The burgers are very good, the condiments tasty and the bread was light but amazing. Service friendly and cozy ambiance.

Bulgogi burger was to die for.

So, on our last trip to Paris we ended up marking a visit to Shiso burger twice. That means we really really liked it. The first visit was all about the bulgogi burger and the spiral fries for me, (the hip thing to do), and Allison had the Chili Lemon burger with sweet potato fries. The bulgogi burger (just a bulgogi sandwich with spot on sauce) was incredible . So good we had to go back and try a few more items. Allison's chili lemons burger was spicy, but she loved it as well. Service was great and the place was pretty clean considering how busy it was. We went back to try a standard cheese burger and regular fries and it wasn't as good.... but as far as burgers in Paris is concerned it was close to the top of the list for us (top for me... Allison will need to write her own review as far as best in Paris). Anyway, great spot, give it a try... you'll love it.

The Bulgogi burger is totally delicious and the Twisted Potatoes are great. The regular cheeseburger isn't particularly special but it's still good. Server tried to bring us out fries which we didn't order and got annoyed when we said we didn't order them - she took them back to the kitchen. Still ended up paying for them but didn't realize until later because we didn't see the itemized bill until after paying. Whatever, €4.50 isn't a big deal - just annoying. Would probably still go back.

Looking through Yelp, this place popped up while we were looking up places to eat. And since it was on the way back to where we were staying, I decided I wanted this as well. I mean, the burgers that Shisho burger was very unique. Asian and then mixing it in a burger I've always wondered, so this place got my vote and my visit! So what did I get? I got a bulgogi burger on the go. It was pretty packed inside and there was a seating section as well. The takeout bench was very welcomed though. The burger, was something that I didn't expect. I think I was thinking of the bao type of buns being used in a burger, which was one of the main reason why I went, but when I realized it wasn't what I thought, it was alright. Now, I think partially it was my fault because I think it's probably possible to ask to use the bao buns. Even though the buns was just a normal type of bun, the bulgogi itself was pretty unique. It was a little spicy and savory. I would definitely recommend this burger, but I would suggest to try to get it with a bao bun. Pricing, well considering I would be spending $15, this burger was not badly priced. The uniqueness of these burgers is definitely a draw for tourists and anyone who love burgers. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to any friends who want burgers for dinner. It's a different type of mix in the burger world, and it's something that you see every day (unless you live here!).

Protip: - Bulgogi burger is their top burger. - The place gets busy so try going during the off hours. - You can order from Uber Eats. We stumbled upon this restaurant based on the highest ratings in the area we were in and we were thoroughly impressed. Coming from the land of burgers (US), this was the best fusion burger that we've ever had. Obviously we had to order their most popular item, Bulgogi burger. It was popping with flavors from the juicy pieces of Bulgogi to the spicy kick from the kimchee. Keep in the mind the menu is very limited with the main courses only being beef and fish. The restaurant itself is very small and tends to fill up fast, so it's best to show up doing the off hours.

Very popular place in Saint-Michel area! It was just down the street from the hotel I was staying in. I arrived around 8:30PM on a Friday night and it was very busy, so there was a bit of a wait for a table. Luckily they have wifi so I was able to keep myself occupied. This place is very hip and it was filled with groups of young people, I did feel a bit out of place since I was on my own. I ordered a Lychee Lemonade, the Salmon Burger, and the Twisted Potatoes. The salmon burger was out of this world! Lychee lemonade was tasty & refreshing, and the twisted potatoes were nicely seasoned & cooked to the perfect consistency. Overall a very delicious experience, this is a great place for a date or to hang out with friends. I'd definitely go back, but this time I'd bring a friend :')

Delicious burgers ( tuna and salmon) Must have the sweet potatoes Skip the twisted fries ( too oily) Great value for money

Delicious!! Read some other reviews and decided to try Shiso Burger. Wow, we are so glad we did. We both had the Bulgogi Burger--an Asian twist on an American classic at 12€ each. Our taste buds were bursting with a great new flavor. This burger is nothing like we have had before. The Two Twisted Potatoes are two spiral-cut fried potatoes--enough for both us. Just down the street from Notre Dame, I would strongly recommend this place.

Amazing. The bulgogi burger + twisted fries!

