Ben Wong is my favorite boba place. I've only tried about three boba spots in the Richmond area, and even though Ben Wong is the farthest from me, it's always where I go whenever I'm craving boba. I honestly like their boba more than any of the others I've tried because it's not overly sweet, which I really appreciate. I usually stick with the Oreo cream slush, that's my go to,but every now and then I'll try something different. I've had the brown sugar milk tea, the crème brûlée milk tea, and I believe the house bubble tea as well, and I've had no complaints so far. I also really like the atmosphere. It's clean, relaxed, and a nice place to sit. I usually go with my sister, and we'll just sit there and chat. It's definitely our favorite boba spot because their teas are so good. I haven't tried the pastries or cakes yet because I'm always undecided and I don't really like overly sweet things. That said, I see a lot of people raving about them, so I'm planning to try one next time, along with some other teas. read more

Got Mango Pomelo Sago, I would say their drinks are generally pretty good! The scallion bread was amazing too! I would only change the crystal petals in the Mango Pomelo Sage to the tiny balls that normally come in it. I feel like the texture is better with the traditional ones! Service is pretty fast! The Taro anything here is superb. They use fresh taro instead of powders like other places. Highly recommend. Also tried the Mango Pomelo and it had a great natural mango flavor but at 30% was still too sweet for me. It's a cute spot is easy to access from eastbound bound Midlo Tpke but requires a u-turn if heading westbound. I dragged my family here since I have been super into mochi donuts lately. The strip mall itself was a little hard to get in and out of since we missed the driveway the first time, then we had to cross through traffic hit the driveway, the second time. We did eventually get in and it wasn't that bad to get parking or anything since there were plenty more spaces in the back. We ordered six mochi donuts and some of the flavors were standard, but still really tasty: cookies and cream, strawberry, etc. Then we had two flavors that were completely new to us, which was the Japanese melon and what they call raspberry, but was topped with fruity pebbles so I would consider it more a fruity pebble flavor. Which to be fair, I love fruity pebbles, so I would've bought two of them had it been marketed as a fruity pebble mochi doughnut. They were all quite tasty, and if I were just in the mood for mochi donuts, I would probably come to this donut place over any of the others that I have seen so far, the parking situation is so much easier. Hubs was dragging, so he ordered a caramel macchiato and he claims it's one of the better coffees he has ever had. They did not have a ton of coffee choices, but since caramel macchiato is his go-to, he was really happy that it was so easy for him to get a delicious coffee that he loved. I could definitely see dragging my friends here after lunch one day so we can all decide if we want coffee or a smoothie or a doughnut. I really liked that there are choices for pretty much everyone. This place is super unique, the drink choices are really interesting and I have never seen or heard of a cheese foam smoothie before. I'm probably going to drag all of my friends here at some point when we are in the area just for the novelty of some of the items you can order. read more

Loved the boba here!! I tried their Jasmine Green Milk Tea with boba at 50% sugar, and it was DELICIOUS! It was the right amount of sweetness and savoriness of the tea! The roasted oolong was perfectly roasted and a bit less sweet than the Jasmine green milk tea. The mango pomelo was just the right amount of sweetness at 100% and Asian mom approved! :) The ambience was great as they decorated the store with spooky vibes! The cashier told me it took them 3 days and it was well worth it, bc I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It also helped that the group ahead of me were dressed as Mario characters for halloweekend! One of the best Boba places in southside! My husband and I stumbled upon this place while visiting our families in Midlothian. Service was exceptional, the variety is fantastic, and the best part..... The quality of their items is superb. I ordered the passionfruit tea, that comes with green tea jelly and I added boba. It was so amazing, not overly sweet, and the boba was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the coffee bubble tea, and he loved it! The mochi donuts are wonderful too; I'm not a donut person at all, but these truly are delicious, don't knock it til you try it. I also loved the atmosphere, it was a little bit quiet in there, but they had a really cute fun green wall where you can take photos. Really enjoyed our drinks today! Lots of great options, and service was quick. I used the app to order ahead and it was right on time. My kids wanted to pop in and pick out their donuts and we were not disappointed. We tasted almost all the donut flavors (there are 6 in my fam), and all were delicious. This place is pretty great, and it's like the only place in Midlothian I could find boba. The cups are so cute because they have a little heart on them and the aesthetic of the store is pleasing. The drinks are definitely on the sweeter side. The 30% sweetness is just right in my opinion. My only complaints are that the iced drinks are more room temperature than I'm used to and the boba balls are a bit soft. But overall, this nicely satisfies my boba craving and it tastes delicious. I got 30% sugar which was perfect, not too sweet, it was creamy and delicious. Only thing I would change is to have an actual brûlée sugar hard top, it did not but the flavor was good. I got mochi donuts that were made fresh with lots of variety of options. I got coffee, creme brûlée, mango and funnel cake. The creme brûlée donut had the brûlée top and was delicious!
