Make sure you go online and make a reservation, although theres some availability, they only accept ones with reservation. Ambiance is pretty casual and the servers seem pretty busy. They have one server who can speak English which made him super busy. Food is also pretty good! Highly recommend.

    Ravioli with eggplant. Delicious!

I eat a lot of Italian food at home in New York. I was knocked out by Gloria! I almost didn't go in because the bistro across the street is so cute, but I'm so glad I came here. Their red sauce is heaven. I had a beef carpaccio that is loaded with herbs and mustard, then the cheese ravioli over eggplant. Perfect smoky eggplant flavor not soggy. Just a delicious dish. Try this place!!!

The pizza is really good here, the spaghetti was also good with a lot of sauce. The carbonara was less than mediocre. The calamari was unusual in it's preparation and was not good either. The desserts are good - not great. The wine is warm as one would expect. None of the tableware matches. It's a step up from divey. Stick with the pizza! Reservations are not required, but recommended at peak dining times.

We are strolling the streets and randomly walked in post Eiffel tower tour. And we are so glad we did! We were happy that it was Italian as wanted a break from French food. We got plain pasta with butter for the baby and I got glass of chianti. For entrees, we got burrata and truffle pizza and pasta bolognese. Both the items were delicious! The pizza comes uncut so cut as big or little of a slice you want. They also give bread for the table which goes great with some olive oil. We were too stuffed for dessert. We really cleaned out the plates. At the end, we just sat there basking in the post meal bliss. This was the best meal I had during my Paris trip.

We were going to go to another restaurant close by but they were closed. We saw and saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. It's a nice interior a little cold inside because it was winter would have been nice if it was heated. It was empty inside because of the World Cup so worked out great for us, fast service. They brought fresh bread and it was delicious. Would have loved some butter with it but they said it was Italian not French. My wife got the salad Gloria with chicken. She said it was very good. A little surprised by the fried chicken in it but it was good nonetheless. I got 'em the eggplant parmigiana and it was very good. The sauce is sweet which though me off a little but it was still very good. To finish the night off we got a cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious. This was more of a creamy cheesecake than in America and I liked it . The price was very reasonable. The only thing I didn't like was when I went to use the toilet, one of the kitchen works came out and didn't wash his hands. I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he washed his hands in the back.

We came in on a Sunday evening without a reservation. The restaurant was busy but they got us right in. The food was very fresh and tasted great! The price was just right! Would definitely recommended for a casual Italian dinner in Paris.

Five Stars all the way for Gloria's! My husband was celebrating his birthday while on vacation in Paris, and we had been recommended to try another restaurant just a little further down the road. As it turns out, the smells that were coming out of this kitchen were undeniable. We stopped dead in our tracks, turned around, changed our minds and were promptly seated at this fine establishment. The servers and chef were from Italy which made for an upbeat and fun atmosphere. We started out the meal with the Brushchetta and the Insalata Caprese. The Brushchetta had three different toppings on it. The first topping was like a pate' and carmelized mushrooms, the second one was traditional with melt in your mouth tomatoes and the third one had a pesto topping that was just delectable. The presentation of the Insalata Caprese was just gorgeous and we could not stop eating it. Overall, the produce in Europe is sooooooo much better than the USA. Why because NO PESTICIDES! The lettuce is moist, green and vibrant! The mozzarella was so fresh and the tomatoes explode in your mouth with flavor. My daughter and I both ordered the Gnocchi and my husband enjoyed the Lasagna Bolognese. All of the pasta was homemade and cooked just perfectly. The Gnocchi was really rich, creamy and exquisite in taste. The lasagna sauce was so flavorful and the pasta was cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed some red wine with our meal which complimented all the meals. Our servers Emmanual and Silvio were very personable and we enjoyed a nice conversation about Italy with them. The service was on pointe with us and everyone else in the restaurant. The meal was nicely priced and they made sure to all sing and provide my husband with a little birthday surprise dessert and a toast of Limoncello! I would highly recommend Gloria's should you find yourself in this lovely neighborhood. You will thank me for the referral when you get back to the USA.

A great 'local' Italian restaurant. Warm atmosphere, great antipasti, the chef's one is amazing. Very good pizza and pasta. Ok deserts

The burrata is life changing. Easily the best burrata I've ever had, and quite a generous portion too considering this wasn't even the main burrata appetizer, we just ordered the burrata and vegetable app. Also ordered pasta which was fantastic, al dente, and delicious. The pizza was good. Maybe not the best pizza i've ever had, but definitely in the top quartile and enjoyable.

    Midi menu.

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.