SOOOO good! My gf had their regular hamburger and I had the bulgogi burger, no red onion, along with, twisted fries. Such a good change to all the different types of food we've had while being in Paris. The hamburger meat was perfectly cooked and had a slightly sweet flavor. My bulgogi burger had the perfect blend of the sweet Korean style marinated beef and a good hint of chili to add to the flavor. Can't go wrong with this choice! This restaurant is originally from Berlin and the first location in Paris. The owner loves the American culture. We ate to Boyz to Men in the background. You'll also notice a photo of Aaliyah and Notorious BIG on the walls. Along with a hip Supreme/LV poster

Yes yes yes yes!!! Everything we tried was delicious and that's saying a lot for a bunch of Cali Foodies! A must-try if you're in Paris

I recommend. The mix between Korean and American burger is delicious, and the homemade French fries are amazing. Located in front of the seine river, opt for take away and go eat on the quay

I liked this and I had fun puzzling it out with my friends. We did not do a very good job! It was hard to guess the ingredients and I think they purposefully try to fool you a little. I have photos of each course but I don't remember all the details. We had 6 courses. There was a small starter of a bao bun; mine was markedly less filled than the others on the table, so the proportions were off and I felt shortchanged. Then we had a fish course, a course with savory ice cream and some bread (like cornbread), a mushroom "pate" course, a cheese course (one big slice of cheese), and dessert (ice cream and apricots?). I felt like everything (taste, texture, ingredient quality and variety) were good but not great, especially since they are making things easier on themselves by doing fixed menus. Staff tried to explain what all the dishes and ingredients were, and they did good but not great job. They spoke English but didn't always know the English words for specific ingredients. The ambiance was fine. We were at a long, narrow communal table on the first floor just next to the kitchen and the door. It was a little cold from people coming in and out and a little busy with all the staff moving around. It wasn't the most refined or relaxing atmosphere.

Everything was innovative and delicious (I'm sure the menu changes regularly). They accommodated my gluten allergy and I had the best gluten free bread that I've ever had (made fresh just for me!). We had an outstanding server who taught us a ton about interesting wines as we opted for the wine pairing too. I read some reviews about price point, but it was much cheaper than Prix Fixe in SF, Chicago and NYC where we dine regularly and the portions were big. The vibe was cozy and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood before hand.

When I asked why, she said, "They're crunchy." My eyes lit up. As a vegan I crave crunchy food because so much plant-based food is soft. Evian was right! This roll had texture. It was beautifully presented in eight pieces. Upon the first yummy bite it was apparent this was cooking at another level. The fry was perfectly light and clean. Each bite substantial. The taste memorable. I have never had a sushi roll like it and now I want to live inside the restaurant so I can have it forever. We also got five pieces of the yummy Seitan Crispy, which comes with a lovely Doenjang sauce, that is thick and flavorful. These unique, protein boosts are also cleanly fried, delectable and filling. Lastly, my husband got the small BBQ Donburi which was a bowl of rice, a flavorful bbq soy protein, and some mesclum. He loved it. We sat outside on the lovely side street and chatted with Evian who made our dinner a memorable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and wish I could bring it back to America. This place was not only a hit with my kids but was fast, delicious, and healthy, as healthy Chinese food gets. The place is extremely clean, the food is great, and the service is fast and very friendly. When we walked in we were immediately seated. The staff were very friendly and didn't mind that we only spoke English. They immediately switched to English from French and conversed with us, no problem. Our food came out fresh and hot within minutes. The vegetable wok was large and very tasty. My kids had the gyoza and fried noodles with crispy chicken and ate every bite. They kept remarking the entire night that they were so full. For a family of four with four main courses, an appetizer, and four drinks, we paid €72. They have seating all throughout the restaurant. If it looks full from the entrance, still ask for a table because they have a very large rear seating area. I honestly want to taste all of Paris but this place was so good in both its food and service that it's hard not to keep going back. If you go, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy! I always like to think that places that are packed means the food is good. Well... that wasn't the case, at least not for me. Firstly, the server was extremely rude, by his attitude alone you could tell he didn't want to be there. When I was deciding between two dishes I asked him which one he recommended he responded with "I don't know it's up to you" um what? I then said okay, what's your favorite dish? He said "I don't know, it could be good for you or it could be bad for you. It's up to you" ...Right, so how does this answer my question? Not only was he clueless but his tone was miserable. We then asked about beers, again he didn't know. I mean even if you don't know could you go ask? Or can you pretend like you have a clue? And no it's not that he didn't understand me, he spoke perfect English and understood everything I was saying, he definitely seemed American to me. The food was just alright, prices were average. I could have spent my money elsewhere with better service which I would have preferred. Still confused as to how it has 4 stars but I won't be back again.
