Was meeting a customer earlier and decided to get bahn mi for lunch. Got the buy 3 get 1, along with 4 egg rolls. The bahn mi was 2 combination and 2 bbq pork. Have to say, it was quite good this time as the bread was a bit buttery, which was a good thing instead of regular French bread. Only issue is the egg rolls, 4 for $3. Price is ok as it's the same @ Bistro B, but the flavor is off and just wasn't as tasty. This location is so much better then the Haltom City location. Service was fast friendly and the banh mi was great! Full of meat and veggies. The deli has fast, friendly service and four small metal cafe tables with plastic chairs for pairs to sit to eat inside. I ordered the grilled pork and it was one of the Bahn Mi I've ever had. The sandwich itself was large, fresh, had a generous portion of meat, and was very filling. While I've still seen Bahn mi for around this price elsewhere, I feel like they have only been about 2/3 the size of these at best. I can't get over what an amazing deal this place is. Saigon Deli has made a very positive first impression on me. Next time I go I want to try the Pork Floss Bahn Mi as I haven't often seen that as an option in the states. I also ordered their strawberry smoothie and it was also good. I would say the sandwich was amazing and the smoothie was good but not amazing. If I am in the area of a Saigon Deli and need to feed a group of people, I am definitely going there for their sandwiches...it is the best deal around especially with crazy inflation seemingly everywhere else.
