This Pho was gooood . It took a little bit to come out, but that just told me they were making it with love back there. And when it came out, it did not disappoint. Everything was super fresh. I could tell that the brisket was still cooking in the broth. The flank was super tender. And the broth was very well seasoned The Banh Mi was loaded and the bread was fresh and had a perfect crunch

My go-to Vietnamese spot in Richmond. Other people may have different preferences and I tried other Vietnamese restaurants (I've visited Vietnam too), but I will always come back to pho so 1. I have been going for a longgg time as my family would take me here when I was little (i remember when pho so 1 used to be on Horsepen road). I don't come here for the service or restaurant ambiance or whatever. I come here for delicious food. The pho broth is light and flavorful - I always order the #15. I highly recommend to also try other noodle dishes as well. During the summer , I really enjoy the cold vermicelli noodle bowl with grilled pork and egg roll (#29 on menu). This is my go-to spot for Vietnamese food (can't change my opinion) and I will always come back.

My dad went to pho so 1 in Richmond, VA while going shopping up there and went to get take out so got some bun thit nuoung (grilled pork vermicelli) and beef and pork com tam(broken rice) It's not his first time there he been many times to order take out and he bought some home its spacious inside and clean and big. The service is pretty nice. I ate the bun thit noung at home the next day for breakfast and the grilled pork was grilled with great flavor and the rice was soft and the shredded lettuce was a bit too much. the pickled carrots and daikon was good flavor. The meal was great

Food is good but our table got charged for an extra bowl of Pho that we didn't order. After splitting, they gave the last bill an extra bowl even though each of us ordered 1 bowl.

Pho Dac Biet #5 in their menu... highly recommend it.

The food is really tasty, the people are very friendly and the place is tidy... I drive 1 hour just to get their # 5 noodles pho , love it

I ordered a #1 combo pho, but I don't see any rare steak in my bowl. The bowl looks like a small, but I was charged for a large bowl. My bowl of pho looked like it's just broth and no solids. I had to come back to eat again so I can take pictures for you guys to see I'm not joking about the portion

All the food is pretty good and will satisfy your Vietnamese cravings. I come here often. They have a lot of seating so there's rarely a wait and they can handle big groups. The food is worth 5 stars but their service is lacking. I usually order cha gio, pho tai, com dau hu, and/or Thai tea bubble tea. The food comes out pretty fast. They are very generous with the meat in the pho. I always have to remind them about my bubble tea so it doesn't come until I've finished my meal. Their bubble teas are slushes and aren't going to be the best you can get. Once you're done, you pay at the register.

My favorite Pho in Rva. The restaurant can accommodate a huge party and the food is well portioned and flavorful. The only thing I don't like is that the menu on the website is several years old. Menu as of 10/18/2023.

Best pho in richmond. Cheaper than chipotle, super quick. I recommend the #11! I love it here. A large pho bowl is $7.75. Can't beat it!

I read about it on a Northern VA Foodie Facebook group and just happened to be staying in the area the next day, so I stopped in with a coworker who really loves Pho too. It's a small house in a neighborhood filled with similar sized houses, but it was easy to find, as it was the only 'house' on the street with a large parking lot, which was packed! I walked in and the inside was packed too, and that was around 1PM. But I was immediately greeted and he said he'd clean a table for us. We sat down and checked the menu and I was happy to see such a huge variety of so many Vietnamese delights, not just lots of Pho, but different styles of entrées and appetizers too. I tried their Phở Tái (thinly sliced, rare, beef eye round) and my coworker got Phở Ga (chicken Pho). We also started with their pork crispy spring roll and their summer roll. Both rolls were really tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The Pho we ordered was beautifully served and tasted great! The richness and depth of flavor in the Phở Tái was so nice. The accoutrement that came with the Pho was extremely fresh. Overall, this was a very nice experience. Food quality and flavor were spot on. Service was Very Friendly and Great! Just bring ca$h, because that's the only way you can pay there. But go, give 'em a try!

Interior is not huge, but adequate for today at least. The gentleman at the counter greeted us and was full of energy and enthusiasm. Food was ordered and delivered promptly. I have a good appetite, and a small size filled me up! I had a flank & brisket noodle soup, wife had the shrimp. Both broths were delicious, lightly seasoned and obviously simmered for a long time. Prices were very reasonable and we look forward to trying other options in the future!

I settled with Pho Sate after looking through Yelp pictures, and it did not disappoint! I finished every drop of the broth as it was hitting so hard. Service was attentive, organized, and pretty quick for such a large party. Open layout with plenty of seating, so it felt comfortable even with a group our size. It's a Vietnamese spot, so if that's your vibe I could see it being a good place to check out. I normally order Pho , which was pretty decent, and also tried the dumplings. The dumplings weren't really my thing, but the menu is huge and has a-lot to choose from. Overall, based on this first experience, it's probably not a place I'd personally go out of my way to recommend, but if you enjoy Vietnamese food and are looking for a solid spot to grab a bite, it could be worth trying.

Soup isn't a meal -- it's a thick beverage. Like a milkshake, but made of tomatoes and eaten while a grilled cheese sandwich watches in judgment. Pho is different. Pho isn't just a hunger suppressant -- it's an activity. Like dipping fries in ketchup or doing fondue. You get to cosplay as the chef while the restaurant acts as your sous chef. They gather the materials; you do the real work. Want lightly cooked tripe? Pull it out early. Want thoroughly cooked brisket? Let it soak. Want to eat an entire garden with your meat? If your pho sucks, that's on you -- take notes and do better next time. If it's amazing? Congratulations. You are now a world-class Pho-er. This is exactly why I like pho to go. In the restaurant, the chefs behind the counter assume you're a n00b and finish it for you. At home, you control your destiny. PHO 95 Hai Ky Mi Gia hits all the right marks for me. I also ordered the crispy pork egg rolls. They're what you'd expect -- probably the same supplier as half the restaurants in America -- but the key difference is they didn't overcook them.
