We stopped at this Italian restaurant in the 6th (Saint-Germain) right at 3 p.m. as they were closing the kitchen. Begged them to serve us, but all they could offer were cold dishes. Our service was prompt by Paris standards Had fresh mozzarella with halved cherry tomatoes. The bread they served was the most memorable part of the meal - incredible Also had a salad of interesting greens. And an antipasto plate.Even by Paris standards expensive for three cold plates.

I promise you, if you have the hankering for REAL Italian food in Paris, get yourself over here. You will sit shoulder to shoulder with strangers and eat the freshest pasta you can imagine. The cheese ravioli with marinara was so simple, so clean, light pillows of fluff. Damn...so good!

Stumbled in here solo after my family fell ill. Had a great meal in a quaint setting and even saw the Barefoot Contessa and her family.

We were absolutely AMAZED how delicious this little cozy restaurant was and service was 10 stars . The three guys who were running the whole restaurant were so nice, welcoming, friendly, efficient and hardworking. They all had great attitude and so polite, I love Paris and the people are so kind and polite. We had primitive wine I think that's what they called it on the menu. We had margarita pizza and arugula & artichoke salad. They brought us bread which was pizza crust delicious, I'm sure they have a pizza oven & by the way kitchen was underground because they had an elevator called dumb waiter to send up the food. We shared marscapone biscotti pistachio dessert OMG. Cappuccino for my husband and I had an Americano and I LOVE IT that they heated up the cream. Details are everything and simply delicious food. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE. Thank you to the amazing host, waiter, server & most of all the amazing CHEF for the amazing food that he has made.

The service was wonderful and they were very gracious with our minimal French. My husband and I ordered a pasta dish with burrata and the 4 cheese pizza and both were phenomenal. Unexpected surprises…read more Desperate to find a restaurant after my first choice was completely packed till closing. Found Le Perron and called ahead last minute to find a table. The staff here is really excellent and their care for their patrons is apparent. As a vegetarian it can be hard trying to find proper food besides pizza. Our server was extremely helpful and helped adjust menu items to a vegetarian diet. Removing fish or chicken or adding some sauce, he really made sure we had a positive experience. The restaurant is quite cozy and feels like home. Though it does seem a bit older, this just adds to its charm. All in all, I found the food to be really delicious, especially the tagliatelle which he did with sauce and mushrooms minus the meat. The flavor of the food was beautifully balanced. I would definitely recommend this tiny little place to my friends and would guess that the non-veg food is equally as tasty.

My boyfriend got the ravioli and I got the tagliolini paglia. So so good! They make some of the pastas fresh, in house which is really great because you can taste the freshness. We also had a cannoli for dessert and the filling was delicious. It's definitely a nicer restaurant and has an intimate feeling to it. The decor is well done and it was an overall lovely meal. The pasta was very memorable.

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.

THE FOOD ------------------…read more= Fermier - Cheese gratin with chicken was good. Didn't blow me away, but was solid with the creaminess of the sliced potatoes and emmental cheese combined together with mixed vegetables. The cheese was very strong though, so anything else was unfortunately pretty much overpowered by it. Arrived with bread, but it DEFINITELY could use other carb options to sop it all up (e.g., rice???)! = Landais - Cheese gratin with duck. Same comment as the above, except the Landais had egg and goat cheese also mixed in with almost the same ingredients as the Fermier. THE SERVICE ----------------------- + The lone waitress, who also worked the role as greeter, cashier and bartender was friendly. + Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ = Small, tight restaurant. = Not many tables inside - 6 in total. + Located a few blocks away from the more touristy restaurants, towards the East, on a much quieter street. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = Nada.

Marzo - Sharing a pizza with my sister. Appreciate that they cut it in half for us! Also, the chilli oil was the best I've ever had.

This all happened tonight when we visited for dinner. I ordered 4 appetizers and 3 pizzas. One appetizer was like a salad on top of ham. I was enjoying it when I bit down on something extremely hard that felt immediately like a tooth broke. I spit out a small gray object that looked liked glass or a piece of rock... more like glass that has layers and shine. Immediately my tongue starts feeling around and I feel a jagged edge on my upper back tooth that was never there. I immediately informed the closest person who was possibly a busboy or server named Louis I think. He asked me for the piece I bit into and I gave it to him without thinking I needed to take a photo of it. He took it to the back and threw it away! So he says it must have been a "nut". Obviously it was not a nut and the salad doesn't even have nuts in it! The staff... the man, the waitress, and the other server all as polite as can be start ignoring any of my requests to retrieve the piece I bit into and my requests to talk to a manager. It felt like they were laughing at my situation because every time I asked them a question, they would go talk to each other and laugh and would not answer the questions I was asking. Unhappy at not getting any sympathy from them or an apology, I finally asked them for more information about filing a claim for repairing my broken tooth and the server named Alice (I think... my French is bad), gave me the email address of someone to contact for Human Resources. They offered to have their insurance pay for any treatment so I guess I will take them up on it. I will update my review once they get back to me.
