The parking lot seemed full but they still had seating available immediately. It's big but still cozy because of the layout. We got the friendliest welcome from our server who helped with beer recommendations. We ordered the special slice of the day, Call of the Wild. This was required since I'm a huge Jack London fan. But wow, reindeer sausage, steak, bacon, mushrooms, more mushrooms, red pepper, garlic cream sauce, ... lots of stuff. It was fantastic! For dessert we got the Death by Peanut Butter which turned out to be a cream cheese peanut butter filled pie of sorts that honestly seemed like a light fudge consistency. Again, fantastic. We tried to eat it all but just couldn't so we took it back to our AirBnB for later. Overall it was a fabulous experience all the way around. We're already looking at their other pizzas since we may have to go back during this relatively short visit.

The pizza had great flavor, and was exactly what we were hoping for. We were also lucky enough to get a table without having to wait, although I've heard that during the busiest parts of the day, the wait can easily reach 45 minutes or more! Before leaving, we ordered the Hungarian mushroom soup and tomato soup to go. Both were great. My only complaint is that they don't offer a grilled cheese sandwich to go with the tomato soup, but I ended up ordering breadsticks instead, which worked well. Overall, Moose's Tooth is a great spot. The food is tasty, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and I can definitely see why it's such a popular Anchorage restaurant. If you're visiting the area, this is absolutely worth adding to your list!

Unfortunately, they do not offer beer flights, so Colby created his own half-glass sampler, which did the trick. The brewery itself was pretty neat, with large beer barrels incorporated into the décor, including one that guests can actually sit in. Their beer selection was on the smaller side, but we felt the prices were fair. I ordered the Blind Berry Cider, which had a pleasantly tart flavor, though it leaned toward the extra sour side. We thought this spot was great for Instagram photos and a worthwhile stop if you have some extra time while you're in town. Overall, it was okay. I do wish we had known about the outdoor seating options beforehand, as we found the indoor seating area to be somewhat limited. The glassware was pretty cool as well, with several different sizes available. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely return if we find ourselves back in town again.

One of the best beers I've had so far is A deal with the devil double oaked! This beer is made to enjoy! On the sweet side with a hint of caramel or toffee. A sample since glass is plenty for me! It's never really busy when I stop by so it's usually pretty quiet which makes for great opportunities to talk to staff members. They all are so patient, which is appreciated! They have a way to always suggest the best beer depending on what you are in the mood for. All in all, this brewery is a great place to meet up with friends or family.

Midnight Sun is tucked away and a bit off the beaten path and is literally just among warehouses. I also thing it being "panini style" on focaccia bread is a mistake because the bread was crumbly and I wonder if they have it on focaccia to differentiate it from the other sandwiches *shrug* My wife loved her pork sandwich the "Sweet Cheeks". If we're ever back in alaska, we'll return. How has this place been around 30 years? One of their anniversary brews said that. Craft beer was a thing in Alaska in the 90s?

Enough to keep seeking new ones out but even then that wouldn't last too terribly long and especially if I lived there. Midnight Sun Brewing is one of the Alaskan ones I tried a while back and I felt that the beer I had was very solid and enjoyable. In fact Alaska in general thus far I have enjoyed the breweries there considerably. The beer I had from this brewery was the Panty Peeler which is a Belgian Tripel. A good beer for sure and is a good pairing with fish and chips or a burger. Flavor highlights with this beer are sweet, strong and fruity but all in a well balanced way. The beer goes down smooth and is light bodied. A good beer to start for me with this brewery. I'd loved to try more of their beer options. Love the brewery's swag and have a t-shirt or two and would love to score a hoodie that I had my eye on but it was out of stock so I'll try back later.

They kept not coming up in the IG search results...weird. I initially was worried they went out of business because it said their IG page was down. I warned the birthday girl that maybe that had suddenly closed and joked "unless I'm blocked, lol" to which she replied "they blocked you!" So weird and so sad. Never in my 267 brewery reviews on Yelp has a brewery blocked me from their IG. (that I know of, lol) My only interactions with them on IG are to re-share their reels so my friends know what beers they have on tap or what food truck is out front. I guess if I had to guess it would be that my 3-star review about their being the only brewery in Anchorage that doesn't allow you to taste their beer first must've struck such a nerve that they researched to find what IG account is connected to my Yelp account, and then blocked me. Really disappointing, I always thought the owner/brewer seemed cool but I guess he has thin skin. Their Anchorage-style Pilsner is still one of the best beers in town, hopefully I'll get a pint tonight. Last night I had a west coast IPA and a Cold IPA. Both were good. The fact that you have 3 different IPAs on tap combined with a 3 drink limit by the state of Alaska...really speaks to why tastes are helpful. Still the worst name of any brewery. It sounds like a Temu beer kit that makes murky booze your friends pretend to like.

The indoor seating was smaller than I expected, but the interior design is even nicer than the restaurant and has a very relaxing feel. As for the beer, I have no complaints at all. Their beer is still some of my favorite to this day. I honestly wish they could somehow sell it in other states so I could grab some whenever I feel homesick. I also feel like this space has a lot of potential for small gatherings, farmers markets, block parties, or even little concerts. We'll see what they do with it over time. Don't leave any open tabs, and don't bother with the dark haired, short male bartender. Walked in from a truck on the coastal trail needing water, when I asked for it, he directs me to the two almost empty containers of self serve water on the counter, that also tasted like plastic, probably because they never get changed out. I left my tab open thinking I might get a second drink, but after finishing my (admittedly delicious cider) I wanted to go. I left without shutting my tab down due to a long line at the counter, leaving cash on the counter, which I made sure to get acknowledgement from him, before leaving. Well thinking about it more made me want to confirm i wasn't charged extra, so I just checked my statement, and money was added to the charge as tip. I'll definitely be going back soon, but not for food or drinks this time. Literally everything else about the place was nice, i just want to give that bartender a piece of my mind.
