Located near the D train this pizza place is open late. When you're heading home from a night out this is a great place to get something to fill your empty belly. The pizza is consistently good. I have ordered some of their heros and pasta dishes which are tasty too. read more

Been going since I was in junior high (I just graduated college). I'll admit the quality of the pizzas have gotten downhill a bit. Nevertheless, still great. Being open late (til 2PM i think), they are really a lifesaver for late night munchies. Back in the day, I used to get off the train and pick up a slice before heading home. Now I do the same when I get off work or get out late from hanging out with friends. Not a big fan of their delivery though, some of them are really rude people. read more

Best walk in pizza in the bay ridge area (in my humble opinion). I live in Pennsylvania and this is stop no. 1 when I come to NY. Crunchy thin crust, and a sauce/cheese ratio that's neat, makes for the perfect non-gourmet pizza slice. Open late every day. Pizza made fresh most of the time and its very local to the train station and buses. Cheese melts off the pizza which is great and love and they make it crispy especially the crust. $3.25 for a slice and can of soda. The pizza here, I must admit, is pretty good. The prices seem to be higher everytime I come here, or maybe it's just me. I've tried the chicken roll, eggplant roll, and meatball roll here and it is pretty tasty. They don't jip you on the meat, so that's good. The only thing that bothers me is the fricking fatass guy who works there. He's pretty old. I don't get great service there from him. I always went to Pizza Den growing up. This pizza spot is an original and have great slices. Their cheese and margarita slices are my favorite. This place is open till really late at night too so perfect for munchies or drunchies! It's kind of dirty and the workers don't use glove when handling with money and uses the same hands to handle the pizza they serve which doesn't really bother me. read more

Probably the best pizza place in an area full of good pizza joints. Bk baby! I would give it a 5 except for the slight inconsistency. After 100 times, I figured it out. I'd the fat dude is there the pizza is absolutely amazing - maybe the best in ny, or the world. If he's not there, it's still good, but not legendary. The difference is in the quantity of cheese. Anwyay, this place is awesome. The pizza is cheezy and delicious and you can't go wrong with the sandwiches either. I have never in my life made a yelp review. Until now. I got pizza from this establishment about 3 days ago and since then I haven't stopped feeling nauseous, cold sweats, fever, fatigue, and a list of other things that come along with food poisoning. I didn't think it was possible to get so sick off a few slices of pizza but in retrospect I've had no appetite since that day so by process of elimination I can only conclude this establishment is the reason of my misery. Please care about your customers more than to be serving them whatever it is you're serving. For someone like a small child or an elder I can only imagine how severe their symptoms would be. Damn good pizza! Totally underated Pizza place in Brooklyn, you never here anybody talk about it. Everytime I go here the pizza is always good, Heros are good and calzones are great. The only knock I give it....is the Mexican kitchen guys always smirk at you and make side comments in Spanish they think you can't understand. Very delicious and convenient pizzeria! I highly reccommend this place over the other 2 that are in the area simply because it tastes like authentic Brooklyn pizza (yes, grease is good on pizza.) My only concern is that the place is often really hectic and it's hard to hear sometimes when placing an order. But at least the pizza is of high quality so there are no real complaints there. WORST EXPIERENCE EVER THEY WILL DO MORE THEN SPIT IN YOUR FOOD!!!! I called pizza den hoping to get great food along with decent customer service. instead I was on hold for 10 min then hung up on and when i called back asking to place an order for delivery pizza dens employee yelled "WHY ARE YOU CALLING" i told him because I'm hungry and want food you had a poor connection and couldn't hear me. He then yelled YOU CANT HAVE FOOD!! The best pizza in Bensonhurst. A very unassuming place on 18th Ave. Pizza and sandwiches are excellent and well done. A popular place for transit workers, firemen and cops to eat . Their chicken rolls and rice balls rock! About the only negative thing I can say is not about the place itself, but the parking situation. It is almost impossible to park anywhere near it. So if you don`t mind doing a little walking, check it out. Amazing thing is that Bensonhurst, once a predominantly Italian American neighborhood really doesn`t have many good pizzarias left. read more

Very convenient location but unfortunately terrible quality of food! I ordered clam sauce pasta and was feeling sick until the next morning. Something was clearly wrong with the sauce. I know this might just have been bad luck. People leave many positive comments and I will try Pizza Den again in a couple of months to see if the quality gets better. The only place besides in the neighborhood where you can get a fresh slice of pizza. I've been eating Lenny's pizza since I grew in my first set of teeth and Everytime I go in there the pizza is old and hard or just not good anymore (over the last 10-15 times I went). I always thought Pizza Den was good but now it's all I have left in this part of town! If you go back enough, the guys behind the counter ask how you are. The fresh mozzarella slices are great (both the square and the round), which is great because most fresh mozzarella slices have no flavor. The regular slices here are always fresh and tasty. I recommend a slice with peppers, seeing as Pizza can be a nutritious snack other than its lacking of vitamin C content (made up for with the peppers). I can come anytime at day or night (they are open pretty late, 2 or 3am in the summertime) and I can get a slice that doesnt taste like its been sitting there all day. I don't like the cherry ices here because there are cherry chunks in it. But the rainbow is great, not sure if it's Ginos or another company but I love it. The only downside to this place is if a lady wants to sit at the counter and eat something quick, creepy guys will bother you. My advice is to go all the way to the end of the counter near the fridges. read more
