I'd been craving a bánh mì, and since this spot is just minutes from my house, it made for an easy choice for a family takeout night. The ambience here is really nice--clean, modern, and a great atmosphere for dining. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite hit the mark for me. The pho broth wasn't very authentic and leaned on the saltier side. Customer service started off pleasant, but it dipped a bit when my server took the hoisin and sriracha directly from my table to give to another table right as my food arrived, which felt awkward. The food was a pleasant surprise/experience albeit not authentically Vietnamese and definitely more Asian inspired dishes. We ordered the M5 garlic ginger chicken rice plate which was very tasty. I highly recommend it! We also ordered the M7 aka wonton dry noodles and they were a bit mushy and the chicken option we opted for tasted like repurposed Costco rotisserie so that was a disappointment. It came with a bowl of broth and "wontons" which looked like store bought frozen dumplings and only comes with 2 in the bowl along with a couple carrot slices and some broccoli. The dish comes with bok choy on the side which had a decent flavor, a bit gingery and hoisiny and tasted like chicken broth too but also a tad overdone. I loved my dish (the beef slow cook) BUT there was hardly any tendon or meat so the description was somewhat misleading. The flavors were definitely on point but meat was meager and it comes with lime and jalapeño and has bok choy and carrot in it. It seems more like fusion cooking as opposed to traditional Vietnamese cuisine but it's pretty yummy and something I could see myself eating on the regular without getting sick of it. I mean, they have fries, hush puppies, and crab Rangoon available as sides. It doesn't get more western than that haha The service was really slow and took about 25 mins for the food to come out (maybe even half an hour). This seemed to be true for everyone dining in the restaurant. The takeout orders were ready somewhat quickly though. The way you order feels like fast food dining but the ambience and way the restaurant is laid out feels like a sit down restaurant with table service. We chose to sit in the sofa/couch/ottoman style seating for those who prefer a cozy couch dining experience. I wouldn't recommend it for those with kids because they absolutely will jump on it. I feel like the restaurant would look nicer without this type of seating but as far as comfort, obviously I gravitated towards it. The sticky rice dishes sounded good. I'll try that next time. Probably with bbq or grilled pork. Oh, they also allow you to drink your beverages from the sneaky penguin next door which is super cool of them. read more

We haven't visited this restaurant since their opening month and thought we would try it for a warm meal on a cold winter night that is preparing for winter weather warnings. We ordered online and chose pick up, the receipt reflects the order. We arrived 10 minutes before the pick up time. We went inside & There was only table with a family finishing up their meal and playing with their small children. Our order was not ready. The staff behind the counter became flustered at out , checked between the TWO tickets & told us it would be several minutes., then she ran into the back. We sat in some soft comfy chairs for the wait. Looking at the general area, this shopping strip had several units up for lease & the general area was bleak. We had stopped in the Dollar General next door and it was a disaster zone with shelves un-stocked or knocked onto the floor; but that is another review...The order was filled in less than 10 and another staff person asked us about utensils and sauces. We headed out for home. The food was hot and all the trimmings were fresh & plentiful. The spicy broth delivered on the flavor, where the plain veggie broth was a bit bland. The menu also does not offer fish balls, which I thought were fairly common for the dish. The review rating reflects the blatant inaccuracy of the order and the lack of follow up from them . The order specified one tofu and one beefsteak Both proteins were tofu! We called to let them know and their solution was to come back out to get it. A 30-35 minute trip to do so was not going to happen. We were cold and hungry! Upon reflection, I wonder why Pho Sure did not deliver the missing item to make up for their error. read more

I was craving pho and decided to try Pho Sure for dinner. I ordered the spicy pho with the beefsteak & meatball pho combo but received only meatballs. The meatballs were not very good and I kept getting pieces of fat stuck in my teeth. The dish was also not very spicy which was disappointing and I paid an additional $2 for extra vegetables. If my bowl contained "extra" vegetables, there must not be many veggies in their normal bowl. Honestly, the fresh pork roll was the best part of my meal. I came here with my coworkers for the soft opening tonight to try their pho ($10.95) and spring rolls. We met the owners of the restaurant, a sweet Vietnamese couple who said that their pho broth takes 9 hours to make! The interior is trendy, clean, and I loved the art on the walls. The menu is clear and easy to read and I decided to try the beefsteak pho. I didn't see the usual "combination" pho of meatball, beef brisket, and tendon that is sometimes offered at other pho restaurants. Other pho options included meatball, chicken breast, and seafood. They also have Vietnamese coffee, smoothies, and various drinks like ginger sparkling water (which tasted similar to ginger beer!). We enjoyed the shrimp spring rolls and the "Mix SS" sauce which is a combination of soy sauce, sugar, water, and vinegar---I wanted to dip everything in it, not just the rolls. The beef pho broth was amaaaazing. Like, the best of the pho restaurants I've been to in the Triangle area. It was very rich, hearty, filling, bursting with yummy flavors including cilantro, and I drank the whole thing. The bowl came with a moderate serving of rice noodles, and a small dish of bean sprouts/lime/hot pepper on the side that you can add in yourself. They have the usual srirarcha and hoisin sauce for dipping. The beef chunks were tender and melt-in-your-mouth, different than the thinly sliced rare beef that I'm used to in pho, but it was a nice change. My coworker and her daughter enjoyed the honey chicken sticky rice bowl which looked delicious as well. Come try the pho here! The broth alone is worth it. read more

The place is very clean and the employees are professional and courteous. They have a number of lunch specials that are priced accordingly. Their fresh spring rolls are outstanding. You order at the counter and theb they bring your door to you at the table. The food comes out to you at a good pace. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE FOOD & SERVICE!!! RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL OWNER! My dish was not what I ordered with its meager portion of mostly cheap noodles and fried "lemongrass chicken". It lacked flavor and was uncolorful. I'm used to eating excellent Vietnamese food like at SAIGON PHO! I explained that I did not like the quality and portion of the dish was measly. I was treated with rudeness, I never asked how it could be made better. Really?! I work in the service industry, and this is not how you deal with customers. Especially, if you value loyal, repeat business. A small bowl of mostly cheap rice noodles with no meat is not worth being rude to the customer. The owner made a big scene, and even came back to tell her in front of me to just "throw it in the trash!" Which, why does this need to be explained? Would they possibly serve it to another customer as an option? She made a big huff to refund me, & kept on going on about "next time..." At that point, I told her they will not be a "next time". Plenty of rice noodles, generous bean sprout, basil, and lime add ins, and lots of wonderful broth. I had the choice of chicken breast, tofu, shrimp, beefsteak, beef meatball, or combo beefsteak and meatball. I went with the beefsteak, which came sliced moderately thin and tender. The restaurant in nice and they have comfortable seats. I was underwhelmed by the food. Pho is my favorite and I eat it often here in Raleigh and love to try new places as I travel. I got the beef pho and added meatballs since there was no combination option and the House spring rolls. After spending $20 on lunch, the spring rolls had almost no meat in them, the peanut sauce was extremely thick, the pho was greasy and the noodles over cooked. And not to mention I had to get all of my sauce, napkins, and refill my water myself. It sounds bougee but for $20 I should at least have a real plate and my water refilled. read more
