Had a decent lunch at Loulou during my visit to Paris. It's a beautiful atmosphere, although we were seated inside because of the weather. The pasta was okay. I understand it's not Italy, but I had slightly higher hopes. The staff was kind and this is certainly a buzzing spot. The cocktails weren't our fav.

We had a great experience here. The restaurant is nice and cozy. The Truffle Pizza was Fantastic. Best white sauce pizza I've ever had. But it comes at the steep price of €50! But honestly.. when in... Paris.. I suppose it's not the time to pinch Pennies. The wine we had was great. The service was great and we had a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. Oh! The Pesto Pasta was fantastic. And the Pasta with Vodka was Sauce was nice and spicy. Definitely recommend coming here!!

We celebrated our friend's birthday here. It was awesome we had window seating with Eiffel tower view. Service was great, food was delicious! I would definitely come back here when I visit Paris again

We booked a reservation at LouLou after I read reviews about the spectacular view and atmosphere. There was definitely no spectacular view or atmosphere. There are two sides for the outdoor seating- one has a great view, the other is blocked from everything. We were seated on the side with the blocked view in a table so tight that the waiter had to move the table next to me so I could squeeze in (and I'm a tiny person to begin with). Someone else left a review here saying that you only get on the good side if you have Botox and high end clothing... I laughed when I read that, but that person is completely right. We watched groups of people approach the hostess and could basically guess which side they would be seated in based on their appearance. I want to point this out because after we were disappointed by the lack of view, we watched many others look totally disappointed as they were seated on the bad side. Most asked if they could be moved and the hostess would just say "no, sorry" with no explanation or any sympathy in her voice. So I'm hoping this review can save others from disappointment. The food was fine. Nothing spectacular, but decent enough. It can be expensive depending on what you order, but we got pasta dishes and actually found them pretty comparable in price to other restaurants we went to in the area. But we really only went for the view, and I ended up crammed in the back with a view of a tree and the large bar set up in the center (which is the main reason why one side has no view whatsoever), so definitely do NOT book if you just want the view/atmosphere. Oh and they definitely rushed us. The hostess sat us down and our waiter came over immediately to ask what we wanted to drink, and then seemed annoyed when we said we didn't know yet. We made sure to pace out our dinner, but if we didn't, they would have given us drinks, dinner, and dessert all in one hour. Not even sure why, as half the place was empty. All in all, not worth it. I would suggest dining somewhere else and just walking to the park at the louvre to get the spectacular view (the view is actually better right outside of LouLou seating anyway- there were tons of people just sitting on the grass).

This restaurant is absolutely adorable inside and out. I was hoping to sit outside but they seated us inside which was also fine but on a sunny day sit outside! we got the vodka pasta, the pesto pasta and the cucumber feta olive salad and all was SO good. It's well worth making a reservation for I'm still thinking about days later.

Food was amazing, service was incredible and view & ambiance were top notch! We had the zucchini flower, pistachio pasta, risotto and a delicious puff pastry desert. Everything was fantastic!

Ok I'm giving it a 4 but it could be a 3. Wife read about this spot and off we went. Weird entrance through the museum but there's another nicer way in. Free fall all when the doors open and we were second in line so I thought this was going to be easy. 5 or 6 table were seated before us because the other entrance is closer to the hostess desk. Get our table and waited........ for the waiter. He took our drinks and then took an order from the table next to us who sat a few minutes after us. They ate and left 30 minutes before we did. Dinner was over 2 hours. I'm assuming it's from the kitchen getting slammed by the instant opening. I ordered some mezcal special cocktail and my wife ordered a special margarita Both were delicious. Mine was excellent. We ordered the sea bass carpaccio and while we were waiting the waiter offered us the Vitello Tonnato that was a wrong order. Was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. (Plus 1 for the waiter.)The sea bass came 20 minutes later (minus 1) and was good not as good as the veal. Mains were Fettuccini Alfredo with Truffles. Delicious. Wife had the Veal Piccata came with creamy mashed potatoes. Both delicious and recommend. So the problem was we waited 30 minutes to get the check ( minus 1) Floor manager was a little aggressive clearing our table and should smile a little. So the food was great and the atmosphere was nice, staff was meh. Oh and the crowd was all over the place , people in sweats and some decked out and some good people watching.

