I accidentally order Pho Tai Lan which is a stir fried beef with light seasoning and lots of garlic chunk in the pho noodle soup bowl. I thought that was their signature pho which comes with lightly minced rare steak. Their Pho Tai Lan is more bad but it was just too oily for my taste. My taste bud was looking for a traditional Northern style pho (Pho Ha Noi) so I clearly was disappointed by the dish I order. It was my fault then. Will need to come back to try the other dishes next time I'm in the area. I really like the generous portion of the side veggies and also, their hot sauce is just the type that brings me home to VN. Service was great. The place is clean and they sit you when you come in then you go to place your order at the kiosk. Very efficient.

Pho Xom is located in a strip mall on the bottom floor of an apartment complex the parking lot is a covered lot with spots dedicated to retail which is nice. Upon entering it was full at about 11:30 on a Monday to my surprise but just shows the quality. I was seated and instructed to order on my phone or a kiosk at the front. After placing my order they brought me complimentary iced tea which was great and despite it being a place my own order and self service for the cold sides for my pho they came around to ask if everything was a good and refill my tea so good service! I ordered the short rib pho which was FULL of meat and meatballs i would 100% recommend it. It's also huge with a ton of noodles so if you aren't a big eater it's definitely shareable or 2 meals. They have pickled garlic green onion and chilies at the front to add and they are always freshly replaced. One of the best Pho spots in town everyone should try

We had a great experience! We ordered the dry pho and pho with broth. I appreciated the kid portion as the larger portions can be difficult to finish! Both pho's were so yummy! The broth was flavorful and did not require any additional sauces. It was served with garnishes and jasmine tea- so good! The inside is small, but cute with nice decor, semi feels like you've transported to Vietnam. The hostess was wonderful! It was a 30 minute wait and they call you when your table is ready. You order at a kiosk and the food doesn't take too long to come out. I'd highly recommend for a northern style pho experience- it's pretty authentic! We will definitely be back!

Omg this place is simple but feels like home. This is the best pho place around. Fresh and super flavorful. I will not go anywhere else. I drove 20 miles to eat here. The service is impeccable and it's super clean. It'sa relaxing place for lunch or dinner. This is a hidden gem for sure.

Pho Xom is easily my favorite pho spot in Carrollton as I love northern style pho. I got the signature pho and it was topped with so much protein. I love that they have pounded beef. The broth is super clean, clear, and extra beefy without being heavy. So good. They also have a toppings bar with pickled garlic, green onions, white onions, and chili peppers, and they'll even blanch your bean sprouts for you. They're also generous with the veggies. You order at a kiosk, grab a seat, and they bring the food out. They also serve unsweetened iced tea, which I love.

This place has northern style (?) pho, which I believe means the broth is less sweet and uses wider noodles. It's a nice departure from all the other pho places throughout the DFW area and this place definitely sets itself a part. How it works: Go in and order at the kiosk, find a table, and wait patiently for your delicious food. There's a sauce/onion/garlic/jalapeno station you can grab as well to top off your broth. The short rib pho was nothing short of amazing. Huge chunks of tender beef, green onions galore, and flavorful broth. This place also doesn't leave you overly thirsty afterwards. At $20, it is on the pricier side, but you are paying for quality. Definitely my new go-to pho spot!

Might be the best pho in dfw. Hands down. Cute decorations on the walls Chair is super heavy lol so it makes quite noise when dine in

I've been wanting to try northern style pho for forever, and it was sooo good! I stopped by at 4pm on a Saturday which seemed to be the sweet spot because I heard the server mention to another table that there was a one hour wait earlier in the day. Noted, avoid the lunch and dinner rushes to get seated immediately. Every order comes with jasmine tea, and I especially loved the pickled garlic from the self serve topping bar.

I've been waiting to come here since my friend said it's one of the most authentic replica of Hanoi pho. And happy to report that she's not wrong! Walking in you are reminding of old Hanoi with the decor and arts on the wall. You do have to wait for a table before you start order but it wasn't too long of a wait. I tried the pho signature and Pho Tron and they're both really good! The bone marrow and egg was nice... so similar to pho spots in Hanoi. The one thing they're missing is Quay - which is the fried bread sticks and it would be literally the same experience in Hanoi! Not pictured was the Vietnamese yogurt which was delicious! Can't wait to visit again when I'm in Dallas!

