I wish I was able to try others, but these two were a 10 out of 10. I was able to get mine for free because I'm an elite yelp reviewer so if you are going to August 23 to the 30th able to get one free donut and one free Korean corn dog. I definitely will be back to try the other flavors, but they do change them almost every week. The inside is very nice. They have a Photo Booth with different outfits you can put on they also have different trinkets and charms you can buy.

Great spot! It's convenient and the food is yummy. The s'mores donut was my favorite. The kdogs are also a must have.

Passion Fruit Fruit Tea

Housed in a historic-looking building near the university, this place was glitzy and trendy on the inside. The selection of soft, rice-based donuts was substantial, and I was happy with what I got and shared. A tea with jellies delivered sustained refreshment on my evening drive. The place was a bit loud for me, but it was a worthwhile stop.

this is a super cute little shop. it is tucked into, i believe, an apartment building. it doesn't have a ton of space but it is well decorated and cute inside. you can either order at a kiosk or at the counter. there were only a couple of flavors left at the end of the day but they were all delicious! the taste and texture of all of the donuts was amazing. the parmesan mac and cheese bites are to die for. they were so so good. the texture was perfect and the parmesan garlic coating was super tasty.

Funnel Cake , Chocolate, Marshmallow, Dubai, Cookie Butter & Cream Brûlée Mochi Donuts!

The donuts were great & they tasted amazing! The coffee was good but needed more sweetness. The boba was perfect, my family loved it! The service was quick. The ambiance was clean and very cute! They also had a ramen bar station!

All I'm going to say for real is that I'm so happy this place is 45 mins away or i would be as big as a house! They aren't overly sweet! Light and airy. I didn't care for the Dubai chocolate which is surprising. But that crème brûlée one is smack yo momma good!! Okay... i am going back... it was so delicious!!

Hot Cheeto Korean Corn Dog

I ordered a Hot Cheeto corn dog. It was delicious. The service was fast. The set up was clean and precise, a little corporate, but lovely indeed. It hit the spot.

Brought my family here to try some mochi donuts and Korean corn dogs because I have been seeing them all over the place on social media. The parking situation was a little tricky at first since I had seen a parking lot on google maps, but once you get there, all of the parking is reserved for VCU personnel only. We ended up circling the block trying to find some street parking after we realized that was where we needed to park. Luckily, they are very easy to find because of the bright signs and very recognizable posters and stuff. I never would have found it if I was just trying to find it in the apartment building, but it was impossible to miss the cute neon Corndog signs. We were the only ones inside when we got there, around 2pm on a Friday. We were greeted immediately and we ordered a potato dog with cheese, a potato dog with beef, and a ramen dog with beef. We also ordered a strawberry fizz, and a three pack of mochi donuts. I really liked how they mark each of the sticks so you are certain what you are eating. Plain sticks are beef, black mark means cheese, and (I think) green means chicken. I just love when restaurants put that kind of care into making sure you don't accidentally eat something you can't or don't eat. The cheese and potato dog was AWESOME, it had a cheese pull like nothing I've ever seen before. It was insane. The potatoes are such a perfect blend of crispy outside and soft inside. It was perfect. It stood up really well to the cheese. My son loved the beef and crispy ramen. And he normally doesn't like ramen, but he went to town on the crispy creation. He normally has sensory issues and doesn't like to try a lot of new foods, but he loved this. Our least favorite of the three was the potato and beef dog, because the potato just doesn't really stand up as well against the beef. The beef is crazy juicy and flavorful, so the potato sort of gets lost, other than the crunch. Maybe if it had a little seasoning on it? I'd absolutely buy it again, but maybe next time I will sprinkle it with my favorite hot sauce or seasoning blend. We also thought the box these came in were so clever! It has a cutout for the stick to poke through, but then you can hold the box with one hand and pull the stick with the other, so if you want to take the stick off to eat it easier, or closer to the end, it just slides right off into your box. It makes so much sense! The strawberry fizz was so refreshing and delicious, we all loved the strawberry flavor, and the little cans they make it in are so cute. The donuts were really cool. I prefer the texture of these to most regular donuts because they are light, but also a little chewy at the same time. Another silly little preference of mine, but I also think mochi donuts are perfect for sharing because the little balls break off so easily. We all had a different favorite, but my daughter liked how tasty the Oreo Cookie one was, and very different from my son's favorite one - marshmallow. It was so gooey! I LOVED the crispy/chewy texture of the crème brûlée! I am a sucker for caramelized sugar. It was so good. I didn't check how long it took the food to actually get to us, but we put 30 minutes in the parking meter, walked to the restaurant, ordered, received and ate our food, and walked back to the car and still had 3 minutes to spare. I am glad we don't live closer (and I hate driving downtown), because I would come back constantly.

