Good thing about this place: the menu includes numbers underneath each dish to indicate allergens. One of the staff speaks English quite well. Unfortunately, the burger we got was mediocre - the meat and toppings were okay, but the bun was a soggy mess. I was excited to pop back in to Shiso Burger for a late midweek dinner. The atmosphere was lively and the service quick and friendly-- special thanks to the waitress who was so gracious about my inability to speak French. I hate to say it, but the quality of the food seemed to have declined a little bit since my last visit. I think it's even possible to see the difference from the photos- that the bulgogi burger was a bit drier, and the sweet potatoes a bit over-fried- but maybe it was just an off night. So, on our last trip to Paris we ended up marking a visit to Shiso burger twice. That means we really really liked it. The first visit was all about the bulgogi burger and the spiral fries for me, (the hip thing to do), and Allison had the Chili Lemon burger with sweet potato fries. The bulgogi burger (just a bulgogi sandwich with spot on sauce) was incredible . So good we had to go back and try a few more items. Allison's chili lemons burger was spicy, but she loved it as well. Service was great and the place was pretty clean considering how busy it was. We went back to try a standard cheese burger and regular fries and it wasn't as good.... but as far as burgers in Paris is concerned it was close to the top of the list for us (top for me... Allison will need to write her own review as far as best in Paris). Anyway, great spot, give it a try... you'll love it. read more

Server tried to bring us out fries which we didn't order and got annoyed when we said we didn't order them - she took them back to the kitchen. Looking through Yelp, this place popped up while we were looking up places to eat. And since it was on the way back to where we were staying, I decided I wanted this as well. I mean, the burgers that Shisho burger was very unique. Asian and then mixing it in a burger I've always wondered, so this place got my vote and my visit! So what did I get? I got a bulgogi burger on the go. It was pretty packed inside and there was a seating section as well. The takeout bench was very welcomed though. The burger, was something that I didn't expect. I think I was thinking of the bao type of buns being used in a burger, which was one of the main reason why I went, but when I realized it wasn't what I thought, it was alright. Now, I think partially it was my fault because I think it's probably possible to ask to use the bao buns. Even though the buns was just a normal type of bun, the bulgogi itself was pretty unique. It was a little spicy and savory. I would definitely recommend this burger, but I would suggest to try to get it with a bao bun. Pricing, well considering I would be spending $15, this burger was not badly priced. The uniqueness of these burgers is definitely a draw for tourists and anyone who love burgers. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to any friends who want burgers for dinner. Very popular place in Saint-Michel area! It was just down the street from the hotel I was staying in. I arrived around 8:30PM on a Friday night and it was very busy, so there was a bit of a wait for a table. Luckily they have wifi so I was able to keep myself occupied. This place is very hip and it was filled with groups of young people, I did feel a bit out of place since I was on my own. I ordered a Lychee Lemonade, the Salmon Burger, and the Twisted Potatoes. The salmon burger was out of this world! Lychee lemonade was tasty & refreshing, and the twisted potatoes were nicely seasoned & cooked to the perfect consistency. This is a place where Asia meets Classic America! Ships is an Asian fusion hamburger joint and I couldn't be more pleased! After a long flight and getting to our hotel we walked around trying to find something to eat. After Yelping around, this place had some great reviews so we decided to try it out. Sooo glad we did! What a find! We read the reviews for this restaurant and were intrigued. The place is small but has a great vibe. The service was quick and cheerful! And we were impressed with the food. My partner ordered the veggie burger while I had the Ebi burger. We also ordered cole slaw and both yam fries and their twisted chips. The Cole slaw was excellent. Great flavour, creamy and crisp, and the sprinkling of black sesame seeds added a nice little twist. My partner said the burger was very good and a step above other veggie burgers he's eaten. The Ebi burger - a crispy prawn patty with a great sauce and just a hint of a bite from a chili mayo - was delicious. The buns were almost like a steamed bun, easy to eat and not as messy as the standard burger bun. The yam chips and twisted chips were excellent as well and came with little side portions of ketchup and mayo. It was a great combination of Asian fusion and standard but really good burgers! We had been sight seeing all day and my s.o. happens to get super grumpy when he hasn't eaten. I looked on yelp and found this place. The burgers have an Asian flavour and the buns are maybe rice but it just works! The fries are tasty and crisp and they even have sweet potato fries if you want to try to be healthy. I didn't try the salad but people seemed to be enjoying it. We happened to be here during fashion week and there was definitely a very interesting and trendy crowd that ate here. Great concept executed well. We found Shiso burger on yelp during our trip to Europe and decided to give it a try because the concept sounded creative and fun -- Asian inspired burgers? Burgers with bulgogi beer? Sign me up!! It did not disappointed. The atmosphere was trendy and clean, with hip hop playing in the background. Waitstaff were friendly and spoke good English. I've already had some amazing asian food here in Paris, but Shiso Burger was just so good I had to rave about it. I ordered the ebi burger and the saumon burger for my children. The crevette patty was perfectly breaded, a little juicy and just so damn delicious, on top of that there was a hint of ginger and a kick of chili on the sauce in the burger. So good. The saumon burger was a hit as well, my children who are weary of eating anything they haven't eaten before devoured their burger. My son kept telling me how delicious it was - from a 4 year old who only wants hazelnut & jelly sandwiches all day, that means a lot :) Next on my list is the bulgogi burger. Looking forward to it. The place is pretty small and it was packed so going in with a baby and a stroller was not going to work out, which is often the case in Paris. It was lunch time but it was a rainy day as well so I guess that made sense. They were very friendly and I found that they had great timing (gave us just the right amount of time to order and the right amount of time to eat before checking up on us). Ambience: It's very modern, clean and you can tell it is Asian fusion. I appreciate that it knows that it isn't authentic and isn't trying to be fully authentic. The seating was very comfortable and the music was nice too. Food: I had the Chili Lemon Burger. It was very simple but it was oh so juicy! It was so delicious and nothing was too overwhelming. In fact that one burger was quite filling and I didn't need anything else. I had a few bites of the Bulgogi Burger and that even more delicious.
