Great quick bowl of pho. Easy to order online, broth is flavorful and it's a solid price for the size bowl. Was pleased with the amount of meat and the bite of the noodle. I would have ranked it 5 stars if there were more toppings that came with it - like more herbs and sprouts. But overall, satisfying and will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

The service is nice, everyone is friendly and the ambiance is cozy. The Blossom Lychee tea is my favorite, sometimes I order multiple since we do not have anything like it where I live. I basically make my own Pho and order a side of spring rolls. Hits all the right spots. If you are ever in the area and craving Pho, give this place a try.
This has been our go to pho place. This is the best Pho in Raleigh and the service is great. Unfortunately the AC does not work making it unbearable. Do not come here on a hot day as you will be SWEATING. We will not be back to eat in until then AC problem has been addressed. Everyone around us eating had the same sentiment. Hopefully this can be addressed quickly!

Went here because it was close to the hotel where we were staying and they had good reviews. I'm glad we chose this place, the pho was amazing! I had looked online and saw they had beer, but they do not. It's a nice size place but it filled up quickly. You order at the register and they bring out to you. I had the rare beef pho and it was delicious, side note: all the toppings come in the bowl instead of on the side. Had I known that I would have said no bean sprouts but it was still good. My friend had the house special pho and she said it was the best broth she has had at a pho restaurant and we also ordered the crispy pork spring rolls. It was very quiet inside just laughter from patrons and people enjoying their food. I saw several people come in and pick up their order, and they were greeted like they were regulars. I would definitely go back if I'm in the area!
This is a great place to quickly satisfy a noodle soup craving. I had the well done beef pho and it was delicious. The portion size was great and the service was fast. This is a good spot to stop for a quick lunch or dinner while shopping in the Brier Creek area.
I'm really disappointed by my experience at Pho Xpress today. When I started eating my pho, I realized there were 13 jalapeño slices placed directly in the soup. I had to sit there picking them out one by one. What made it worse was that three teen employees appeared to be giggling from behind the counter while I did it. It genuinely felt like I was being pranked. I left feeling upset that someone would think this was funny. I hope management addresses this, because no customer should feel like the joke of someone's shift.
I came here on a Sunday morning for brunch. After looking at pho restaurants in the area, this place seemed to be one of the highest rated spots. The restaurant was well decorated and had ample seating. We ordered at counter and they brought out the pho to us pretty quickly. I ordered the pho dac biet which is my go-to at any pho restaurant. I liked how they gave lots of tripe in their dish. Overall I thought the pho was good and will be back.
I ordered Pho Noodle Soup with pork. Let's start with the chefs are older Vietnamese folks so I knew it would be authentic. The flavor is perfect. Service was fast and easy. Vibe inside is super clean, modern and authentic decor. Also the price is more than fair. You should come try it.
This is my favorite pho I've ever had. The broth is so flavorful and the service is so kind. I love the cleanliness and the ambiance in there as well it's very cozy. I've been many times now and will continue to do so!
Pros: cheap, broth is good on its own but can be oily. Perfect amount of broth, meat, toppings. Fast friendly service! For NC, this place is solid. Cons: egg roll meat is cooked first? Then lightly fried? Idk why they do this but the meat tasted off and the egg rolls wrapper were very stale. I would t get egg rolls here, doesn't feel homemade Ambiance is super cute and ordering is fast! They have self serve water Our main gripe is that we are from Southern California so it' was really weird to have that type of egg roll served. Also the rare beef is sliced very thick compared to the west coast. This causes it to be a chewier bite than we are used to. Flavors solid but the details are what makes you better than others! My husband and I stopped in here for boba after a relaxing time at the foot spa next door. It was busy for 4pm on a Saturday! We just wanted boba and it did not disappoint- lots of flavors to choose from but we both got coconut. Want to go back to try their pho! read more

