Truffle Pasta
Maria P.

We ate dinner at Gemini last night after reading all of the great Yelp reviews. We loved it! We tried the ricotta with honey appetizer, the fried mozzarella appetizer, entrees (I had the truffle pasta - yum!), and dessert. I had the "One and only cake chocolat" which was amazing. The service at Gemini was friendly and professional. The prices were reasonable as well, especially considering the excellent caliber of the food. Everything was well-prepared and super fresh. We are visiting from the U.S. and Gemini is the food-highlight of our trip!

Fettuccine crème de truffe

By far my favorite meal and service while visiting Paris! My server was super kind and personable - I was dining by myself and she kept great conversation while also remaining attentive to the other guests. I had the truffle pasta, which was a generous serving yet, I completely cleared my plate! The entirety of my experience was amazing! Highly, highly recommend!

Delicious spaghetti and basil with buffalo mozzarella. Tastes just like in Italy! Pasta was perfectly al dente and every ingredient was fresh. My husband had the margherita pizza, which was also excellent. Waitress forgot to bring our wine but at least she didn't charge us for it.

Wow!! Fantastic food and experience!! Do yourself a favor and order the truffle pasta. We visited Paris for the first time coming from America & we enjoyed this place so much we went twice!

The pasta served in a pot! It was entirely too much food but very gluten free accommodating!

We walked out of our way to come here and I'm glad we did. Since we had arrived in Paris it was very hard to find a place that would accommodate my friend who had a gluten allergy. This place did not disappoint! We got a pizza which was gluten free and a pasta that was gluten free. It was sooooo much food! More then we had received anywhere else in Paris where we are. I had a mimosa which was excellent and the service was pretty good for a European country. It is almost impossible to find good service for English speaking people. The atmosphere inside and outside was nice as well and it was on a very quiet street.

Gluten-free Stagione pizza. So good!

Finally! Somewhere in Paris that does gluten free pizza, where you don't need to order in advance! And what a great discovery it was! The gf base is thick and crispy on the edges - like a regular base - not thin & ricey like many other gf pizzas out there. The toppings were equally as good, fresh & flavorful. To get the gluten free option is €3 extra, but it's worth it. My non-gluten intolerant partner was also very happy with his calzone as well :) Outside of the food, the waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be returning!

We were staying at the Novotel across the street. I looked on yelp and read the reviews for this charming little restaurant and we decided to try it out. First of all, our waiter was great! He chatted with us for a while and then took our order. I had the truffle pasta which was amazing! My son had the kids pasta with tomato sauce and loved it (he usually only wants butter on his pasta) and my husband had a delicious calzone. Everything was great. We liked it so much, we came back 2 nights later and our waiter even remembered our drink orders. It is definitely worth a visit if you want some delicious Italian food in a quaint environment while in Paris!

Delicious Italian food in a quaint eatery. Bi even better than the food is the staff. Very kind to English speaking gusts. So friendly and accommodating. This is our 2nd time here and we just adore it.

Best pizza even. Dough is so light, I had the truffle cream one and asked for an additional parme ham topping, simply fantastic. Good service as well. Definitely a place to go in Paris ;)

Can you tell which one is gluten-free?.. Me either. Delicious!

Unfriendly, inattentive service with lackluster food. The food in Paris has been such a joy to experience, felt like this was a wasted meal.

So we wandered across the street and found this nice little spot with outside seating and a variety of appealing menu items. We were seated outside quickly and after a little time our waitress came to take our order. As mentioned in my other reviews we have small appetites, so we decided to split the Pizza Salsiccia based on its other reviews. When reading reviews, keep in mind that there are two locations for this restaurant. As I perused the reviews, it appeared that the other location, has more of the five star reviews. Despite that we decided to give it a try. The pizza was flavorful. I am a bit of a pizza aficionado, so my standards are very high. I would give the pizza a 3 star rating because it was very wet in the middle. The type where the topping pull off when pull a slice out. The coffee we had after was very good. Overall I think I can recommend this place with the caveat that I do not recommend the pizza, unless you like that type of dough.

On night one was started with glasses Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne which we really enjoyed and on our second night we had to have the bottle. We split the Diavola Pizza and the Calzone. The Calzone was great and completely stuffed. I will say if I had to pick I preferred the Diavola Pizza but that's because Enza is making fresh authentic Neapolitan Pizzas. For Round 2 we got the Salsiccia Pizza as well as the Truffle Pizza. The Salsiccia was my favorite of all the pizzas we had here. The Truffle Pizza was also very good and loaded with truffles as well so it is very rich so just a heads up. They on make their own Spicy Olive Oil which is great for dipping your fluffy crust into. We of course had to get dessert as well. I had the Pistachio Cheesecake which was get and had amazing Pistachio flavor. We also got the Croque Glace which is a true Ice Cream Sandwich. It was Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate on a Brioche Bun. It was actually so good and much better then what they are serving at Epcot. The staff was so friendly and helpful each time we came in and seemed happy to see us. For sure a place to check out if you are starting to get a little sick of French Cuisine.

Open kitchen concept where you can see the chefs happily cooking or cooking all stressed out lol. Our server was Izaya very friendly, well spoken and caring. He ensured our allergies were taken care of. He was fast with his service and continuously checked up on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Now food, mama Margherita pizza was freshly made so you have to really wait it out before taking a bite to ensure you don't burn your mouth. Pizza was evenly baked and crust was even yummy. Mozzarella cheese bites were the winner of the evening. So good the crumbs that covered the cheese were just wow. So tasty we ordered 3 servings of it. We ordered a small salad which was a generous portion for all of us. Good variety of wine list and very reasonably priced. Tiramisu was one of the dessert options and every bite met all our expectations. On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more= Fermier - Cheese gratin with chicken was good. Didn't blow me away, but was solid with the creaminess of the sliced potatoes and emmental cheese combined together with mixed vegetables. The cheese was very strong though, so anything else was unfortunately pretty much overpowered by it. Arrived with bread, but it DEFINITELY could use other carb options to sop it all up (e.g., rice???)! = Landais - Cheese gratin with duck. Same comment as the above, except the Landais had egg and goat cheese also mixed in with almost the same ingredients as the Fermier. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + The lone waitress, who also worked the role as greeter, cashier and bartender was friendly. + Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ = Small, tight restaurant. = Not many tables inside - 6 in total. + Located a few blocks away from the more touristy restaurants, towards the East, on a much quieter street. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Nada.
