I had an eye doctor appointment in the same shopping center and one of the employees there recommended this place. I decided to give it a shot when I returned to pick up my glasses, and oh my goodness! The pho broth was incredible. The broth makes or breaks pho for me, and theirs is so flavorful! I didn't even remember to take a picture of my food before eating, but I think my empty bowl speaks for itself, haha. The atmosphere was nice and the music wasn't turned up too loud. There were several families dining in when I went. The employees were very sweet.

I can't believe this is my first time here. The pork and shrimp spring rolls tasted fresh and the peanut sauce was sweet. I had the pork banh mi, the meat was sliced super thin, it was saucy and a little crispy, the bread was soft but slight toasted, it came nice and warm! I also got a lychee boba, it was sweet, creamy just delicious. Great meal! Service was quick, not busy for a Friday afternoon. And everything felt and looked clean.

The food was really good. Very flavorful and good portions. The staff was really good as well. Everyone was friendly and we felt welcome there. I believe this is a small family run business, so that may be why we had to wait a while sometimes for service. Other than that, it was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

I heard they changed owners again... Food was not good. I asked for bun Bo hue with just rare steak and cha lua. What I got was all the meats and tendon and no cha lua. All the meats were tough and tendon was hard. Do not recommend. They ended up bringing me 2 tiny little pieces of cha lua. Pho came with roughly 5 pieces of meat. This is not how you do business.

    House special pho

Small Skimpy portions of protein. 5 extra small, extra thin slices of beef, 3 tiny sprigs of tripe, 3 small slices of brisket and 1 beef ball cut in half. Old watery wilted beansprouts and blackened Thai basil was included. Pho Far East in Raleigh down the road is far better.

Pho Super 9 was great! I had their pho with brisket, meatballs, and a lot of veggies that came with it, and it was amazing. We also ordered spring rolls to share before our main entrée (the pho), and those were not disappointing at all. I like coming to Pho Super 9 whenever I'm in the mood for pho!

The owner was very sweet and considerate. First time I took both my kids here. We ordered pho bowls, fresh rice paper rolls, fried egg rolls, vietnamese iced coffee, and avocado smoothies. Everything was delicious. The foods came out quickly, the restaurant was very clean and spacious. I enjoyed everything we ordered. The owner kept coming to check on us to make sure we had what we needed. I also think their prices are decent. I highly recommend!

I ordered the steak and shrimp pho! The food was good but I got seated before the rush came in and it felt like everyone that came in after me had gotten served before me. Once I got served, I have not been checked on not one time. I've been waiting for someone to ask me for a to go container but they're all just sitting behind the counter.

This is my new favorite Vietnames restaurant in Raleigh. The food is good especially their weekend chef's specials (I tried their Hủ tiếu Nam Vang and cháo lòng). Highly recommended for whoever visiting Raleigh in the weekend. Located near Triangle Mall with plenty of parking. Inside decoration is quite eye catching. I hope you guys keep up the food quality.

Is the vegetarian pho the only vegan or vegetarian option?

No, my wife had tofu spring rolls today. They can also do rice or vermicelli plates with tofu & veggies. Be aware almost anything there may have fish sauce in it, which is def not vegetarian.

It photographs beautifully. Unfortunately, restaurants aren't judged on lighting. We ordered everything upfront: Banh Xeo (explicitly no shrimp due to a shellfish allergy), Cha Gio, Pho Tai, and the Chef Special. Somehow, not everything was entered correctly. The Banh Xeo arrived covered in shrimp. Allergy clearly stated. It was sent back immediately. We were told they could remake it, but it would "take a while because it takes a long time to make." Banh Xeo takes under 10 minutes in a properly run kitchen. We declined and assumed the rest of our meal would arrive promptly. It didn't. The egg rolls weren't just fried, they were fully baptized in oil. One bite and it felt like chewing on a sponge that lost a fight with the fryer. Then we watched tables seated at least 15 minutes after us receive their food before we did. When we asked about the remainder of our order, we were told it had "just been added" and would take a while. Pho taking 35+ minutes in a Vietnamese restaurant isn't high volume. It's disorganization. The Chef Special was decent. The pho, which should be the backbone of the menu, was underwhelming. Several tables around us had incorrect orders or long delays. The owner circulated, but instead of urgency or accountability, the energy felt inconvenienced. Here's the reality: great atmosphere can draw people in once. Food and leadership bring them back. If you're going because it looks trendy and buzzing, go in with eyes open. The aesthetic might be the star of the room, but the food should be.

