Great quick bowl of pho. Easy to order online, broth is flavorful and it's a solid price for the size bowl. Was pleased with the amount of meat and the bite of the noodle. I would have ranked it 5 stars if there were more toppings that came with it - like more herbs and sprouts. But overall, satisfying and will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

This has been our go to pho place. This is the best Pho in Raleigh and the service is great. Unfortunately the AC does not work making it unbearable. Do not come here on a hot day as you will be SWEATING. We will not be back to eat in until then AC problem has been addressed. Everyone around us eating had the same sentiment. Hopefully this can be addressed quickly!

Almost every time I'm in the area, I will stop by this place. Though I get the same thing each time I'm certain they have more delicious items. The service is nice, everyone is friendly and the ambiance is cozy. The Blossom Lychee tea is my favorite, sometimes I order multiple since we do not have anything like it where I live. I basically make my own Pho and order a side of spring rolls. Hits all the right spots. If you are ever in the area and craving Pho, give this place a try.

Went here because it was close to the hotel where we were staying and they had good reviews. I'm glad we chose this place, the pho was amazing! I had looked online and saw they had beer, but they do not. It's a nice size place but it filled up quickly. You order at the register and they bring out to you. I had the rare beef pho and it was delicious, side note: all the toppings come in the bowl instead of on the side. Had I known that I would have said no bean sprouts but it was still good. My friend had the house special pho and she said it was the best broth she has had at a pho restaurant and we also ordered the crispy pork spring rolls. It was very quiet inside just laughter from patrons and people enjoying their food. I saw several people come in and pick up their order, and they were greeted like they were regulars. I would definitely go back if I'm in the area!

This is a great place to quickly satisfy a noodle soup craving. I had the well done beef pho and it was delicious. The portion size was great and the service was fast. This is a good spot to stop for a quick lunch or dinner while shopping in the Brier Creek area.

I ordered Pho Noodle Soup with pork. Let's start with the chefs are older Vietnamese folks so I knew it would be authentic. The flavor is perfect. Service was fast and easy. Vibe inside is super clean, modern and authentic decor. Also the price is more than fair. You should come try it.

I came here on a Sunday morning for brunch. After looking at pho restaurants in the area, this place seemed to be one of the highest rated spots. The restaurant was well decorated and had ample seating. We ordered at counter and they brought out the pho to us pretty quickly. I ordered the pho dac biet which is my go-to at any pho restaurant. I liked how they gave lots of tripe in their dish. Overall I thought the pho was good and will be back.

I'm really disappointed by my experience at Pho Xpress today. When I started eating my pho, I realized there were 13 jalapeño slices placed directly in the soup. I had to sit there picking them out one by one. What made it worse was that three teen employees appeared to be giggling from behind the counter while I did it. It genuinely felt like I was being pranked. I left feeling upset that someone would think this was funny. I hope management addresses this, because no customer should feel like the joke of someone's shift.

This is my favorite pho I've ever had. The broth is so flavorful and the service is so kind. I love the cleanliness and the ambiance in there as well it's very cozy. I've been many times now and will continue to do so!

It photographs beautifully. Unfortunately, restaurants aren't judged on lighting. We ordered everything upfront: Banh Xeo (explicitly no shrimp due to a shellfish allergy), Cha Gio, Pho Tai, and the Chef Special. Somehow, not everything was entered correctly. The Banh Xeo arrived covered in shrimp. Allergy clearly stated. It was sent back immediately. We were told they could remake it, but it would "take a while because it takes a long time to make." Banh Xeo takes under 10 minutes in a properly run kitchen. We declined and assumed the rest of our meal would arrive promptly. It didn't. The egg rolls weren't just fried, they were fully baptized in oil. One bite and it felt like chewing on a sponge that lost a fight with the fryer. Then we watched tables seated at least 15 minutes after us receive their food before we did. When we asked about the remainder of our order, we were told it had "just been added" and would take a while. Pho taking 35+ minutes in a Vietnamese restaurant isn't high volume. It's disorganization. The Chef Special was decent. The pho, which should be the backbone of the menu, was underwhelming. Several tables around us had incorrect orders or long delays. The owner circulated, but instead of urgency or accountability, the energy felt inconvenienced. Here's the reality: great atmosphere can draw people in once. Food and leadership bring them back. If you're going because it looks trendy and buzzing, go in with eyes open. The aesthetic might be the star of the room, but the food should be.

I like Vietnamese food, but the options are limited where I live- and the options for vegetarians are even MORE limited at most Vietnamese spots. This spot is different- they have a whole page of vegan options on the back of the menu. My vegan pho with tofu was wonderful, and I loved the kick from the chili oil. I also liked adding the pho toppings, and they brought us extra bean sprouts since my husband and I both love them. I didn't have anything to drink, but all of the drinks were super reasonably priced. My husband had a beer. The bar has everything you could want to drink as well as mocktails. The portions are large, and when we got to-go containers, the employees even brought us plastic bags to pack each container in, so nothing leaked on our walk home. That was a nice touch and well appreciated. My husband got a bahn mi for later, and it was also packaged well for a to-go item. Anise is a great choice for pho or other Vietnamese foods in Raleigh, and if I lived nearby, I'd be a regular here and try everything on the vegan menu.

We were seated right away, the server was super fun and friendly. There are for sure regulars that come here. The server knew a lot of people by name, for pick up orders and sitting inside. I however had the combination and bbq chicken Banh mi Sandwiches and the shrimp spring rolls. The spring roll was crispy on the outside but still frozen on the inside. They remade it and the outside tasted like burnt oil and the inside was still cold. The Banh mi Sandwiches were full of super fresh veggies, I loved that! The downside is the combination one had no Mayo so I had to ask for some. The other downside was that the bbq chicken one had no sauce at all and very little chicken. In the back, I did see after ordering a few without their masks on (if that's something you need to take in consideration, then take as needed). She wanted to know if there was anything in particular I was looking for and if I would be dinning in or take out (if you do take-out, they ask that you make your order and then return to your car to await for the food). I explained I just wanted something to go and from there I looked over the menu. When I asked about how some of the items were prepared, she quickly explained and never gave any attitude or anything about my many questions. From my questions, she gathered that I wanted something along the lines of vegetarian and suggested about four different dishes that I might like. Since I wasn't tooooo hungry, I went with the Nem Chay Cuốn Bbq Vegi Spring Rolls (2): Soft rice paper wrapped around bbq Vegi, & lettuce, served with house special sauce. Total: $5.41 What a treat! These were so fresh and tasty! Great mixture of herbs, noodles, and tofu. Nothing was too overwhelming - all just right! The dipping sauce!!?! I could drink it (well, maybe just use it on MORE rolls!). From what I gathered from my visit, it was a good spot for something simple. I do have friend that comes here every time they come to town to order their shrimp fried rice - they state it is amazing. For starters, we had the crispy chicken wings, spring rolls with veggies, and the lettuce wraps. We all enjoyed the chicken wings so much that we got a second order of them. I enjoyed the spring rolls much more than the lettuce wraps as they had more flavor to them. For dinner, we shared an order of the Manda Amphone's Curry and the chicken pad thai.
