Found one of my favorite spots from my recent work trip to Las Vegas! Someone recommended Tacoterian at Green Valley Ranch to me because I'm vegetarian, and I honestly wish I had tried it earlier in my trip because I probably would have eaten here every night. And while I originally went because of the vegetarian options, I would recommend this place to anyone! I ordered seven different tacos because I wanted to try as much as possible, and I was genuinely impressed by all of them. The tacos are a great size, packed with flavor, and there were so many different options that it was hard to pick a favorite. It's not often that I can order that many different tacos and be excited about pretty much every single one! The service was also super quick, which I appreciated because the place was packed when I went. The space has a really fun, casual vibe, and there's plenty of outdoor seating if you want to eat outside. There's also good parking, which is always a plus. It was SO hot when I visited though, so most people were definitely opting to stay inside. I'm just sad there isn't a Tacoterian in LA! If you're in the Las Vegas/Henderson area, definitely add this to your list -- vegetarian or not. read more

3.5 First of all you gotta love a vegan taco spot. The flavor is on point and you really can't go wrong with any of the options. Unfortunately it's not always consistent. Sometimes the portions are different sized, sometimes the tacos are good, and sometimes they're great! Service is almost always friendly and there's plenty of space in the restaurant. It's never been too busy in here to sit down. I like the black-and-white tile decoration and they also sell merchandise. Some of my favorites are the fish taco, the Gabacho, the bean and cheese, and the Dorado. Haven't tried the Vera yet but it looks really good and that will probably be the pick up on the next visit. read more

I've read several great reviews for this location and decided to give it a try. I ordered the birria taco platter. This is just a matter of preference. I personally did not care for the tortilla, the birria, the broth, or the sauces. The corn tortillas were hard, the broth tasted like canned enchilada sauce, and the birria portion was mini. I'll tell you what places I enjoy and which ones I don't so you have a reference. You may enjoy the flavors I don't. The food was pretty good here but we had a hard time ordering due to one table of eight or ten essentially taking over the restaurant. They had a child or two being themselves and the high schoolers were talking over the kids screaming, crying, or each other. They had no sound treatment so the small place was too much. I could not wait to leave it was so loud and obnoxious. The chefs closed the kitchen door which is probably pretty rare as it gets warm in there. I had to go back to the counter twice as we didn't get what we ordered as the waiter couldn't hear what we were saying either. The birria taco platter is worth ordering but I was still hungry and decided to go somewhere else. I enjoyed the pineapple drink however and the person at the counter did his best to not do anything about the loud group. read more

I've been wanting to check out Tacotarian for awhile. I ended up ordering the carne asada nachos (not pictured) and my friend ordered the flautas. Service was extremely quick - we had our food within 5-10 minutes. The food was pretty tasty and best of all, I felt great after eating it. It's great to have some healthier, vegan options when I'm craving Mexican food. While it wasn't my absolute favorite place in the world, I do think it's a great alternative and I'm very interested in trying out more options from the menu! read more

What is there to say about a venue (all locations) that are excellent, 100% of the time. Food, ambiance, staff, & overall price (could be a little better); everything is exceptional! It's one of my favorite places to eat 50% of the week lol. Quality of ingredients (except kids chicken tenders which are frozen gardein) are so fresh. I only wish they offered the Mexican pizza all year round. No complaints, challenges or anything negative to say about this brand! Keep it coming! PS they just started offering (in store only for October 2025) kids under 12 (with adult paying $15+) eat free (1 meal on the kids menu) Sunday through Thursday). Thank you Tacotarian Team! Unconditional love. always read more

Got a 3 because the food is delicious. Lost stars because I ordered the fish taco but swap out the meet for the barbacoa. It costs $4.50 for a fish taco, and $2.99 for a barbacoa taco. All of the receipts show it correctly, but in the end they gave me a barbacoa taco. So I got charged $1.51 more and also did not get the item I wanted. read more

I am not vegan. My husband is. Sometimes I surprise him with a trip to Tacotarian. Do I like it? (I prefer meat). Does my vegetarian husband love it- absolutely!! I appreciate really good vegan food and this place has it! You can't go wrong ordering anything here. However, I did try their ice cream sandwich recently. It's called churro Chata. I don't think I'll purchase it again. You may like it so give it a try and form your own opinion. But their margaritas are amazing! I suggest going when it's happy hour. I believe that's 3 to 6 Monday through Friday, but don't quote me on that. Dinner time it gets very busy here but the service is always good! They have abundant seating for everyone, inside and out, and complementary Wi-Fi. Parking is usually not an issue, but sometimes especially around dinner time it can become sparse. I love that Tacotarian is growing and thriving. Please support them and enjoy their amazing food and service. read more

Food: tacos - veggie, al pastor, Baja, and fish taco. We also had the guac with chips. The al pastor was good on the first bite, but became saltier with each bite. The veggie was good and I'd get that again as I liked all the components it had. Hubby said he would get the Baja again. The guac flavoring was off. Maybe not salty enough? Not sure - some balance was off. Service: they forgot to make our guac and we had to ask about it. But they made up for it by making it and also giving us a $5 off coupon for next time. Ambiance: this location is bigger than the Fort Apache location and has a nice outside patio in the back, but it was too hot of a day to use it. I keep trying to like this place ever since my favorite vegan taco place closed (Pancho's Vegan Tacos - RIP) but something just falls short. read more

