The staff here were welcoming and pleasant. My bowl was made to order. I enjoyed the Seoul Bowl with delicious and well seasoned Bulgogi beef, kimchi slaw, kale mix, zucchini, pickled red onions, pickled carrots, fried egg, sesame seeds, scallions, white sauce, and gochujang sauce. This place would've gotten 5 stars if I had reviewed it the first few times I ate there years ago but unfortunately when I ate there the other day, it seemed like they changed their delicious purple forbidden rice for regular white rice. Honestly, the purple rice they used to do made the whole dish. It was so delicious paired with everything. The flavor and crispiness of their chicken and the rest of the ingredients are still good, it just doesn't pair as well with the white rice. Or at least since I have something to compare it to, it doesn't. I'm very sad and I hope they go back to the other one. I ordered the Thai rice bowl which had grilled Thai basil chicken, red pepper, pickled carrots & radish, eggplants, zucchini, cilantro, chopped peanuts, panang curry sauce, and Thai basil sauce. Delish! It had just the right amount of spicy zing and lots of flavor. I will say the black rice was a little different visually, but I was full by the time I finished. This was a fun blend of different flavors and textures, and delicious. Chunks of breaded chicked, fried and tossed in a ginger glaze are served atop a bed of perfectly cooked sticky black rice. Garnishes included small squares of cabbage, sliced red peppers, halved unseeded cucumbers in a spicy mayo and scallions, finished with crispy onions, sesame seeds and a splash of ginger sauce. Each bite featured little sweet, a little tart, a little spice and a pleasing almost-crunch of rice. The only thing to improve this one might've been an extra shot of a savory sauce. Still - a delicious bowl. There are 10 bowls on the menu, plus a couple of appetizer-like choices. Surprisingly there are no fish choices. In a poke-style spot, I would have expected some spicy tuna! Overall pretty tasty! I got the Seoul bowl and it was really filling and PACKED with flavor. Was about a 10 minute wait or so from when I ordered to when I got it, through the pager system. I'm not sure if it is meant to be cold, but it was definitely not warm either when I received it. Still, the taste was good! The only other thing I was not super fond of was that it was really sticky and thick, and could use some more crunch and "fresh" vegetables. But again, flavors were great! Located in the Morgan Street Food Hall, this station is located right in the middle of the floorplan and overlooks the entrance to the outdoor space. I explored all of my options at various other stations but ended up being drawn to the Seoul bowl. It's basically a slight variation of a bulgogi bibimbap dish. Upon placing my order I was given a small buzzer and after only a few minutes later my buzzer went off. I was very pleasantly surprised by my selection. I was instantly blown away by the authentic bursts of flavor that hit my pallette. The beef was so tender and flavorful. The gojuchang was not too overpowering and really gave the bowl the extra kick that it deserved. The shaved slices of radish gave the dish a tangy and sweet addition. And the rest of the ingredients were fresh, light and crisp. Overall I was very impressed with the powerful punch this "little bowl" delivered. It was not small in portion size by any means, but quite the contrary, so I want to be sure to clarify this. I am definitely a fan of this mighty bowl and I urge anyone interested in sampling Korean food to please give them a try. read more

The service was fast and we were given a buzzer to let us know when our order was ready. Not a huge selection of bowls although I'm sure you can customize them. I had the Thai Basil Chicken bowl. Poke is also available if you don't mind raw fish. I opted for grilled chicken with veggies like eggplant, pickled radish and carrots and an awesome purple rice in my flavorful bowl. It was filling, healthy, and delicious. The only negative--a little pricey @ $12.50. We ate outdoors on a picnic table socially distanced from others and located near a bottle of hand sanitizer and the bar, which was open providing full service. Had the Tokyo bowl for lunch today. It was ready in under 5 minutes as we were there about 11:45am on a Sunday. The rice was piping hot and flavorful. The teriyaki chicken was yummy. The bowl also included green onions, sweet potatoes (which were a pleasant surprise and filling), & kale salad (which had a sweet treat of cranberries). The only Component I didn't love was the corn as it tasted like it came from a can. If this was roasted with the sweet potatoes, it would a fab addition.
