Where do I begin? The staff members at Loco are awesome! The food was amazingly delicious. We were celebrating my cousin's birthday. The music & the atmosphere was phenomenal. I love salsa & to actually have salsa music playing in the restaurant in Paris, out of all places, was the icing to my cake! Magda, Chris & Gaspar are very friendly, personable & accommodating. I get people like to eat their meats raw, however, I do not like to see red /blood in my meat. Well, the Chef made my meat to PERFECTION just how I love it "well done" not red inside, not burnt in the outside. The side orders were amazing too. Highly recommend their empanadas perfect for appetizer. You must try their Apple dessert "Panqueque de manzana". Their wine list is phenomenal. Of course, we first started w/ champagne than switch to Malbec! Prices at Loco are reasonable. They give a generous amount of food for the meal price.
This was my first time in Paris. I did notice that the Montmartre area has the best restaurants & a bigger variety of restaurants for either breakfast, lunch & dinner services, unlike the area of Eiffel Tower which is where we stayed. We kind of struggled w/ restaurants in the Eiffel area, not much variety. Unlike Montmartre according to TripAdvisor, Yelp & Foursquare. Besides, Montmartre also has lots of sightseeing side streets & land marks that we missed due to our short stay. FYI, Uber works perfectly in Paris plus is cheap if you reserve the ride with a "share pool" its much cheaper. We only paid 8 Euro to get to Loco & 12 Euro back to hotel (because it later at night). Since we had the best meal during our week at Loco's, it was worth every penny! Next trip to Paris, I plan to stay in the Montmartre area, stop at "Loco" or "Loca" if their "sister Loca" restaurant is open for business by then. Thank you again to Magda, Chris & Gaspar for making our birthday celebration so extra special! read more
