I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli for pickup- it has good flavor, but not the best I've ever had. The vermicelli is a bit like... white spaghetti, instead of the whiter thinner kind I'm used to. I have always heard great things about this place due to their pho. However, when hubby and I decide to stop by for a late lunch, we got the banh xeo and the BBQ pork banh mi. Both were mid. Which is unfortunate, since this is one of the only locations I have been to that serve banh xeo, and it is my FAVORITE vietnamese dish. The banh xeo was nowhere near cripsy as it should be, and the bean sprouts and protein filling were not seasoned. It was definitely a let down. The BBQ pork banh mi was also average. Per my husband, the pork and the pate did not taste as flavorful as described on Doordash. All that being said, the interior was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. This has been our go to Vietnamese restaurant for over ten years, through different owners, etc. Tonight's meal wasn't great and we won't be returning. They weren't super busy but we had to wait for tables to be bused. Also there was paper trash on the floor in multiple places. Our meals were brought at different times although we both ordered vermicelli bowls, one with pork, one with shrimp. The egg rolls were left off of one. The pork was fatty. The meals tasted ok but didn't make up for the rest of the meal. read more

I had an eye doctor appointment in the same shopping center and one of the employees there recommended this place. I decided to give it a shot when I returned to pick up my glasses, and oh my goodness! The pho broth was incredible. The broth makes or breaks pho for me, and theirs is so flavorful! I can't believe this is my first time here. The pork and shrimp spring rolls tasted fresh and the peanut sauce was sweet. I've been eating here since they opened and I could tell immediately that there had been changes. The menu is much shorter than it used to be so it looks more like a greatest hits list of Vietnamese food that appeals to non-Asians. The quality of the food is far below what it used to be. No nuoc mam with the spring rolls, just a terribly sweet chili sauce. I don't believe that the noodles in the bun bowl were rice noodles but they certainly were mushy and they were hot which is very unusual in what is normally a cold/room temperature dish. The pork tasted sautéed rather than grilled and it too was excessively sweet, especially without the grill char to offset it. The whole balance of the dish was wrong and with my eyes closed I probably could not have identified it for what it was. The pho broth was bland and just not much of anything. The noodles in that were also questionable. The plate of herbs that comes with it was maybe half the size it had been, making it all that much difficult to improve the taste of the pho. Service was slow and disjointed but polite and this isn't someplace you visit for the atmosphere. Sadly, it's also a place I will no longer be visiting for Vietnamese food. She said seat yourself. Lol it was like pulling teeth to get her to engage. Now for the food I came here to try the fried spring rolls and the pho with meatballs. Food is pretty pricey for the quality of the food. Spring rolls were very tiny and served with sweet chili sauce rather then the normal fish sauce. That was funny and not to my liking. As for the pho, very little noodles and so much oil in the broth was totally disgusting. I hate to complain so I didn't say anything about it. Needless because she never came back to the table. I called to see how long the wait was for 8 & the sweetest voice picked up, she said there was no wait so we drove right over. Maddie, the one who picked up the phone ended up being our server & she was absolutely wonderful!! She was soo attentive, soo patient & sweet even when our party was kind of needy (3 kids & 2 older lady). She even gave my kiddos stickers before we left, she definitely made our experience amazing!! THANK YOU, MADDIE!! The restaurant is super clean & the food is absolutely DELICIOUS!! & we are picky eaters that grew up in CA!! The price was very reasonable too for the portions that you get!! This is third pho place we've tried since moving to the area. It's the best so far Combination pho - XL - good portion size. Very nicely flavored. The bean sprout and basil are super fresh. Egg roll fried - slightly different from what I expected. The dipping sauce differs from the usual fish sauce vinegar combination. But the flavor was genuine. And the dipping sauce itself was different in a good way. Kid menu - fried rice with beef with no veggie. I'd rather they put some veggie in. But my son loved it as is. Maybe I will ask them for some veggies in it next time. Bahn mi with pork - the placement of Iran differ from what I've had in nyc. But all item are in and tasted good. Portion is just right as well.
