Visiting here for a quick bit to eat. It was rough to find be cause the name seems to have changed. We originally looking for a place called Ceasars Cafe. We sar quickly as soon as this place opened. Staff was firm but welcoming. We understood the difference in culture. Our party of 4 ordered ravioli which was delicious. Having a zetsy lemon taste. Very different from what we are used to but it was amazing. We also ordered the meat lasagna which did not disappoint. The pasta de Carla was to die for. The sauce was perfectly made l, very flavorful. The Parmigiano was excellent. Sauce was thick and tasty. We got natural water and sparking which cane cold and in a container. Staff was attentive and this place was very busy with in the hour. I would recommend this to anyone on a quick stop that does not sacrifice the taste. read more

We had the concierge at our hotel make a reservation here for us. The name has been changed to Cafe di Carla. It is a basic no bones spot with solid Italian fare. Good for kids and had a lot of young diners. Started off with a Caesar salad which was really big and could have served two. It had some nice grilled chicken strips. First courses for the others included artichokes with parm and olive oil. Very good. I had penne putanesca which was very good. Colleagues had a couple of nice pizzas. Plenty of food for us. Wine list is heavy on the Italians, not so much French wine as one might expect. All in all a solid spot. read more

Awesome place to eat out while visiting Paris, definitely recommend it's a great place because it's open late and close by a lot of tourist attractions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating since I didn't know any French the ambience is very quaint and definitely has a French feel to it. The food was delicious. They have a big menu with a lot of variety of both traditional and foreign foods. By far one of the best places we ate at while in Paris! We stumbled upon this restaurant as it was close to the Arc the Triumph and our Airbnb. While there were may other restaurants around this same area, we could tell that some looked really touristy, and we were trying to eat real, authentic food. Caffe Caesar did not disappoint! The owner's son came out and served us. He promptly gave us menus in English, and provided us with beautiful outside seating. We ordered a half a bottle of red wine, and he brought it out swiftly and let us try it before he poured it. We ordered a margarita pizza as an appetizer. A while later, we ordered our pasta entrees. We were in no rush, and the owner's son made sure we had plenty of space and were comfortable. In fact, since it was later, and there were only two other couples eating outside, he pulled over the table next to ours, to give us extra space for all of our food and drinks. The margarita pizza was perfect. Thin crust, melty cheese, tomato sauce, and fresh basil. We enjoyed that so much. We slowly drank our wine and even had a couple of pieces of bread before the meal came out. In fact, I remember that there was this peanut mix he had on the table. I know it might sound small and random, but that peanut mix was really good! Our pasta dishes were amazing. My penne pasta was cooked to al dente, with a little bit of a bite. the sauce was so flavorful, and there was just the right amount of pasta. Not too much. After all of that, we ordered dessert-tiramisu. It was light and wonderful. We spent almost 2 hours at dinner that night. Between talking with another couple outside who were from Australia, talking to the owner's son, and just enjoying the beautiful Paris night outside, we had a wonderful time. read more

Read this on yelp and went. It was all the things the 5 star people wrote. Tasty pastas. Wonderful personal service. That was a real change from most of our service experiences. Location was near Arc, but remote enough not to suffer from noise and exhaust. I had lasagna and hubby had penne pasta. Wonderful ice cream cherry dessert. Great garlic bread on pizza dough. The restaurant is very cute and quaint with both inside and outside seating options! The restaurant is quite small but it's comfortable. We didn't speak any French but the wait staff spoke English which was helpful. The menu was in English as well!! Yes!!!!! Made our lives so much easier! We were brought water while looking over the menu! We ordered spaghetti and bruschetta appetizers! Omg it was all so delicious and it took no time to have our order brought out. The pasta was very flavorful and filling but not heavy like traditional pasta. I ate everything and didn't feel stuffed or bloated at all. Love this place. We chose to come here because it's extremely close to our hotel. The reviews overall were great which also motivated us to try it out. We ordered the following: - Margherita pizza - penne pasta - salad with walnuts and Parmesan cheese - two glasses of red wine The pizza was superb. Freshly made. The Parmesan cheese is presented on the side with spicy oil. All of this is amazing. The salad, if I could have ordered another round, I seriously would have. It was that good. super overwhelmed but friendly people! The owner and another guy have served the, let's say, 20 tables. I think they should use digital devices to make their lives easier! However, I ordered a tuna carpaccio as starter and an entrecôte for main. The tuba was very mostly and deserved more spice! After using the pepper-mill it was ok! The tuna slices have been so thin, they have crumbled while I was trying to eat them! The entrecôte was what you get in France I think. In The Gorgonzola sauce was tasty but maybe too much. Looks can be deceptive. We were under whelmed by the looks of this place but were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the owners and the fresh, delicious food. We are not big foodies that eat expensive or exotic food. This food tastes like your Italian grandmother cooked it. We had the vegetarian pizza which was full over roasted not overdone vegetables. We ordered the ricotta ravioli which was perfectly cooked covered in a simple tomato sauce. We chose the warm chocolate cake for dessert and we were happy with our choice. This was a wonderful little home style Italian restaurant right off the Arc de Triomphe. We arrived a few minutes before closing, but they were very happy to serve us. I was a little concerned initially about the reviews because we went to a few other places in Paris that did not live up to the Yelp reviews. That was not the case at all here. The pasta was the perfect al dente, the sauce was delicious and the cheese pull on the pizza was amazing. We are lucky enough to have great Italian almost every week in NYC, but my kids said that this was their favorite Italian food meal ever. Very nice people run this restaurant. Were able to get my party of 7 in last night on short notice. The pizza had three cheeses, one of which tasted like blue cheese. Awesome, I never leave reviews and I never repeat restaurants while on vacation to try as many as I can, but this is an exception to both. We ended eating here 3 times during our Paris stay and brought a couple that we know on our last day. Bernard and Catherine were great hosts and although they were always full from opening to closing, they always managed to sit us promptly and serve us expeditiously. The food quantity and quality were great and the prices very reasonable. Each time we tried something different from veal/steaks to Raviolis/Pizza to the Pastas. The wine and deserts were always spot on....fortunately we were there the week before the Notre Dame Fire and had the perfect vacation. This place is conveniently located next to arc de triumph. It's a comfortable place and the ambiance is tranquil. I will say that te food here is excellent!! The green lettuce with cheese and walnuts salad I ordered was very good! The Royal pizza I had was the best pizza I have had in Europe so far, with all the topping I would have liked as well. My gf ordered a pretty good looking bolognese. For dessert we had the three mini deserts that have for a coffee. Place is modestly priced too! Not too packed on a Saturday either.