Soooo my wife and I have been going thru a meat ick and we found ourselves exploring what vegetarian options exist. LET ME TELL YOU RIGHT NOW, if more places like tacotarian existed...i mean if all vegetarian food tasted this delicious, i would've left meat behind a long time ago. The cheese and potato flauta ISSSS SOOOO FREAKING GOOD. Don't sleep on their drinks, churros or elote. The service was prompt and kind and the vibes were impecable. Taco craving - check Taco restaurant with TACO in the name - check Taco Tuesday - not quite In the immortal words of Meatloaf, two out of three aint bad. I stopped into Tacotarian for something new tonight. I ordered a taco platter so that I could try three different tacos along with the rice and beans. 1. Mushroom asada 2. Jackfruit barbacoa 3. Dorado (mashed potato in a crispy shell) Each taco was good in its own right. I mean, you can't go wrong with mushrooms. Even if they're masquerading as meat. Same with jackfruit. Not a bad meat substitute. And the potato taco brought back memories. I hadn't had a taco like that in a long time. It fell apart a bit but it was tasty nonetheless. Each of the tacos were good with and without the salsa but the medium spice tomatillo salsa tied them all together. Now down to the sides, rice - average. Black beans - amazing. And a refreshing little side of dressed shredded lettuce salad. I also got a jamaica drink. And I thought the salad was refreshing. The drink was even more so. It went down way too easy. All in all, price was a bit more than I wanted to lay for vegetarian tacos. That said, I left feeling like I had a complete meal. And a good one at that. Everything was delicious. Service was good too. My meal was brought to my table along with a fork and napkins. I was actually in ths process of grabbing my own at that but it wasn't necessary because they take care of you here. The music wasn't terrible either but it could have been turned down a bit. I like Adele and Mumford & Sons just fine but no so loud in a tiny restaurant. Other than that, good experience. read more

Finally got photos before I devoured everything!! I am a fan of this spot. Full disclosure, I am not vegan but I love everything here!! Started with the queso fundido. Now iykyk most vegan cheese is weird but this is simply amazing. The texture is not gritty, its not rubbery and it literally melts like regular cheese and tastes so freakin good. My go to is the taco platter. Although the burrito is delicious but so big I cant get the elote or the chips n dip or the fundido or whatever else snack I need that day . The margaritas are great but my go to is the Jamaica, its my favorite. Do not sleep on Tacotarian and don't just it just because it's vegan, try it out, you will not be disappointed read more

This is a great location with ample parking and a great patio with there is warm weather. The cashier was super friendly and helpful. It wasn't crazy busy but it did take quite a while for the food to come to the table. The chips are crispy and the salsa has just the right amount of spice. The tacos are truly unique as they are vegan but give that meaty taste and well balanced flavor. I appreciate that you can order a combo as well as just single tacos. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return. The customer service was friendly, but overall the food was disappointing. The vegan cheese had a very artificial taste, even by vegan cheese standards. I ordered a quesadilla and was surprised by how little jackfruit was included, making the portion feel small and lacking substance. My husband felt the same way about his burrito bowl--it simply didn't live up to expectations. The restaurant was busy, which may have contributed to the slow service. We ordered churros for dessert, but by the time they arrived, they were cold and hard, which was disappointing. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due: the ice cream sandwich was absolutely amazing and easily the highlight of our visit. While I appreciate the friendly staff, the food quality and value just weren't enough for us to come back. read more

Hungry for something healthy-ish and dog in tow... My friend and I met for brunch at Tacotarian. I could've sworn I already reviewed or at the least checked in at this location, but unfortunately I did not remember ordering the tacos the last time and liking two of the three flavors and wanted to order again. It was a very busy Sunday morning and the "wait" in line was a little on the longer side, meaning I had more time to look at the menu, also meaning I had the realization that I had more options. More options can be paralyzing. So, I asked, the woman at the counter for her suggestion, she said the Chikis Chilaquiles were very popular with the added egg and meat alternative I ordered that per her suggestion and although it wasn't bad, I did not love it. I felt that the tomatillo sauce was a little overpowering. I believe the last time I was here I ordered a Carne Asada taco, a fish taco and El Dorado... next time I'll do a better job and let my phone eat first!! I like this location, especially for its patio and outside seating (and I get the opportunity to bring my fur baby). The inside also has a great vibe and some pretty interesting merch, not to be missed! read more

I was craving some tacos and since it was taco Tuesday this place was busy, but then again it may have just been cause it was dinner time. They have a long list of tacos to chose from with a variety of vegan and gf tacos, yes that's right we had more than two options to chose from for once. They also had nachos, burritos and so much more on the menu too. I got three tacos (they are street tacos) I got the jackfruit, chorizo and the fried potato. All were really good, the jackfruit have a little spicy kick to it, the potato was soft with the crunch outside and the chorizo was good but didn't hit quite like the others did. It is pretty thick compared to others I've had. The inside was decent size with a large patio outside. The cashier was super friendly, she was also a server as well, she was busy. This place got a little crazy though, between inside order and mobile orders the wait time was a little longer. They ran out of salsa when I was there but I didn't have any on my tacos so I was ok, but others had to wait awhile. They also take cash here so you don't have to use your card here. And the parking lot is big in a strip mall, this place is tucked in the corner but the door is to the right of it so don't pass it like I did. read more

Haven't been in a while, yesterday my husband and I were craving it. I ordered the tortilla soup as it was really great last time, unfortunately this round was beyond gross. Tacotarian is still one of my favorite places to go. I love their regular lunch and dinner menu items and their specials are always awesome but I recently have been going more often for brunch. The parking lot was really crazy this morning so I was late to pickup my online order. Juan was kind enough to offer to remake my food for me before I even had time to say anything. That was really nice of him but definitely not necessary because it was my fault that I was late. I don't know any other restaurant that would do that for me. My favorite brunch items are the breakfast sandwich and the Birria grilled cheese. Make sure not to leave without a horchata iced coffee! I still enjoy going in the afternoons/evenings as well. My current favorites are the mango margarita and the Mexican pizza! All the ladies that work those shifts are awesome as well!! read more
