Owner appeared irritable that I couldn't understand his accent while confirming my order. Overall just left with a bad taste in my mouth despite of tipping as courtesy. I've always ordered the Large Pho special combination and they are always kind of enough to accommodate different noodle request. They are pretty generous with meat even during take out. Fullerton has a few pho spots, some of which are more modern and expensive but we were feeling a classic traditional bowl of pho which is what this place specializes in. They have about 8 tables inside and also have outdoor seating available. The service was excellent, even when it got busy with rush hour our server was still attentive to us. The first impression was great. My family and I were greeted right away. The pho we ordered was with rare beef pho and the beef pho with fully cooked beef. We also ordered a veggie noodle plate. The shrimp rolls were simple but flavorful, the peanut sauce was also well balanced, and the pho broth was sooo good. I'm a big broth person and it didn't disappoint. The three kind of meat used were the worst I have had in years. The beef planks were tough. And the soup base is like purely hot water plus MSG with beef broth. The broth is hands down the best I have ever had and I actually go with egg noodles here which is unorthodox I know but I dig it. BBQ chicken Pho is my go to with some crispy rolls. The chicken is served on the side perfectly charred and seasoned. Drop it all in or be like me and dip in Saracha per bite. Spicy and incredible. I usually go with the regular size pho but they do offer a larger size. I've never left here hungry with the regular portion. Best pho in Brea, hands down. I should have known better than to judge a pho place by its location in a somewhat janky strip mall. We got the steak and brisket pho, bbq chicken and shrimp with rice, egg rolls, and bbq pork spring rolls. The pho was delicious, great soup base. The bbq chicken was LEGIT. Best thing we had. The egg rolls were freshly fried, crispy, and perfectly done. The bbq pork spring rolls were the only thing we didn't like. It was obviously pre-prepared (which is typical I guess) and didn't have the smoky bbq flavor I love. Service was very good for a pho place. I've never had someone offer me free extra soup which was really nice. The interior vibe was on point. They clearly took over what used to be a liquor store as you can tell from the painted over (but still working) refrigerator units.
