Amazing place, great quality and even better price!! This place serves amazing options. The steak I had was one of the best I've had in the last years, for less than half of the price I'd pay in NYC. 2 steaks, 2 french fries, 2 cokes and 2 sides of mix vegetables for only 37€. I mean

Cool and casual, a great place for a hearty burger. The staff was very friendly and helpful with the ordering system. This place gets packed with a line out the door. The portions are quite substantial so come hungry!

I was in Paris for 3 days at the end of August. I was Googling good places to eat in Paris and I stumbled upon Trip Advisor's recommendations and Fermier Gourmet were one of the ones that wouldn't break my piggy bank. My friend and I decided to go there for lunch on our second day (she actually wasn't planning on eating with me). It's a pretty small place and it gets pretty packed especially during lunch. We sat in the back and the server gave us the menu and told us how to order. You basically get a cute piece of paper with options on it. You choose either the platter side or the burger side. You pick your protein (they had steak, chicken, salmon, vegetarian), pick your side (fries, grilled veggies or quinoa (I think)), and pick a sauce (a bunch). The server was super nice. We had lots of questions and even though he didn't understand some of the things we said in English, he was still super helpful and very friendly. After my friend saw the food that other tables had, she decided she wanted to try it out too. So we both got the steak with fries and it also comes with salad. We both asked for it to be medium. When it came out, it was beautifully plated and it was a really good portion. Mind you, it was also only 12 Euros! For steak, it was a really good price. The steak was a bit too rare for me but it was still really amazing. Very soft and flavorful. The fries were great and the sauce I picked (which was the mushroom sauce) went really well with the steak. When we went to the cashier to pay, we were talking to the owner who was super friendly as well. He actually gave us lollipops because he just got his credit card machine working and my friend was the first person to try it. We were so happy about this place that we went back and raved to our friends about it and the next day (our last day), we decided to go back! We came with two more friends and this time, I had the steak with grilled veggies and salad. The veggies were really good and crisp. I think they only cook their steaks medium rare because although I asked for medium well this time, it was still pretty rare. It didn't really bother me though because it was still amazing. I also tried a different sauce which was a peppery sauce. One of my friends god the chicken and she said it was amazing as well. The server and the owner remembered my friend and I from the previous day and they were just as friendly. We talked a bit with the owner after we were done and he gave us all lollipops again! I was really thinking about coming back again for dinner the same day, I was obsessed. If you're ever in Paris, this is definitely a must-try place.

Incredible! I would highly recommend this place for so many reasons. Where to even start? The food is fresh, creative and reasonably priced- I had a beef platter and the meat was exceptional. The people that work there are friendly and go above and beyond when serving you even though it isn't even waitress/waiter style. The whole vibe there is happy and relaxed- I have nothing negative to report.

    Steak and fries. Delicious

This place was great! Good was really good and the waitress was really nice. The food was excellent

OMG! Discover one of Paris' hidden gems. No, not Versailles. Everyone will visit there. Sadly few will probably stumble across this treasure tucked away on Rue de Temple, near République Square. Just had a fabulous meal here. Nothing fancy, or overtly French, just damn delicious. The main fair is burgers or BBQ. Choose a meat, sauce, sides and toppings, and get ready to have what is arguably the best simply good meal in Paris. Our table of ten enjoyed burgers of chicken and beef, beef BBQ, vegi options, wine and beer. Perhaps the best meal, and certainly the best value we've had all week in Paris! Thanks!

Beef with a pepper sauce, vegetables, a small salad, and French fries.

This restaurant has closed. The new establishment, a wine bar called La Bonbonnet, is in the space and is lovely! Check it out!

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.

On the other hand, it made me realize that my mother was a terrible cook. Bistro des Augustins is a small, cozy venue offering both indoor seating and terrace seating near Pont Neuf. It serves a small number of curated dishes, including a wonderfully traditional Bistro Gratin in a homey ceramic dish served piping hot with a brown crispy cheesy top, herbs, spices and chicken. You can also get it with salmon. My brothers and I only saw my mother use our gas range to light her cigarettes, sanitize needles to remove our splinters, and make s'mores during the summer months when she couldn't muster the energy to take us 'outside camping.' I mean, all she had to do was borrow a cookbook, which I'm sure were readily available from maybe a neighbor or in any local bookstore or the public library. How hard is that? I was the only kid who brought a can of tuna and his own monogrammed can opener to school every day. Every day. And mom convinced me that the tuna holster she got me for my birthday was cool and hip. I was a naive mercury-filled fool, although I did become a very fast runner in junior high school because of the tuna holster. The interior décor of Bistro des Augustins is informal and vintage bistro style - wooden tables, traditional chalkboard menus, and soft lighting - creating a relaxed and comfy ambiance. My eyes have been opened to what's possible. Thank you Bistro des Augustins for expanding my culinary horizons. Five stars.

Didn't blow me away, but was solid with the creaminess of the sliced potatoes and emmental cheese combined together with mixed vegetables. The cheese was very strong though, so anything else was unfortunately pretty much overpowered by it. The Ravioli Dauphine was perfectly cheesy, just needed some extra salt. The Chickpea Fries and Warm Goat Cheese were nice starters, and I liked the bread basket that was given freely - especially the inclusion of a walnut raisin bread. Simple classic French cuisine. We shared the mini raviolis stuffed with mushroom and a foie gras sauce. Wow. And shared their famous beef bourguignon. The tender beef, the sauce! I love the way they plate it too. Delicious. And a bottle of Cabernet Franc from Bourgueil (Loire Valley). The second visit (3 star) was very different from the first visit. Less friendly, borderline rude, took a long while for table service even though it was not busy, rolled their eyes about us sharing and at our wine bottle selection. We didn't feel welcomed. Food remains good, but not outstanding. Roll of the dice on service. I'd say if you're in the area and you don't have to wait it'd be worthwhile, otherwise seek a less touristy spot.
