I'm excited to see another Vietnamese restaurant open in Midlothian! Our group ordered a bunch of foods, but I was so hungry, I only took photos of mine! We had: - fresh pork and shrimp spring rolls - this was very good and fresh, it tasted like it was made to order and provided you with a good portion of shrimp and pork. They used bbq pork in this instead of the usual plain/boiled pork other restaurants use. Not a bad thing, just thought I'd mention it since it was unexpected! - bun thit nuong cha gio (vermicelli noodles with bbq pork and fried egg rolls) - this was beautifully presented and it was a big portion. The eggrolls and pork had very good flavor. The pork was a bit too dry, especially compared the the pork that was used in the spring rolls. - com tam bu suon cha (broken rice with grilled pork chop, shredded pork skin and pork cake) - my partner has this and he really liked it! It also included a couple pieces of fried shrimp paste wrapped in bean curd which was pretty tasty as well! - bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and pho - I took a sip of both broths and they were both flavorful. The portions were big that half of them didn't finish their meal, they give you a lot of noodles! I can't wait to go back to try them. All in all, give this restaurant a try - the service is great, decor was beautiful and I took a peek at their drink menu and it looks delicious!

Literally one of the best viet food in Chesterfield. It is extremely spacious and it's decorated so well. The staff is so nice and kind. The food is incredible, each dish had so much flavorful and is authentic to Vietnamese cuisine. I went when they first soft launched and then kept coming back for more!

This place is a hidden gem!!! The food was SO SO tasty. Genuinely one of the best vermicelli bowls i've ever had. The thai tea was great too. Has a gorgeous inside with spacious seating, but the only downside is the service was a bit slow and menu is kinda confusing with repeats. I hope to be back

Really enjoyed the meal! The pork had great flavor. The egg rolls weren't my favorite. Very sweet wait staff.

Chicken pho

This place is amazing!! I get the chicken pho and it is to die for! The broth is super flavorful and the chicken is like sliced breast and not shredded! I also tried the rocket shrimp and it was amazing! Crispy and not too much filling in the inside. The service is great! Very fast and not too hovering! The restaurant is very clean and up to date! I would definitely be coming back often!

Pho Bo Vien (Meatball pho)

Warm welcome. Server answered questions we had patiently and friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. We ordered several dishes, Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup), Pho Bo Vien (meatball pho) Pho Ap Chao(Seafood Panfried Noodles). All were large dishes and we left with left overs. The flavors were rich and tasty. Will return again over and over.

I read about it on a Northern VA Foodie Facebook group and just happened to be staying in the area the next day, so I stopped in with a coworker who really loves Pho too. It's a small house in a neighborhood filled with similar sized houses, but it was easy to find, as it was the only 'house' on the street with a large parking lot, which was packed! I walked in and the inside was packed too, and that was around 1PM. But I was immediately greeted and he said he'd clean a table for us. We sat down and checked the menu and I was happy to see such a huge variety of so many Vietnamese delights, not just lots of Pho, but different styles of entrées and appetizers too. I tried their Phở Tái (thinly sliced, rare, beef eye round) and my coworker got Phở Ga (chicken Pho). We also started with their pork crispy spring roll and their summer roll. Both rolls were really tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The Pho we ordered was beautifully served and tasted great! The richness and depth of flavor in the Phở Tái was so nice. The accoutrement that came with the Pho was extremely fresh. Overall, this was a very nice experience. Food quality and flavor were spot on. Service was Very Friendly and Great! Just bring ca$h, because that's the only way you can pay there. But go, give 'em a try!

Interior is not huge, but adequate for today at least. The gentleman at the counter greeted us and was full of energy and enthusiasm. Food was ordered and delivered promptly. I have a good appetite, and a small size filled me up! I had a flank & brisket noodle soup, wife had the shrimp. Both broths were delicious, lightly seasoned and obviously simmered for a long time. Prices were very reasonable and we look forward to trying other options in the future!

