    Shrimp rolls

Clean dining area with prompt seating and service where I got the brisket pho (chin) and my own veggies for my pho vs. hubby's bub bo hue which is rice vermicelli in spicy beef noodle soup and pork shank. He had his own fresh vegetables for his meal. His meal definitely had just a tad too much fish sauce. I added just a small spoonful of their chili crisp oil located at each table and it was perfect. Hubby added more of the provided accompaniments for his taste. We did start out with shrimp rolls but in retrospect we didn't need them because the entrees were so generous. New pho restaurant in the area and for us. More upscale than some pho restaurants we have dined.

Was very pleased to find this newer place fairly near the VA - which makes for a nice option before or after appointments. Located in a newer shopping and dining plaza, the inside was surprisingly large and nicely decorated. Quite a decently sized menu with a good variety of. Today we were having lunch, so Pho sounded good to us. We started with an order (2) of shrimp and pork spring rolls - nothing unusual but nice and fresh. I had B6 - Bún bò Huế: Rice vermicelli in spicy beef noodle soup and pork shank. Lots of flavor and LARGE quantity - bring your appetite! Drawbacks: shank was very fatty, but ate around that. Also broth had a fishy note to it - as if too heavy on the Nước chấm. Wife had P10 - Phở Bò Chín: well-done brisket, served with tender rice noodles in a rich, spiced broth. Both dishes were accompanied by fresh garnishes including cilantro, onions, basil, bean sprouts, shredded cabbage and lime. All the tables presented Sriracha, hot chili oil and hoisin sauce. All-in-all, a very filling and tasty meal for a reasonable price.

The food was amazing. Service with a smile and great prices. I'll definitely be back again.

So happy to see more Vietnamese restaurants popping up on Midlothian. I've been to Rice Field twice since they opened. Both experiences were phenomenal. First, the ambiance is so good! I love the aesthetic, it is super cute in here. The service was also so fast. They are really polite and attentive. The pho is so GOOD. Delicious broth. Good quality meats. The portions are so generous and definitely worth the price. I also got their pork broken rice dish which I thought was incredible as well. The portions for that was so generous as well. Their shrimp rice paper roll and everything was incredibly flavorful. I'd definitely say this is one of the better Viet spots for Pho in midlothian. It is a bit more expensive than competitors in the area. However phenomenal experience.

I'm excited to see another Vietnamese restaurant open in Midlothian! Our group ordered a bunch of foods, but I was so hungry, I only took photos of mine! We had: - fresh pork and shrimp spring rolls - this was very good and fresh, it tasted like it was made to order and provided you with a good portion of shrimp and pork. They used bbq pork in this instead of the usual plain/boiled pork other restaurants use. Not a bad thing, just thought I'd mention it since it was unexpected! - bun thit nuong cha gio (vermicelli noodles with bbq pork and fried egg rolls) - this was beautifully presented and it was a big portion. The eggrolls and pork had very good flavor. The pork was a bit too dry, especially compared the the pork that was used in the spring rolls. - com tam bu suon cha (broken rice with grilled pork chop, shredded pork skin and pork cake) - my partner has this and he really liked it! It also included a couple pieces of fried shrimp paste wrapped in bean curd which was pretty tasty as well! - bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) and pho - I took a sip of both broths and they were both flavorful. The portions were big that half of them didn't finish their meal, they give you a lot of noodles! I can't wait to go back to try them. All in all, give this restaurant a try - the service is great, decor was beautiful and I took a peek at their drink menu and it looks delicious!

So sad to make this. I've been here plenty of times and all have been positive experience but this last time was the worst. I ordered shrimp pho online, went to go pick it up and recieved what look like half of my noodles missing. The food was really good though ~ but not what I expected for the price. :(

Literally one of the best viet food in Chesterfield. It is extremely spacious and it's decorated so well. The staff is so nice and kind. The food is incredible, each dish had so much flavorful and is authentic to Vietnamese cuisine. I went when they first soft launched and then kept coming back for more!

This place is a hidden gem!!! The food was SO SO tasty. Genuinely one of the best vermicelli bowls i've ever had. The thai tea was great too. Has a gorgeous inside with spacious seating, but the only downside is the service was a bit slow and menu is kinda confusing with repeats. I hope to be back

Really enjoyed the meal! The pork had great flavor. The egg rolls weren't my favorite. Very sweet wait staff.

    Chicken pho

This place is amazing!! I get the chicken pho and it is to die for! The broth is super flavorful and the chicken is like sliced breast and not shredded! I also tried the rocket shrimp and it was amazing! Crispy and not too much filling in the inside. The service is great! Very fast and not too hovering! The restaurant is very clean and up to date! I would definitely be coming back often!

Their menu is typical Viet/Pho. Opted for crispy veggie spring rolls to start - they were excellent! Perfect texture and great flavor! The dip that came with them was awesome! I'm not into peanutty sauces, nor hoison and this was a sort os soy sauce type thickened sauce with nice flavor. On to the entrée - I got chicken pho - Again, great! The accoutrement that came with it was "ok" not as fresh as I'd like, but still worked for my needs. But the broth was so very tasty! The chicken was decent as well. It was empty when we arrived so we were seated immediately. The music was very relaxing and felt like a spa. It took a while to get a server's attention, but when we placed our P5. Phở Tái Nam order (my best friend and I ordered the same thing), they came out pretty quickly. I am not sure what went wrong, but it felt like my noodles weren't fully cooked and the broth wasn't hot enough to cook it all. The flavor of the broth was also a little too perfumy for me and a bit off. More people came as we dined so it took a while to get the check, but we accounted enough time and weren't worried.

Soup isn't a meal -- it's a thick beverage. Like a milkshake, but made of tomatoes and eaten while a grilled cheese sandwich watches in judgment. Pho is different. Pho isn't just a hunger suppressant -- it's an activity. Like dipping fries in ketchup or doing fondue. You get to cosplay as the chef while the restaurant acts as your sous chef. They gather the materials; you do the real work. Want lightly cooked tripe? Pull it out early. Want thoroughly cooked brisket? Let it soak. Want to eat an entire garden with your meat? Add all the bamboo, basil, and mint. Want a primitive diet? Take the garden home for the rabbit you'll slaughter tomorrow. You are the pilot of this meal. If your pho sucks, that's on you -- take notes and do better next time. If it's amazing? Congratulations. You are now a world-class Pho-er. This is exactly why I like pho to go. In the restaurant, the chefs behind the counter assume you're a n00b and finish it for you. At home, you control your destiny. PHO 95 Hai Ky Mi Gia hits all the right marks for me. I also ordered the crispy pork egg rolls. They're what you'd expect -- probably the same supplier as half the restaurants in America -- but the key difference is they didn't overcook them. That alone sets them apart. Just enough grease to coat my mouth in flavor, not so much that I could power a lamp for seven nights. Totally going back. P1 is the universal baseline, but next time I might live dangerously and try the S4. Maybe next week. Photos included... need to work on my food presentation skills.
