This is the worse food I have ever tried to eat. I ordered the meatballs and linguine. The balls were the size of a gumball, they hard and tasteless. Casa Luca was located right next to our hotel. Every time we passed by it, my boyfriend and I would jokingly say that we'll end up trying it since it's hard to miss. The day came today when we wanted to get a late dinner. We had dinner at Casa Luca around 10pm on a Friday night. The place wasn't super busy, but there were guests coming in around the same time as us. The restaurant felt cozy and romantic. Traditional, classic Italian restaurant vibes. Food came out in a timely manner. Maybe because the restaurant was going to close in an hour, we had the quickest experience of our meal during our stay in Paris. Food came out less than 10 minutes after we ordered. I had the Don Vito Spritz, which was recommended to me by the waitress. The drink was refreshing, and I liked the melon aftertaste. So different. For my entrée I had the octopus salad, and it was delicious. It had pieces of grilled octopus with roasted potatoes on a bed of baby spinach. This was such a great dish and perfect for a light late-night snack that I was looking for. The octopus was grilled well, and its texture of it was perfect. I loved the pesto used as the dressing. My boyfriend had the pasta pomodoro. I had the pleasure of trying some, and we both agreed that this dish brought freshness. I could tell that the linguini was made in-house, and it was nicely al dense with a bite to it. The sauce tasted like someone just picked tomatoes from the garden. Heads up, this place is a total tourist trap. We asked for still water, thinking we were going to get regular tap water. We were charged 15€ for a glass bottle of Evian. read more

I was here on a slow (holiday) evening so I can't speak to the service speed issues others have reported when it's crowded. My service was just fine. Is it touristy? Definitionally yes - you can throw a rock to the Arc de Triomphe and stroll just a few steps to the Champs Elysees. What I like about this place is its off-Champs-Elysees attitude (think: off broadway). It's not the tourist hustle joint that is the Deauville or L'Alsace on the Champs. Instead it's a fairly touristy, pretty good food, and very good service place that's quite conveniently located. Sorry to be so psychological here but there is a real difference (I wouldn't set foot in the Deauville). The carpaccio with black truffles was great. The lasagna was very good. The bread was great but hey it's France. The service was very good. Compared to what else is around I'd stop here anytime. read more

First off all.... it's not cheap. 25 Euros for a pizza, entrees are between 30 to 45 Euros. Their food is okay. We had the Pizza Luca, the Ravioli with mushrooms & Meat, and the Ossobuco. I don't recommend the ossobuco - it's was hard, dry, and bland, plus the bone is not served with the meat. What's the point? Second.... the service is terrible. No one came to our table for 15 minutes since seated, considering they were serving the table of 2 who were seated next to our table who were obviously local since they were speaking fluent French. Most of their waitress does not speak English - there was the 2. Maybe they were waiting for those 2 to come and get our orders. It took a while - seriously, I started to think that they were prejudice against us. But I think, they just don't have a concept of customer service. It's like..."you want to eat here... you wait"! No smiles, no apology for the wait, just plain rude. For the 3 dishes that I mentioned, the bill came out to 98 Euros..... not cheap! No drinks even, just a bottle of water. I don't recommend anyone here.... don't waste your time and money... plus you'll get super frustrated at end of your meal. Eat somewhere else. And oh..... they have never heard of Yelp! read more

Came here after finding in on Yelp during our stay in Paris. We have the linguini bolognese and also the gnocci. To say the least it was incredible and the taste was fresh. We came during happy hour and were able to enjoy some wine and beer too. What great ambiance and vibe and the fact that your in eye shot of the arc de triomphe is pretty amazing. Was not given the water or the coke because we all "needed to be buying something" even though the coke is 5 euros and the service was horrendous. Pros: excellent service (efficient and friendly, but remember that you have to ASK for the bill or they'll let you sit), clean, lots of table space so you don't feel crowded upon. This place is nothing special. I dined here on a Saturday night, and it was absolutely crowded. Because of this, the service was not very good. In fact, my family and I watched one lady get up and leave from her table after sitting there for 15 minutes and not receiving any attention. But, once the food finally came, it was very scrumptious. The spicy pasta was VERY spicy. If you don't do well with spicy food, I would not reccomend this dish. Instead, get the calzone. The pizza dough was very good and light. We understood that it was a bit of a tourist trap but wanted something near our hotel that was a little more a casual and quick. However, we didn't expect it would be such a rip off. I ordered a dry Hendricks martini and I was brought a pint glass with a lemon and what I assume was the gin/vermouth mixture. However, it was sweet vermouth rather than dry. While it's understandable if they don't have the right ingredients, they should say so. When our check came they charged us separately for the gin and for the vermouth (as if it was a separate drink). They also charged us separately for the soda water for my girlfriends gin/soda drink. Located right off Champs Elyses, Casa Luca is a fairly average place. The location is fairly good, and a good place to quickly rest during your shopping activity. We only had desserts and coffee, and while they were ok, neither was anything special - there are definitely better desserts in Paris (it's Paris, after all). read more

The food is actually pretty decent. But... 1. You will pay a hefty price premium for the location, a stones throw from the Arc de Triomphe. 2. The service was poor. We ordered an appetiser which never appeared. We ordered water for the kids which never appeared and then took 3 further requests to get. Two of our kids wanted a pizza and we were advised by the waiter to order only one to share since they were so large. The one pizza came and it was very normal sized so we ended up with 2 hungry kids. We were going to order desert but cut our losses. Way overpriced for the quality of the food and the service was bad seems they need a manager there , however our waiter was nice and friendly just everyone else was useless .