I like Vietnamese food, but the options are limited where I live- and the options for vegetarians are even MORE limited at most Vietnamese spots. This spot is different- they have a whole page of vegan options on the back of the menu. My vegan pho with tofu was wonderful, and I loved the kick from the chili oil. I also liked adding the pho toppings, and they brought us extra bean sprouts since my husband and I both love them. I didn't have anything to drink, but all of the drinks were super reasonably priced. My husband had a beer. The bar has everything you could want to drink as well as mocktails. The portions are large, and when we got to-go containers, the employees even brought us plastic bags to pack each container in, so nothing leaked on our walk home. That was a nice touch and well appreciated. My husband got a bahn mi for later, and it was also packaged well for a to-go item. Anise is a great choice for pho or other Vietnamese foods in Raleigh, and if I lived nearby, I'd be a regular here and try everything on the vegan menu.

We were seated right away, the server was super fun and friendly. There are for sure regulars that come here. The server knew a lot of people by name, for pick up orders and sitting inside. I however had the combination and bbq chicken Banh mi Sandwiches and the shrimp spring rolls. The spring roll was crispy on the outside but still frozen on the inside. They remade it and the outside tasted like burnt oil and the inside was still cold. The Banh mi Sandwiches were full of super fresh veggies, I loved that! The downside is the combination one had no Mayo so I had to ask for some. The other downside was that the bbq chicken one had no sauce at all and very little chicken. Again, the veggies were really crunchy and fresh which I loved. Overall I would for sure go back for the Pho, it was delicious. One of the best broths I've had at a Pho spot.

In the back, I did see after ordering a few without their masks on (if that's something you need to take in consideration, then take as needed). They woman that took my order, washed her hands and gave me a menu. She wanted to know if there was anything in particular I was looking for and if I would be dinning in or take out (if you do take-out, they ask that you make your order and then return to your car to await for the food). I explained I just wanted something to go and from there I looked over the menu. When I asked about how some of the items were prepared, she quickly explained and never gave any attitude or anything about my many questions. From my questions, she gathered that I wanted something along the lines of vegetarian and suggested about four different dishes that I might like. Since I wasn't tooooo hungry, I went with the Nem Chay Cuốn Bbq Vegi Spring Rolls (2): Soft rice paper wrapped around bbq Vegi, & lettuce, served with house special sauce. Total: $5.41 What a treat! These were so fresh and tasty! Great mixture of herbs, noodles, and tofu. Nothing was too overwhelming - all just right! The dipping sauce!!?! I could drink it (well, maybe just use it on MORE rolls!). From what I gathered from my visit, it was a good spot for something simple. I do have friend that comes here every time they come to town to order their shrimp fried rice - they state it is amazing. So, there are two dishes that I can tell you about - the rolls from my personal experience and the fried rice that my friend raves about without any shame!

For starters, we had the crispy chicken wings, spring rolls with veggies, and the lettuce wraps. We all enjoyed the chicken wings so much that we got a second order of them. I enjoyed the spring rolls much more than the lettuce wraps as they had more flavor to them. For dinner, we shared an order of the Manda Amphone's Curry and the chicken pad thai. I originally did not expect to be blown away by the pad thai - boy, was I wrong. This is hands down the best pad thai I have ever had. If you love pad thai, you need to try theirs.
