Stopped in to this new place for a banh mi and pho. Have been looking forward to it as there is not currently a Vietnamese place close by, though Ichigo does have pho. We started with a Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai tea. The coffee was excellent, if you like iced coffee at all you need to get it. The Thai tea was good but a bit on the sweet side. Definitely worth trying the drinks. We got an appetizer, the rocket shrimp. These are shrimp wrapped in rice paper like a spring roll but deep fat fried. These were done just right, so when you bite them the shrimp doesn't pull out. Very good with the sauce. The banh mi was classic--I got the chargrilled beef. It is served on a wonderful crusty roll, they absolutely nailed the bread. The sandwich fillings were very good but not strongly flavored, so I supplemented with fish sauce. The banh mis average about $6.50 so if you are looking for an inexpensive lunch in these times they are worth a look. The pho was on the other end of the price scale. We got the Pho Ga, white meat chicken. The broth flavor is pretty subtle but a hoisin and sriracha supplement worked well. They have a wide variety, including some traditional ones like fatty brisket and "stripe" (tripe? Intestine? Not sure). Service was excellent. The interior is very bright (painted white) and inviting--a very clean look. The bathroom was reasonably clean and ready. They do differentiate genders when each bathroom has only one facility, kind of unnecessary. Glad this option is available near us. read more

The food was great but there were little things that took away from the experience their. To start the spot was empty outside one other family seated and already eating so it's not that they were busy...The table we sat at was sticky and it took a while for someone to come take our order and wipe the table. First and last time in. Ordered three dishes including Vietnamese egg rolls, grilled pork with rice and egg roll, and chicken and stir fried noodles. In short, none of these dishes were great. Egg rolls are a key to a great Vietnamese meal for me and these tasted odd-possibly processed. Not fresh. Fish sauce was more like duck sauce, and the dish included one tiny piece of lettuce. Grilled pork dish tasted strange--not like this dish is supposed to taste--I've ordered it countless times at many restaurants. Daughter wouldn't even eat her dish, and it went in the trash bin. Asked for extra fish sauce and didn't get it. Overall, food taste was very poor, price was high for what we received compared to other restaurants. We will pass this one by and drive a bit further for Vietnamese. read more

Fried egg rolls: weren't traditional Vietnamese, it tasted more so like an over fried Chinese egg roll. It tasted like grease and bland. Rocket Shrimp were equally as oily and bad. Too bland Pho Ga (chicken pho): excessive broth I had to hunt for the noodles and chicken. The noodles were sparse. The chicken was actually very good, not chewy or over cooked. The broth wasn't bad but it wasn't that flavorful. The ambience was modern and hip, the place was very clean. Overall I'd probably try a different place though. Food was underwhelming. read more

Have been going here since it open at this location. Food is good but lately these service has been going downhill. Also, check your food before you take a bite. We found a flea in my rice plate and notify the guy behind the counter. Apparently, this was not the first time it has happen. Consistently tasty every time. I get the P19. Great portions and such good flavor. The fried tofu is always the perfect texture. I love how the basil, jalapeños, lime, etc. come in an air bag to keep it fresh when ordered to go. Another mention, the last time I went to order food they had closed at 9, but one site said 10. I ordered at 8:52 and they took the order without hesitation. I didn't think anything of it. But when I showed up at 9:20, it was closed, chairs up, they were cleaning, and the gentleman welcomed me so kindly and said nothing of it. That is the most genuine type of service, and I was grateful for that. (Because people who order 8 mins before close when they are aware of closing time, never mind showing up after close, are the worst kind of people) I felt really bad, but man they do a great job with food and service. read more

Came into this establishment and ordered chicken pho and rocket shrimp. The young lady at the front informed me it would be probably 15 mins. I ordered at 7:17....it is now 7:55 and I still haven't received my food. People have come in after me and ordered and their food was brought out to them. I've never been to a Pho restaurant and it takes this long. I will not be coming back to this establishment. We decided to come here since our typical pho spot is closed on Sundays. We were a little skeptical since every time we try a new pho place we are let down. Pho Viet & grill did NOT disappoint. It's a newer place and the staff is friendly. The food was so good! The pho tasted fresh and true. The meat wasn't bad and the meatballs were not those typical frozen meat balls. Bad service ever. We ordered 2 banh mi and 2 spring rolls. Waited for 45 mins and still didnt get our food for togo. The couple came after us got their food first and left. Came and talked to the staffs and they kept saying "its coming". Wont ever go back here AGAIN! read more