LouLou was honestly a little bit disappointing. Before my trip to Paris, I heard so many good things from others and online. The reservation was hard to get, which got me even more excited. The view was great and it was in a beautiful location. The service was horrible. Very slow, and one of the servers actually took a few bites of food before serving it (at a different table), and they had to send it back. This is something I would never have expected from a. Restaurant of this caliber. The food was good, but not great. I had much better food at other places in Paris, and at a lower price tag. I enjoyed the pesto pasta the most, I would recommend trying that. I would recommend trying somewhere else before LouLou, not to mention it will be easier to get a table somewhere else. You can find better food and better service relatively easily in Paris.

Don't rely on Yelp to find excellent food in Paris. Do your own actual due diligence. LouLou... excellent restaurant near The Louvre. Might not be the most obvious location because you walk through a hall and then take an elevator to the actual restaurant. Very sophisticated vibe here. The best lamb I've ever had hands down. You'll need a reservation weeks in advance at a place like this.

Best pasta I've ever had. Cooked perfectly. Seasoned perfectly. The creamy sauce was S-tier. Pizza was good but the pasta overshadowed everything.

So we wandered across the street and found this nice little spot with outside seating and a variety of appealing menu items. We were seated outside quickly and after a little time our waitress came to take our order. As mentioned in my other reviews we have small appetites, so we decided to split the Pizza Salsiccia based on its other reviews. When reading reviews, keep in mind that there are two locations for this restaurant. As I perused the reviews, it appeared that the other location, has more of the five star reviews. Despite that we decided to give it a try. The pizza was flavorful. I am a bit of a pizza aficionado, so my standards are very high. I would give the pizza a 3 star rating because it was very wet in the middle. The type where the topping pull off when pull a slice out. The coffee we had after was very good. Overall I think I can recommend this place with the caveat that I do not recommend the pizza, unless you like that type of dough.

On night one was started with glasses Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne which we really enjoyed and on our second night we had to have the bottle. We split the Diavola Pizza and the Calzone. The Calzone was great and completely stuffed. I will say if I had to pick I preferred the Diavola Pizza but that's because Enza is making fresh authentic Neapolitan Pizzas. For Round 2 we got the Salsiccia Pizza as well as the Truffle Pizza. The Salsiccia was my favorite of all the pizzas we had here. The Truffle Pizza was also very good and loaded with truffles as well so it is very rich so just a heads up. They on make their own Spicy Olive Oil which is great for dipping your fluffy crust into. We of course had to get dessert as well. I had the Pistachio Cheesecake which was get and had amazing Pistachio flavor. We also got the Croque Glace which is a true Ice Cream Sandwich. It was Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate on a Brioche Bun. It was actually so good and much better then what they are serving at Epcot. The staff was so friendly and helpful each time we came in and seemed happy to see us. For sure a place to check out if you are starting to get a little sick of French Cuisine.

The story goes that I and the rest of my Nintendo of America colleagues had just finished up a very exciting business conference with our friends over at Nintendo of Europe. After wrap up, we decided to take a small tour around the lovely city of Paris. I, of course, took note of all of the similarities between the real Paris and the version seen in the Mario Kart Tour mobile game. I have to say, Nintendo hits it out of the park once again. We then decided to stop inside the Gemini, since that seemed to be the only restaurant name that I could pronounce. I decided to order the Truffle Pizza, and since I am from New York, I love a good pizza. The first bite and it was already heaven on earth! Truly authentic French food being served at this wonderful establishment. I am also very glad that the waiters entertained my shenanigans when asking them what they thought about Mother 3. I had a good laugh after they didn't even know what I was talking about. Excellent service, great food, and an overall fantstic time for any Nintendo fan wanting to stop in and admire the beautiful jungles of France. On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.
