek, crispy salad, buffalo, and Caesar) are equally huge. I love "big" salads and couldn't finish my portion. The chicken gyro wasn't very good - the supposed pita was very thin and hard/dtale along the edges, and the chicken had very little taste. I'm guessing the pita was sitting in the fridge for a while. I also had to wait 15 minutes to be served, despite being the only person in the restaurant. I'm giving this place a four-star rating on the salad alone and the young lady who took my order (very engaging and pleasant). It's not often that you receive a salad of that quality - crisp romaine, olives, feta cheese (packaged), cucumbers, and tomatoes. The customer service is horrible. Called in an order for Jalapeño poppers and they had no sour cream so we decided to cancel the order and get them elsewhere. Called back literally 3 minutes later and they refused to cancel the order stating they had made the food already although they initially quoted 45 mins - 1 hour delivery time. Pizza was delicious! I'm glad I found good pizza around here on my first try. Really flavorful. I would say it's pretty pricy but it's worth it. I didn't really understand the garlic parm wings, it just was plain chicken wings with some garlic powder. No oil or parm or anything. Even eating lukewarm pizza, it was delicious and enjoyed by all. And the house salad wasn't just shredded iceberg lettuce; rather, it was crispy romaine with tomatoes, black olives, green pepper and onions. Also a treat. I would heartily recommend Milano.
