Good! Not great. I had the banh canh cua and the mi here. The mi soup is piping hot and delicious. The banh canh cua was served pretty room temp/cool and the fried donut (quay) was also not crispy or fresh. It did have a good amount of crab, quail eggs, and meat though. I sense that this is a very traditional Vietnamese kitchen but i was bummed about the way the banh canh cua was served. Especially since they seem to be the only one in the area that serves this dish. Of course service is ehh too because most traditional Vietnamese kitchens aren't known for great service. The dining room is small and it doesn't seem to have a restroom. Lots of fruit flies/gnats though... I think I'll be back to try the canh chua and thit kho and ca kho next time. Give it a 2nd chance. I was really hoping to find a new place that's local to me with the dishes that they serve (very traditional homemade type of dishes) but I would skip this and drive to Garland or even Grand Prairie next time. :/ read more

We came as a small party of 4 so didn't get to try too much. What a special hidden gem for authentic Vietnamese food! The service was exceptional with very kind and attentive waiters. The restaurant itself is very clean and well decorated, making it an inviting and cozy place to dine in with your friends and family. Lastly, the food was SO good. You really get what you pay for with the high quality food. Incredible family owned and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I've been to Vietnam and this was the best Vietnamese cuisine I have had in Texas. Service was fast and friendly. Every dish was packed with lots of meat. All the sides (herbs, pickled vegetables and sauces) were great. I don't love beef and usually prefer pork but the Bon Bo Hue was really well seasoned and had a rich bone broth. The stewed duck soup was made with a very light and medicinal broth and included goji berries. Everything was very fresh. Portions are large. We unfortunately weren't able to try their famous yogurt because they ran out but we will for sure be back! read more

They are different from how I normally cook them, so it was refreshing to see a spin on Vietnamese staples. I also enjoyed the Braised Pork Ribs because it had a good kick. Everything had a hint of sweetness but definitely tart and spicy where it counted. The rice that accompanied the Fried Chicken was amazing!! You know when the waitress doesn't speak English food is authentic and going to be bomb! Good thing my husband is Vietnamese and can help translate or you can just point to pictures on the menu. One look at the menu and I was already getting excited. Dishes I don't see in common Vietnamese restaurants like banh canh, catfish clay pot or canh chua. Most restaurants have pho, rice and vermicelli dishes. This place offers more variety Vietnamese dishes that you should give a try. This place has very nice ambiance. You can appreciate their efforts on the detailed asian decor and branded coverings for their utensils (not commonly seen at other Vietnamese restaurants). Service was very good, and the menu offered many authentic Vietnamese dishes. What didn't impress us was the food. We ordered shaken beef and the seasoning was light and not flavorful. The house special crispy noodle had so much sauce in it that the noodle became soft very quickly. The toppings on the noodle were weird, with pork kidney, and some beef parts that would be better served as appetizers. The portions were small for the price. The pot stickers were pretty good, and the sweet spicy sauce was tasty. My dad liked his chow mein (not pictured) and my daughter liked her chicken.