Outstanding. Bravo. Excellent. Flavorful!!! Truly speechless. Their short rib pho is unbelievably generous, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My husband and I stopped by craving pho, ordered the short rib, and the moment we took our first bite we just stared at each other in shock--that's how tender it was. And the size of the meat? Huge. Like... seriously huge. My husband says "this is the best pho I hve ever had". He is not the complimentary type trust me Our food came out EXTREMELY fast--no waiting at all. Ordering on the screen was super simple and convenient. The only thing is the noodles aren't a ton, but the amount of meat easily makes up for it. I left completely satisfied. The interior is lovely, and the staff is so quick and attentive. We officially found our new favorite pho spot. Yay! We'll definitely be back!

This pho taste so clean and light. You order at a kiosk and they bring out your pho. You also get complimentary iced tea. The service is quick and nice. The place is clean and has a cute decor. I also had the fried egg rolls which were okay - a bit too oily for me. However, I will definitely be back for me pho.

Ambiance/Service: This is a casual restaurant where you order at the kiosk and the food is delivered to your table. The women working at this restaurant are so friendly! They could tell that this was our first time dining in, and went through the entire menu with us. Despite being a casual place, the staff came by to check in on our table multiple times. Food: Spring rolls- Very fresh and high quality ingredients. The pork belly was tender and the shrimps were large and juicy. Pho- This is the best pho I've ever had! Everyone in the group ordered the restaurant's signature pho (most popular). The broth was so flavorful. The meats were quality cuts and tender. I ordered the kid size because I had the spring rolls. It was the perfect amount of food!

Pho Xóm in Carrollton is a little hidden gem with super cool vibes and genuinely tasty, authentic northern Vietnamese food. When you sit down, you're greeted with a warm cup of jasmine tea to start the meal, which is such a nice touch. The menu is simple and focused, featuring standouts like the pho tái lăn, a northern-style specialty that's hard to find anywhere else. Everything tastes fresh and balanced, just like good Vietnamese comfort food should. The Vietnamese coffee is strong and smooth, the perfect way to finish the meal. The staff are kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels relaxed and genuine. Prices are great too, especially for the quality and authenticity you get. If you're in Carrollton and want a cozy spot with amazing food, great service, and authentic northern Vietnamese flavors, Pho Xóm is definitely worth visiting. The only thing that I struggled with was the volume of all of the chairs very few seconds, the chairs are very heavy and loud, not a huge issue- but worth mentioning. Amazing place!

I don't believe so. When we were there a few months ago, it was first come first serve since the space is small.

We've been to the watauga location before which is owned by the father. The Carrollton location is owned by the son. It's newer and more modern and bigger than the original location. They also had a lot more workers too. They have the same recipes for the pho and banh mi. But Kelly said the drinks and Bbh were different so we had to get them. It did not disappoint. Got the da chanh which is their limeade. Just like my mama makes it. Their coffee is different too she said. I loved my BBH. It did impress me. The meat was tender. Usually places don't make it as tender. The cuts were good too. Had some fatty pieces. I like to dip mine in nuoc mam. My son loved the crispy egg rolls. Overall would definitely come back! The mi soup is piping hot and delicious…read more The banh canh cua was served pretty room temp/cool and the fried donut (quay) was also not crispy or fresh. It did have a good amount of crab, quail eggs, and meat though. I sense that this is a very traditional Vietnamese kitchen but i was bummed about the way the banh canh cua was served. Especially since they seem to be the only one in the area that serves this dish. Of course service is ehh too because most traditional Vietnamese kitchens aren't known for great service. The dining room is small and it doesn't seem to have a restroom. Lots of fruit flies/gnats though... I think I'll be back to try the canh chua and thit kho and ca kho next time. Give it a 2nd chance. I was really hoping to find a new place that's local to me with the dishes that they serve (very traditional homemade type of dishes) but I would skip this and drive to Garland or even Grand Prairie next time. :/
