This was a very disappointing experience for my family. The burger was decent but the rest was inedible and our server never really checked on us. The tacos had little meat and were extremely dry and lacked flavor. None of the salsas and queso had any flavor. You could get a better burrito across the street at cafe rio. I would not go back. Not good service- pretty bad food and not worth the $$$. I've tried to like this place but it just keeps getting worse. Server was really nice but wasn't attentive, especially for how empty the place was. Restaurant is beautiful with greenery everywhere and a nice view of the outdoor pathway. I'd heard great things about Pig Latin and so my friend and I decide to meet there for our monthly get together. I arrived about 3:15pm and my friend got there about 3:30. I asked for an outdoor table, since the weather was beautiful and was told that it's kind of hot and the misters aren't on.... I said, "let's try it out". The patio is right on the green belt; light, airy, and fresh. The interior seems dark by comparison. Our server greeted us, (didn't introduce herself), poured room temp water into glasses that were on our table, (no ice), and asked if we'd like something else to drink..we didn't have a drink menu and asked for one. She returned with a drink menu that only had cocktails, beer and wine. We were both driving and so asked what non alcoholic drink were available. I ordered a Diet Coke and my friend opted for water, but asked for ice. Our drinks arrived and my Diet Coke was served in a highball glass filled with ice - maybe 3oz...$4. My receipt said bottled coke. We both ordered the skirt steak taco plate for $20. 2 tacos with a small cup of refried beans and overcooked rice, a half of a jalapeño and a sliced radish. No sauce. We asked for salsa. The tacos were delicious, but my beans had something crunchy in them that shouldn't have been there and so I didn't eat them. We enjoyed a delicious dinner tonight. It was our first time trying pig Latin and it did not disappoint. We sat at the bar for a while as we were early for our reservation. We enjoyed guacamole a 3 different cocktails. Once we were sat at our table we ordered flank steak with chimichurri (10 out of 10). We ordered fish tacos which were delicious, and we got the ceviche tostadas- quite spicy but we like spicy so we enjoyed it to the max. If you are not able to eat spice then maybe steer clear of the ceviche tostadas. Bill for two people exceeded $115 dollars so this is not your ordinary basic Mexican joint. Such good food. I thought the ambiance was amazing. Great music ,super comfortable chairs, bright and festive artwork. But the food was just okay.I had the chimichurri steak ( which was on the small side) and I found the chimichurri sauce to be a lot more oily than it needed to be. We ordered the guacamole with some chips and it was a bit spicy for me however my friend enjoyed it. They got street tacos. That were full of salsa more than meat. I went with a group of gals- & yet our waiter gave each of us stellar attention, handling a variety of orders (from appetizers to drinks to main meals) in an efficient manner... we were all very impressed with all the staff (& that Incl the pre teen looking food runner!) the fully covered patio was an excellent addition to the existing bldg, & though yes it was a bit loud, I think that could be mitigated if you ask for table on the periphery vs center areas. (Our group table was fairly peripheral, so I found the noise level to be about average, not excessively loud, as I'm told it can get. The fans were robust on the ceiling, so I think it will be genuinely comfortable all year round, indoor or out. I look forward to future trips, to try out more of their menu. Vibrant, trendy new restaurant in Eagle offers outdoor patio seating along with hip indoor seating. On this day we arrived for lunch service and was able to sit outside in a beautiful location facing the river and the waterfall. It was gorgeous. Staff promptly waited on us and was friendly. We both started with a matcha banana latte. The drink was beautiful, not sweet and with a subtle banana flavor. Since it was national burger day, we both opted for the burger options. I had the beef burger (waygu, tri-tip, and brisket). The burger was served with bacon jam, American cheese, grilled jalapenos on a brioche bun. The second burger was the beast game burger (waygu, elk, venison) with tomato, onion, and candied bacon. They do not use seed oils and instead fry in beef tallow so we opted for the truffle fries. The burgers were juicy and tasty. The bacon jam overwhelmed the first burger and I didn't get that grilled jalapeno flavor but overall it was good. Fries were crispy and the truffle flavor was not overpowering. The manager checked on us during our meal which was great. The meals were filling and tasty. My wife has been wanting me to try Pig Latin for a few weeks now after she was treated to lunch by her employer and other employees during the Christmas Season. Well we had made reservations last Sunday and decided to drop by at an earlier time. So glad we did. Jesse was our server and what a great job he did. