I did what any good tourist would do and that is order the truffle pasta and burrata. Let me say, the reviews are right, that burrata is never ending. I brought multiple lactaids and it made me savor every bite of this. The truffle pasta, for around 20 euros, was a legit steal. I mean the amount of truffles they shave on top alone is worth the money. The pasta is creamy and I love the noodles in it. I would come back to Paris just for this. My tips when coming here is a) try to get a reservation in advance. They do walk-ins but the line can get really long and you may not be on the terrace (which photos have made it seem absolutely stunning) and b) if you get an appetizer, share it with a friend. This place was terrible. Not worth the hype at all. Had reservations and when they finally seat us, we weren't even seated in the room that's advertised all over social media. There are 3 separate dining spaces. I didn't know that or I would have requested to be seated upstairs to at least get the aesthetic. Of course we went for the truffle pasta and yuck. Nothing too exciting about this place. The atmosphere is nice. Good music, lovely vibes. But the service was slow. We had a reservation and had to wait to sit when we arrived. Once seated, we sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come greet us to get our drinks. There were a lot of things on the menu that they said they ran out of which was disappointing. But we literally saw people get the food we wanted to order but they "didn't have anymore of." No one checked on us to refill drinks or ask if we liked the food. My friend and I reserved a table for tea time (which I recommend you do a few days ahead of time via their website) and we were amazed at how beautiful the interior is! Service was great! Staff was kind, friendly, and accommodating. (They all speak English for those who are concerned about that!) The food that we had during Tea Time was delicious! I guess our waiter was just a tad too laid back. He didn't put our order in, so we had to wait for a long time for the food and when it did come, he forgot one of the items and we just ended up cancelling it. And the complimentary bread came at the end after we asked for it. So kind of annoying. But the food was incredible. The truffle pasta was amazing. We got two pours of Italian wines to go with it. I highly recommend you make a reservation. This is one stop in Paris you will not forget! They are reasonably priced and always delicious! Let's start with the fact this place is very photogenic. We watched at least 10 to 15 people do a little photo shoot in the stairway that features a tree interesting photos and a panoramic window view. We quickly determined that the best way to get a table there is via a reservation. We made ours a week out for lunch and there was a line for the reservations. Worth the Hype! This is probably one of the most popular restaurants in Paris thanks to tiktok and instagram. I made reservations 1 month in advance for 7pm (their opening time). We got there about 25 minutes before opening- there were 2 lines, reservations and walk ups. Both the lines were crazy long already, even getting there 25 minutes early with reservations, we were the last table on the top floor to be seated- that's the floor with all the iconic pictures. Drinks were delicious, app was delicious, entrees were delicious. I got the truffle pasta and it was definitely one of my favorite meals in paris. Also, we saw the table next to us order the same appetizer multiples so, we got it too- it was bread with cheese, not sure what it was called. Getting a reservation for this place is dang near impossible, so we showed up to wait in the queue for "day of" tables which were counter only (which is upsetting considering the upper floors are the ones that you see on IG and whatnot). I'm so glad I knew of this aesthetically gorgeous restaurant. It was worth the trip to eat lunch here. It was nice and quiet, so no great people watching, but the decor is lovely and the food was delicious. I ordered a pizza and it was really good. The food came out quickly and the service was friendly. For dessert I tried their cheesecake and it was pretty darn yum. I can imagine it gets jam packed in here at night, so probably best to arrive earlier than normal and book ahead to be sure to get a table. I felt it was fairly reasonably priced, and based on how good the pizza and cheesecake was, I'd definitely come back again next time in Paris so I can try other items on the menu and come for dinner so we get a different vibe. obviously had to try this during my last trip to paris. it is THE place on social media when you look up paris restaurants, so take away from that what you will. being that i'm a truffle fan-girl, of course i had to come. made the reservations online, very easily. you can't specify which floor you want to be sat though. there are 3-4 floors that are all distinctly different, each looking like a different restaurant. the most coveted floor is the terrace top floor, which is light and airy, and looks like a garden. very picturesque. we were lucky enough to be sat on that floor. truffle pasta comes in a nice creamy sauce with bits of truffle and then shaved truffle on top. despite all those flecks, i would say the truffle is not over powering. the pasta was nice and al dente. but i did think the dish needed a bit more salt. the roasted cauliflower was tender and tasty. the margarita pizza had such a nice fluffy crust, and was my favorite dish. service is prompt and you can pay your bill through the QR code on the table, which makes it very convenient when you're ready to leave. read more