Mochi : Really good, first time but not the last. RVA see you soon ....... ....... .... .. VCU Hot Cheeto cheese was the best Toasted marshmallow was the best

These are the best donuts you will ever try. They are sweet and slightly chewy and they offer soo many flavors The boba comes sealed in a can like cup and is so good the horchata boba was to die for and the matcha was not to sweet But the star of the show are the hot Cheeto cheese dogs. The flavor was epic the cheese pull was tremendous the crunch was perfect they were my favorite for sure The staff are happy and helpful and the decor is super cute Only draw back is parking because this is right in the middle of college everything but if you are out walking or feel like door dashing this is a must try experience

I've wanted to try this place, but I'm never driving the right direction to down franklin to make it an easy stop. Well, it finally happened and I was quite pleased. When you walk in, you can choose to order with a person if you like, but they also have 2 self-serve kiosks which is what I opted for. I knew it'd take me some time to decide, so I didn't want the cashier to feel like they had to just wait on me. I got a 3 pack with oreo, dulce de leche, and crème brûlée. Crème brûlée is one of my favorite desserts so I started with that one and it absolutely blew me out the water. It was soooo good, I came back the next day and got 3 more of just that flavor. This was my first time trying mochi donuts. They're soft, but more pillowy and chewy than your standard donut. The easiest way I can describe them is almost like a really soft funnel cake. I like the little sections bc it makes them easy to split and share. I also got a brown sugar milk tea. The drink itself was good, your typical bsmt, but the boba were not. They were way tinier than your average, which I didn't mind at all. However they were surprisingly HARD. Would not get again. The can they give it to you in is SO cute, I've tried lots of boba places and never had such unique packaging. This place is a 10/10 in terms of branding and packaging. -- Third visit, I got 6 pack with three of my favorite - creme brûlée. I also tried three new flavors - strawberry, oreo matcha and white chocolate pistachio. They we're all good, but crème brûlée is still my favorite. Decided to give their drinks another go and got the Horchata latte - meh, not for me. But then I got the Red Velvet latte and OH MY GOD. I'll literally CRY if they ever get rid of this drink. As with most hand crafted drinks, sadly, the taste varies depending on who is working. Have had not so great ones (not enough flavor) but still a good drink overall. Have also tried the potato and sweet potato corn dogs and really enjoyed them. To me, they're way better than normal corn dogs.

Churro Mochi
Menghai T.

Came here for a quick drink and mochi donut snack. I got the churro donut ($3) and the brown sugar latte ($6). The mochi donut was very delicious, it had the perfect chewiness from the mochi. Churro flavor was good, but not my personal favorite. What I specifically love about these donut is that they aren't overly loaded with sugar. The coffee was also very good, sweet with coffee flavor. A great place to get boba, coffee, and amazing Mochi Donuts! Food(50%): 8.8 Staff/service(25%): 8.0 Value(25%): 7.0 Overall: 8.2/10

These mochi donuts are great. I purchased a dozen to give each one a try. You really can't go wrong because they are all great. The only downside to the churro donut is the cinnamon that falls off, but it is still very good. The staff were very nice and the location has plenty of seating for people to hang out and talk. The location only has street parking, which is the only thing that would make it hard to get to, but if you are willing to walk a bit, it is accessible.

Country Style Donuts was close to our hotel, so we decided to give it a try. The shop itself is a little tucked away and has limited parking out front and the building definitely feels dated, but we were still excited to try something new. We picked out a dozen donuts planning to head back to the hotel relax with some milk and enjoy a couples movie night. Unfortunately, the excitement ended petty quickly. Even though we were told the donuts were baked fresh every morning, they tasted stale and completely lacked flavor. We each took a bite of every donut in the box, hoping maybe we'd just chosen the wrong ones to start with, but all of them had the same issue. They were dry, flat-tasking, and honestly inedible. We were planning to return the next day to take some home to family but after our first few bites that went out the window. On top of that the store itself could use some updating, and the bathroom espeically left a lot to be desired. Overall, we really wanted to love this place but the donuts just didn't deliver. Next time we are in the area, we'll have to look for a different spot.