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and spent the time to get to know our palette. We started with the chips and salsa flight then the empanadas. After knocking that down we finished with the Mahi Mahi fish tacos. We really enjoyed them and would definitely have them again. The restaurant was very clean and the ambience was definitely not loud at all. Which for us is always a plus. We were able to spend some time with Cory the GM and enjoyed getting to know both of them. It's nice to know we have a local spot. Can wait for our next meal at Pig Latin. Positives first! The food tastes amazing! My friend and I both had the Branzino. It was VERY tasty! The veggies and sauce that came with was sooo good. It's a bit on the salty side but I love that. My daughter has the tacos. Also delish! Others had the ribeye which was cooked perfectly with an extremely tasty peppercorn sauce. Negatives- if you want big portions this is not the place for you. Also whoever filleted our fish needs a bit more instruction. Both plates had a ton of bones. It was kinda hard to eat! Also next time I will request not to sit at a high top. First of all place is very pretty. Great for pictures but what's an aesthetic place without good food ... If I could put a 0 I would. Got the espresso martini and a guava piña colada. The espresso martini was filled half way with foam and the guava cocktail literally had no taste .. probably because it was 85% ice and 15% drink. Also got the steak tacos & carnitas tacos, skirt steak with chimichuri and the agua chiles. The tacos were cold, the carnitas were dry and the steak was bland and the tortillas were literally mission tortillas that tasted like they were microwaved. We requested the steak medium rear and it just wasn't that plus how does it have chimichuri but it's still dry ... Don't even get me started on the agua chiles! Pig Latin is the newest restaurant establishment to grace the Eagle area. It was fantastic! From the atmosphere, to the decor, to the food, everything was well thought out. They have a pretty vast menu and everything from tapas to taco plates to steak entrees. We started with the chips and salsa flight, which included green and red salsa, queso, and bean dip. It was delicious! I opted for the carne asada taco plate for dinner. The meat was tender and delicious and the tacos came dressed with onion straws that were to die for. My only complaint is that for the price, you don't get much food. The serving of rice and beans on the taco plate is very small for a $20 entree. I did get the prickly pear margarita, which was a great choice! Next time I need to try their espresso martini! Our server was great and offered various suggestions on the drinks and food. They are still relatively new and are still fine tuning their menu with many of the options on the menu saying "coming soon". I'll read more

I also had the porn-star drink and it was SO GOOD! If you prefer a sweet drink, this is it. If I had to describe the place, I'd say if you blended Matador and Barbacoa and then elevated it a bit, you'd have Pig Latin. Not super "fancy" but definitely not somewhere you'd wear sweats and a t-shirt to. Parking is a bit weird and the "front door" is actually around on the right side. Service was good and Hanna was very nice. ~Menu~ well most items sound good, but they were out of items. They had "coming soon" items, but no idea when. There are no included sides to any lunch item except sandwiches/burger that get truffle fries. No included side rice, beans or salad. We ordered the chips & salsa flight. $12. The red sauce- just, no. The green sauce was way too tart-no. The beans were very smooth, yet bland. The white queso was great! The chips are good. I had small plate empanadas. $11. 2 small w/sauce and they were okay, but definitely not authentic flavor. He had 2 chile relleno, nothing comes with it and they were good, but realistically two charred peppers with melted cheese & fried egg-white coating outside, should be about $10 NOT $20. Canned sodas. No refills. I tried an espresso martini. Now if you've ever had a great one like, (Twigs), you know it tastes like an espresso MARTINI. Looked small & cute in the old champagne styled glass. This tasted like a chilled Kailua & coffee, so for people who don't know what a good one tastes like and you like sweet drinks, you may think it's good, but not for $15. I will try dinner next time. I give all places three chances+-, but I have to say it was a $65. lunch that was not very taste pleasing. Should've been more like $38.-$45. in today's pricing for lunch. I read a ton of reviews for this place and most raves were about the tasty drinks, so I am hoping when we try dinner, it will be great food and not just their alcohol talking when they made the reviews.
