On today's episode of BOUJEE or BOOTY: This is our first time here and it was recommended to us because we were looking for good Vietnamese food. Coming from Houston, it has been very difficult for us to find decent Vietnamese food except for a few places here in Vegas. We live approximately 10 mins away and are so happy that we will be coming back often. Service: To start off, when we walked in, the tables were almost full but we were seated promptly. It looked like there was only one server for the entire restaurant so we were understanding of the service. Annie was our server and she did a phenomenal job for being the only one to take care of the entire restaurant. She was friendly, prompt, and accommodated to our dietary restrictions. When our spring rolls were accidentally made with pork, we let Annie know and she took care of it right away. Being a server myself, I appreciate the hustle, especially because she was the only server. Food: the pho was delicious!! From the first spoon of broth to our last sip, it was one of the better pho that I've had here in Vegas. The broth was rich, yet clean and refreshing at the same time. They gave a ton of noodles and meat, which is always a plus. We also ordered the spring rolls, and although the sauce wasn't very impressive, the shrimp and ingredients they used were very fresh. So I have been passing this place for months and was hoping to have a nice Phõ spot nearby to avoid having to go to Eastern, however this was not the case. We picked up food early one day and the broth had little to no flavor. This was disappointing as we were sick and were really looking forward to enjoying some soup on a brisk day. This Pho joint is now on our top 3 list for best Pho in LV. The broth is one of the best and the veggies are super fresh! The Pho Dac Viet we ordered had a good ratio of meats, veggies, noodles , and broth. We also ordered the Bo Luc Lac which we thought was really good w/o being overly saucy and the filet mignon was really tender. We'll be back to try some Com Tam dishes but the Pho is 4 real! We live nearby and have been here twice. The first time was okay, I ordered the vegan pho. It came full of a variety of veggies, but the flavor was so bland, literally no taste. After adding additional seasonings in the pho it was still bland, disappointed I only ate the veggies and some of the noodles. My husband had the oxtail and said it was very good. Decided to give it another try and ordered something different. This time I had the stir fry chicken dry noodle dish. It had chopped romaine lettuce, julienne cucumber and vermicelli noodles with bbq chicken breast. Came with a fish sauce dressing (it had a light fish taste, not overwhelming). It was delicious. My husband tried the 3 meat pho and loved it. We also ordered the shrimp summer rolls without the pork. Portions are huge. Some menu items you can order small or large, unfortunately the dish I ordered only came large and it was way too much food. Prices are reasonable and food comes out timely. And they offer vegan style dishes. Our server I believe is also the owner and cook?. She's a little rough in her service and hard to understand. The restaurant is a little dark inside and the chairs at the table we sat at were wobbly. We tried a few other seats and they too did not seem sturdy, so we sat and tried to not move too much. Hands down the best authentic Vietnamese restaurant! We got the lemon grass chicken plate, the shaken beef plate, and most of all you HAVE to get the pho! The broth was light yet flavorful and the meat was very tender. It was so good we ate it on the hottest day! The spring rolls and eggrolls were fire but the best thing is the staff. Mood- Garlic Noodles I saw some pictures online of the Garlic Noodles and truly felt the need to have this in my life. The hunger took over and so it was time to check it out. I came when it was getting close to closing time but was still obliged with being allowed to dine in. Upon entering was quickly greeted and ushered over to table. Interior is several table and chair arrangements. The interior is very modern. There are a few booths that are def meant for larger parties. Everything was very clean. Finally checked out PhoReal. So glad we did. The food was delicious. Service was fast. I ordered the meatballs pho. The broth was tasty and not oily. The meatballs was firm but not hard. We also ordered the crispy egg rolls and spring rolls. Both were fresh and crispy. My husband ordered the grilled pork chops with rice. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Wish the plates came with egg rolls like at other places. We also ordered the Pad Thai. It was alright. Should've known better to order Pad Thai in a Vietnamese restaurant. We will definitely be coming back to eat here! Let me add one thing, the oxtail soup was not on the menu yet. Went in for dinner on 02/24 around 7. The food was really good, we ordered the rare steak/brisket pho and shrimp/beef pad thai. Everything was excellent. Crispy egg rolls are a must as well. My boyfriend had never had Pad Thai but he really enjoyed the flavor. The service was great, the only lady there was really nice and took care of us. They have plenty of seating I would say it is just a little bright for night time but thats just my opinion. Nice restaurant for a good quick dinner. I was really craving some pho which is how I found this place on Yelp. I was glad to see they had a vegan section on their menu and knew I had to check them out. When my friend and I arrived we were immediately seated and the establishment was very clean. The service was nice and quick. We ordered the vegan pho and the garlic butter noodles with tofu (never had). First off, the pho portion is HUGE. More than enough for 2 people. It was fresh, delicious, and very hot. Just how I like it! There was a plethora of vegetables and tofu and it is a bang for your buck. The garlic butter noodles were very unique. The texture was kind of chewy (not like your regular pasta) and the garlic butter sauce was addictive. Tons of garlic and tons of flavor. I've never received such terrible service in my life. I'm a customer service specialist with a background in business and hospitality and was extremely disappointed today. I ordered door dash pickup because I was leaving class to go back to work. I didn't have much time so I ordered, came it wasn't ready yet, plenty of open seating, I paid and lunch rush passed. While waiting for my order I was trying to sit down and the HOST KICKED ME OUT. Saying "YOU CANT SIT YOU ORDERED TO GO, YOU NEED TO GO". I said that's ok I know I ordered ahead to save time, I'd like to sit down before I have to go back to work. "NO YOU NEED TO GO". I'm not sure who's running this place but it'd be a good idea to talk to staff about chasing away local business. I live on Horizon ridge parkway and will drive to across the city for better service. Just ordered take out from here and floored at the huge difference from their online menu prices and what we were charged for a takeout order. On top of the $20 difference, they also added a 20% tip for themselves. I'm all for tipping on takeout orders but not ok with them just adding it on for funsies. I also asked for more tripe instead of tendon and that was a $7 up charge. I should have found it sus when they didn't tell me the total after I placed the phone order. Noodles $11.50 each x3, shaking beef $14.50 and spring rolls was $5.50 off their website - does not make $100 order. Food was ok. The broth wasn't as flavorful as I'd expected. You need to come eat at this place. Reasons why: The food was delicious. This place serves quality authentic Vietnamese cuisine (coming from a Vietnamese). Not to mention, the price is very reasonable. The portions are generous--especially the pho. The owner and staff are good, hard working people. They were very welcoming and quick to serve us, as well other customers. Our food came out within minutes after ordering. They also offered us some fresh sa té (chili oil sauce) made in house that complimented the dishes well. The dining area has a nice ambience. The facility is very clean and well decorated. We listened to some nice music while we ate. The kitchen is also well organized. I don't write many reviews but this place is worthy of a review because of the authenticity of the Pho. My family and I haven't found too many dining spots where we order from frequently but this is one place where we order for pick up or dine in at least 3x a month. The flavor of the broth, and the generous portions of herbs and sprouts are spot on. Noodles are perfectly thin to hold the broth. We haven't tried too many appetizers but the fried pork egg rolls are also spot on, nicely golden brown and crunchy. If this place ever goes out of business, i'll be a very sad camper the next best place I can think of is Vietnamese Noodle House all the way in Chinatown which is quite a ways from Henderson so..... yah well enjoy this place just be patient this is a family run business and they can get busy.... deff seen some rude customers and maybe they didn't get the best service or attitude but personally I didn't have any bad experiences at all. read more