The menu is loaded with many Vietnamese delights, but I was only there for Pho, so I asked what broths they make and was surprised to learn they make beef, chicken, and vegetable broths for their Pho! Many places I visit only seem to make a beef, so I was happy to be able to enjoy chicken broth with my Phở gà. I told him to pack the order securely as I had a long drive home, but that clearly didn't happen. I didn't wait long for my order, maybe 10 minutes total and when I got it, it was in a tied plastic bag, which I carried out. I felt heat on the bottom and thought maybe one of the lids leaked, so when I looked at the lids, they were very poorly secured, which is an issue. They bought terrible, cheap, low-grade quart containers, which barely hold the lid. So I seatbelted the bag in my front seat and made it home fine. But when unpacking at home, I noticed the large round containers they put the main food in had lids that was sitting on top of the base, but didn't lock on at all - Again, cheap containers. They also had a nice assortment of accoutrement in that container, but everything was mixed together, both the cold and the hot - this is NOT appropriate. You should never pack cold and hot things in a single vessel when food is "to go." Even still, we separated everything and when it came time to eat, the noodles were so soft, they were melting. The broth was on the bland side, so I found myself adding Sriracha and salt for the first time ever to my Pho broth. The veggies were fresh though. The chicken looked and tasted good, but there were several odd, dark pieces in it that wasn't appetizing to come across. Overall - I really wanted to love this experience, especially since the smell inside that restaurant was great, but I feel it was slightly less than was it should have been. I'd say this was a 3.5 star visit, but will rate on the hi-end at 4 stars. Would I return? Not for Pho.

I wasn't feeling drinks, so I only got food food. We shared an order of Fresh Spring Rolls and each got a bowl of Pho. I typically get Bun Bo Hue at a Vietnamese restaurant, but they didn't have it. I settled with Pho Sate after looking through Yelp pictures, and it did not disappoint! I finished every drop of the broth as it was hitting so hard. The broth is both flavorful and spicy, which I love :) The service was pretty great. I wish they gave me more napkins because I was crying with my nose eating Pho Sate. I love the decorations and how the restaurant is set up. I'd love to be back here next time I visit Richmond.

This is what we got: Crispy Spring Roll: perfectly cooked classic spring roll. Pan fried Pork Dumplings: these were average. They were fried properly and felt they were pre-made and warmed in the microwave Chim Cut Quay: whenever i see quail on the menu i get it. The portion size was good but the quail was very tough to eat. Typically quail is tender and juicy but this was dry and tough. Bo Xao Thap Cam: This was your typical Beef with Vegetables. It was decent and the sauce was flavorful. Overall it's an average place. Definitely not worth going out of the way.

Nice place. Clean inside, fast service, and my order was ready quickly. I got it to go…read more I ordered P1 and A1A. It's food. Growing up, I was never into soup. Soup isn't a meal -- it's a thick beverage. Like a milkshake, but made of tomatoes and eaten while a grilled cheese sandwich watches in judgment. Pho is different. Pho isn't just a hunger suppressant -- it's an activity. Like dipping fries in ketchup or doing fondue. You get to cosplay as the chef while the restaurant acts as your sous chef. They gather the materials; you do the real work. Want lightly cooked tripe? Pull it out early. Want thoroughly cooked brisket? Let it soak. Want to eat an entire garden with your meat? Add all the bamboo, basil, and mint. Want a primitive diet? Take the garden home for the rabbit you'll slaughter tomorrow. You are the pilot of this meal. If your pho sucks, that's on you -- take notes and do better next time. If it's amazing? Congratulations. You are now a world-class Pho-er. This is exactly why I like pho to go. In the restaurant, the chefs behind the counter assume you're a n00b and finish it for you. At home, you control your destiny. PHO 95 Hai Ky Mi Gia hits all the right marks for me. I also ordered the crispy pork egg rolls. They're what you'd expect -- probably the same supplier as half the restaurants in America -- but the key difference is they didn't overcook them. That alone sets them apart. Just enough grease to coat my mouth in flavor, not so much that I could power a lamp for seven nights. Totally going back. P1 is the universal baseline, but next time I might live dangerously and try the S4. Maybe next week. Photos included... need to work on my food presentation skills.