Very pretty inside of the restaurant and the music was so relaxing. They were closing soon but we got our food in less than 10 minutes and the staff was friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious. Will definitely be back again. read more

Im obsessed with this place. I'm not from NC but I think this is a nice little gem. The inside is so cute and aesthetic. The workers are so nice and hardworking. They are very fast. I got the brisket pho, the brisket was kinda poor quality and super fatty so that was disappointing also, they put such small amount of beef in there so I took a star off. The pho broth was delicious. I also ordered a taro milk tea to go. It wasn't overall sweet like most spots serve which was really nice. The tapioca not weird and chew. I really recommend read more

I really wish we loved this place but we probably wouldn't come back. This is a Saturday afternoon experience during the winter season, so it was extremely busy! First, parking was surprisingly easy to find. There is plenty of parking around the area! We walk in, you look up and wow it was beautifully done. You almost felt like you weren't in Raleigh anymore (refer to my photo). It was so busy that we had to find a table before we got to order and normally you'd order first before sitting down here. We found the only table available but NO chairs at it. So we had to scramble looking for chairs and the employees didn't even bother to help. In fact, they started taking chairs from us, not sure why, but we nicely told them that those chairs were for the table we were sitting at. Now that we have secured the table, we're in line to order. It was so narrow for how busy it was that I wouldn't recommend bringing a stroller in here if you have a baby/toddler. We had our Doona stroller and thankfully that was small enough to fit getting around the small restaurant. The menu was very easy to order but the employee who was ringing us up, didn't look at me once, talk to me, nothing. It was very busy in there yes, but it seems to me these employees don't know how to work under stress or with a large amount of customers? Customer service is huge to me, as I've worked in customer service for years and expect it to be good. I ordered the beef pho. The food was good. Nothing really wow'd us about the food. The portion was smaller than what we expected compared to other pho restaurants we've been to and we've been to A LOT. They only gave me three pieces of beef in there and that was sad.... Haha. I just wouldn't recommend this spot to groups bigger than 4 because it may be hard to find a table on a weekend. I also wouldn't recommend this spot to be kid friendly. I had kids between the age 2 months - 6 years old and it just wasn't ideal for us and too crammed. I'm giving this place THREE STARS because it wasn't a terrible experience but we wouldn't go back or recommend it to our family and friends. read more

