Casa Luca was located right next to our hotel. Every time we passed by it, my boyfriend and I would jokingly say that we'll end up trying it since it's hard to miss. The day came today when we wanted to get a late dinner. We had dinner at Casa Luca around 10pm on a Friday night. The place wasn't super busy, but there were guests coming in around the same time as us. The restaurant felt cozy and romantic. Traditional, classic Italian restaurant vibes. Food came out in a timely manner. Maybe because the restaurant was going to close in an hour, we had the quickest experience of our meal during our stay in Paris. Food came out less than 10 minutes after we ordered. I had the Don Vito Spritz, which was recommended to me by the waitress. The drink was refreshing, and I liked the melon aftertaste. So different. For my entrée I had the octopus salad, and it was delicious. It had pieces of grilled octopus with roasted potatoes on a bed of baby spinach. This was such a great dish and perfect for a light late-night snack that I was looking for. The octopus was grilled well, and its texture of it was perfect. I loved the pesto used as the dressing. My boyfriend had the pasta pomodoro. I had the pleasure of trying some, and we both agreed that this dish brought freshness. I could tell that the linguini was made in-house, and it was nicely al dense with a bite to it. The sauce tasted like someone just picked tomatoes from the garden. Heads up, this place is a total tourist trap. We asked for still water, thinking we were going to get regular tap water. We were charged 15€ for a glass bottle of Evian.

Tourist trap. Bad wine. I had cork in my wine. That's a no no in a country that is known for its wine.

Carpaccio of beef with black truffle shavings. Very good if you like truffles and add some salt.

I was here on a slow (holiday) evening so I can't speak to the service speed issues others have reported when it's crowded. My service was just fine. Is it touristy? Definitionally yes - you can throw a rock to the Arc de Triomphe and stroll just a few steps to the Champs Elysees. What I like about this place is its off-Champs-Elysees attitude (think: off broadway). It's not the tourist hustle joint that is the Deauville or L'Alsace on the Champs. Instead it's a fairly touristy, pretty good food, and very good service place that's quite conveniently located. Sorry to be so psychological here but there is a real difference (I wouldn't set foot in the Deauville). The carpaccio with black truffles was great. The lasagna was very good. The bread was great but hey it's France. The service was very good. Compared to what else is around I'd stop here anytime.

2 stars for the food. 0 star for the Terrible Service. It seems like no one has given a review of this place for a while..... well... for all of you from the USA..... don't waste your time going here. It's located just at the next street of Champs Elysees. We just happen to be walking by and we thought.... alright.... the menu looks ok. First off all.... it's not cheap. 25 Euros for a pizza, entrees are between 30 to 45 Euros. Their food is okay. We had the Pizza Luca, the Ravioli with mushrooms & Meat, and the Ossobuco. I don't recommend the ossobuco - it's was hard, dry, and bland, plus the bone is not served with the meat. What's the point? Second.... the service is terrible. No one came to our table for 15 minutes since seated, considering they were serving the table of 2 who were seated next to our table who were obviously local since they were speaking fluent French. Most of their waitress does not speak English - there was the 2. Maybe they were waiting for those 2 to come and get our orders. It took a while - seriously, I started to think that they were prejudice against us. But I think, they just don't have a concept of customer service. It's like..."you want to eat here... you wait"! No smiles, no apology for the wait, just plain rude. For the 3 dishes that I mentioned, the bill came out to 98 Euros..... not cheap! No drinks even, just a bottle of water. I don't recommend anyone here.... don't waste your time and money... plus you'll get super frustrated at end of your meal. Eat somewhere else. And oh..... they have never heard of Yelp!

Great balance between location, food quality, service kindness and budget. I will recommend it rather than going on the Champs Élysées

When we told the server that there was a rat all he said was "this is Paris" we asked if he could move it and he said "no, this is Paris don't worry." If it was just Paris we wouldn't have had other parisians in the restaurant being freaked out about. I get it we are Americans and aren't used to it, but not even putting the rat outside after we asked them to is awful. We stayed at the restaurant although we shouldn't have. The food took an hour and a half to come out, and the server was pretty awful. Typical for Paris but even worse than usual. The prices were outrageous and the food did not taste good whatsoever. Highly don't recommend this place if you value a good atmosphere without eating next to rats.

Pompei is located in what seems like more quiet, secluded neighborhood with other small restaurants & fruit stand/convenience store. The restaurant definitely started to fill up their seats by the time we got to ordering our food, so they definitely get busy. Pompei has both outdoor & indoor seating available. They have two floors of seating, with the bathroom on the second floor & bar area on the first floor. The staff was very kind & helpful with explaining the menu & elaborated with us about their specials they had today. What we ordered: -capricciosa €18 -spaghetti alle vongole €24 -tagliatelles aux Noix de saint Jacques (x2) €25 -spaghetti with prawns €29 - white wine with berries (I believe) €5 & 2 cokes €5.50/each Total: €137 Spaghetti with prawns is not on the menu, but today they unfortunately ran out of meat for the fettuccine bolognese & asked if we'd like to try anything else. We opted for spaghetti with prawns, which ended up being €29. All of our orders included some form of seafood & tasted light, while still seasoned nicely & fresh. My favorite was the dish I had, spaghetti alle vongole. It was steaming hot & had sweet notes from the clams. We also decided to order the capricciosa pizza halfway through our meal because we noticed pizza is very popular here & every table next to us had ordered at least two pizzas. The pizza was bomb! Very tasty. I would totally come here again and recommend Pompei to anyone looking for delicious Italian food, while in Paris!
