I hate to say but this is the worst place we ate our entire week in Paris. We ordered two orders of pasta, one with garlic or garlic and olive oil and the other with red sauce and meatballs. The salad came without anything except bib lettuce and no tomatoes or dressing. Each item was over priced at €23. The only thing that was reasonable was a good bottle of wine. It seemed like they wanted to take advantage of us just because we didn't order a fixed price menu. Would not recommend this place at all. read more

I'm surprised to find such a gem out in the 16th, where there's nothing but a spattering of grocery stores and old ladies with their granny carts. Even more shocking that it's such a true Italian, with the flag up and everything. The owner has the radio playing Italian songs, though he sings all night himself. It's charming, not irritating! Aside from being just cheerful, he's the ultimate in graciousness, complimenting the girls in our party and making a special dish off of the menu according to my friend's tastes. Each plat is comfortably big enough for two people to share, or they will wrap it up for you to take home for lunch the next day - a true rarity in France. The small restaurant smells like the food tastes, and it's cozy - so make reservations if you plan on going on a Friday or Saturday night at 8 pm. read more

Came here with my wife, mother in law and myself. It was our first night in Paris and we were starving after we arrived to our place. We searched around online for a place nearby and in our budget. I know you shouldn't have a budget since everything is expensive in Paris but we found this place. We walked from our place down the street. There is another Italian place next door but because of the pics online I found this place we wanted. When we arrived the owner greeted us before we got to the door. He sat us outside because it was a beautiful day. We each ordered a pasta and I had a glass of wine. The owner would whistle and sing which was nice but not cheesy. Food came and the portions were huge. I saw someone said that the portions are the biggest in Paris which I found later was true. It was delicious and we had enough for tomorrow too. The owner gave us a free tiramisu after dinner which was also amazing! I'm writing this review because it was a great welcome to Paris and this place deserves a great review. Five stars all the way. Nice, cozy place. Friendly staff. Team service. Best Italian food I've had, ever. Forgot the name of the anti pasta but it was great. I had the Pot of meatballs with Gorgonzola goat cheese, tortellini with ricotta mascarpone and Italian truffle cream with rosemary. Delicious. Generous portions also. They have an English menu. This place was amazing. We ate here as it was near our Air B and B however it was some of the best Italian food I have had in my life. Including what I had in Italy. The owner was super friendly and since my Italian is better than my French we were able to communication in broken Italian and English. I highly recommend this place. In my week long trip to Paris this ended up being one of our favorite restaurants. read more

Got the pasta pot of filet mignon and it was amazing! Yes service wasn't amazing but it gave us time to slow down and enjoy the meal. Get the chocolate cake for dessert, it is some of the best I've had. Top 5 pasta I've had in my life and I've spend over a month traveling Italy. read more

The food is GREAT but the service sucks. Pros: delicious food that was served nice and hot in a cast iron pot, large food portions, many options for dinner, not too pricey. Cons: busy - service was slow and the waiter was rude (one server for ~15-20 tables), took the server about 10 minutes to take a drink order (as would be expected with one server for the whole restaurant), cigarette smoke inside and outside (the server was smoking cigarettes between helping out tables right in front of our table - pretty unprofessional if you ask me but I also hate cigarette smoke), small selection of wines. Overall, I'd come back for take out food but I don't think I'd go back for the experience. The waiter didn't seem to like us English folks. read more

Really nice Italian restaurant I find near Monet museum. Their Spaghetti w/ meatball and frozen yogurt are both good. I recommend you may take a seat outside and see the local buildings and streets in Paris. This may a very nice and comfortable experience. read more

Good Italian spot. Service was a little slow but friendly. Don't get the creamy pastas, they all taste way too similar. My carbonara tasted very similar to the Truffle pasta special and was heavy where it didn't need to be. Bruschetta with San Danielle prosciutto was excellent.