Pho Xpress gets a solid four stars out of my wife and me. In general, we thought the food was good and service by Ian was great. This is a fast-casual Vietnamese restaurant located in the Alexander Place shopping center, across the parking lot from Walmart. Pho Xpress opened in May 2016. There are two other "Pho Xpress" restaurants in Texas, one of which also features in its logo a bowl and chopsticks to form the "X" in Xpress. I wonder if they are or were related at some point. During our visit to this Pho Xpress in Raleigh on a Thursday around 7pm, both the restaurant and shopping center were quite busy. This appears to be a popular place. We dined in. For most of the duration of our stay, the dining room was mostly at capacity. There were numerous takeout orders too, both online and walk-up. We'd actually originally planned to go to Mekong Vietnamese restaurant in nearby Morrisville, but when Mekong was unexpectedly closed, I found Pho Xpress by doing a quick Yelp search on my phone. The two restaurants are only a couple miles (7-10 minutes) from each other. Right off the bat, by its looks, Pho Xpress struck me as a mediocre "Americanized" Vietnamese restaurant. However, I decided to go with Pho Xpress based on its four-star average Yelp rating with 271 reviews at the time. I'm happy to report Yelp didn't steer us wrong here. As mentioned above, this is a fast-casual place where you order at the register. If dining in, you take a number and they'll bring the food to your table. They have two registers. Drinks are self-serve from a fridge behind the counter. The interior is nicely decorated in Vietnamese fashion. It's not a terribly big restaurant, but it's not tiny either. I guesstimate the dining room can seat about 40, maybe 50 customers, comfortably. There's additional seating outside too. The outdoor patio is uncovered. The atmosphere is very much casual. There are two storefronts and entrances. It's easier to find parking on the Walmart side of the restaurant. Pho Xpress serves all the "casual" Vietnamese staples: pho noodle soup, banh mi sandwiches, bun rice vermicelli noodle bowls, fresh spring/summer rolls, and rice plates. Expect to spend at least about $11-15 per meal here. For example, at the time of our visit, most bowls of pho were priced at $12.50 and $13.50 each, one size only. At first, my wife and I thought the banh mi prices were expensive. The prices were anywhere from $10.50 to $12.50 per sandwich. Those prices made more sense after we realized the sandwiches are big (at least the one we got) and come with a bowl of beef broth (same as the pho broth, I think) and a fried egg roll with dipping sauce. Pho Xpress also serves drinks like Vietnamese coffee ($5.25) and bubble tea (about $7 per serving, one size only). Here's what we got: * Pho Dac Biet / House Special Pho ($14.50) - rice noodles, bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, jalapeno, lime, onion, scallions, rare beef, meatballs, brisket, and tendon; served with Sriracha and hoisin sauces * Banh Mi Dac Biet / House Special Banh Mi ($12.50) - mayonnaise, coconut spread, cucumber, pickled carrots and daikon radish, cilantro, jalapeno, grilled pork, fried egg, and avocado; served with a fried egg roll, dipping sauce, and a side of beef broth with scallions * Bun Dac Biet / House Special Bun Bowl ($14.50) - grilled chicken, rice vermicelli, cucumber, bean sprouts, lettuce, purple cabbage, basil, pickled carrots and daikon, fried scallions, peanuts, shrimp, and fried egg rolls with sauce * Fresh Spring/Summer Rolls (3 rolls for $10.95) - grilled beef, rice vermicelli, cucumber, bean sprouts, lettuce, purple cabbage, basil, and peanut sauce Everything was tasty. I recommend all of the items listed above. With the sandwiches, vermicelli noodle bowls, and rolls, you have several protein options: pork, chicken, beef, tofu, pork belly, shrimp, and avocado. Note the pork belly isn't available for the noodle bowl. What impressed us most about the pho was the broth. It was more flavorful and savory than I expected. I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's among the most complex pho broths I've tasted - there weren't enough floral nor herby notes for that - but it was yummy for sure. As noted above, I think the broth they served on the side with the banh mi was also pho broth. It was good. While some of my favorite, more "authentic" pho dac biet ingredients were missing (beef tripe, culantro), I thought overall, Pho Xpress' pho dac biet was delicious and satisfying. The quality of the noodles and meats was A-OK. The Sriracha and hoisin sauces were a must. The Banh Mi Dac Biet was huge, flavorful, and filling. The sandwich was so big, it was hard to eat like a sandwich. The ingredients were on point. The Bun Dac Biet and the Fresh Rolls were similar because they shared many of the same ingredients. The fried egg rolls were crispy and terrific. I noticed the noodles in the bun were already lightly marinated, which is uncommon. read more

The first impression when you walk in is their very nice decoration to bring some Vietnamese culture to you. And the smell of pho is filled the air. Just smelling it I know the pho is gonna be good. We both ordered Special Pho. To simplify: - broth is good - rare beef is even better - noodle is a little stick together but I accept it. Fresh pho with higher quality won't have this issue. - no bean sprouts, basil is served with it, but available upon request. When I request the veggie, they even give slice white onions, extra green onions and cilantro. This is what I'm in love. Oh also, I ordered a matcha milk tea and it was nice as well. Good pho in a nice and clean dining environment. I have been looking for my go-to pho place in the triangle area. Although pho xpress sounds not as authentic given its name (usually I searched for restaurants named pho plus a number), the pho here tasted good and full of umami flavors. The beef brisket was very tender as well. It will not be my last time here, look forward to exploring different dishes in pho xpress. read more
