    Matcha-Berri Latte
    Sarah S.

I've been to a handful of Domoishi locations and this one in particular (which was my first time here), I was not too impressed. It was not busy at all on the early weekday evening. We were not greeted upon walking in. There were two staff members working, although one was next to a computer she did not offer to take my order which I went ahead and proceeded to browse on the self-order kiosk. I'm not sure if that's the standard for this location and immediately expected of customers, but I've usually had my order taken by someone at other locations. I did eventually ask if she could take my order as she was standing there. I thought about getting food, but only ended up ordering a Matcha Berry Latte with no boba and light ice. Presentation was nice and it was a delicious and refreshing drink. Not overly sweet. The cleanliness can use a bit of work. Trash can was overfilled. When a group had left after eating, no one came to wipe down the table during my time there although it was not busy. Although I have 3 stars, this doesn't deter me away from this location as I like to think that I came on an off day and am willing to try again.

Delicious Ramen, wings, and boba. They put extra fish cake, and hard boiled eggs in the ramen also. They don't skimp on anything! I got the pork miso ramen. Darnell got the pork shoyu ramen. I got the amber coffee boba and Darnell got the berry matcha and the wings. Sososososososososooooo good. We will return.

    Spicy Wings

Had a craving for some wings - ordered the soy garlic and spicy for carry out. The wings were a good size and the flavors were great - the service was good as well - everything was ready in a timely manner and the restaurant was clean and inviting.

    Gyudon Beef Rice Bowl

I had the Gyudon beef rice bowl. This is the worst rice bowl I've ever had. The beef is so low quality you're basically eating stringy fat. The bowl is basically 7/8s rice and 1/8 toppings so even if the flavor was good it still wouldn't be worth the price at $17

The poke bowl was really good. You can choose a variety of toppings, proteins,etc... Was a tad pricey but overall good for what you pay for. Will definitely come again.

Nice place to go to for bubble tea vs. driving to Richmond or Northern Virginia. All drinks come in one size so starting price is at least $5.50. They have a variety of toppings like fruit poppers, tapioca, jellies, etc. I like how they make their tapioca pearls (boba); it's not dense like it has been sitting out for a long time. They're pretty good with having fresh tapioca pearls. It's also not too sweet, but I still reduce my sweetness in my drinks. If you come, order ahead of time if you can because they can get busy, especially during dinner time with only two people(?) working. I placed my order at 7:41 PM on a Tuesday at the kiosk inside the shop; the food was ready by 7:55 PM. I haven't came any earlier or on a weekend so unsure how long the wait is usually.

    Strawberry peach & mocha tea!

Such a fun place to pop into for a quick tea. The ramen bowls look amazing, can't wait to try them.

I am not a fan. Food was mediocre. Service was good and staff is knowledgeable but the food is seriously not good.

A fairly decent boba shop. There isn't a wide selection of boba tea spots outside Carytown, so this did the trick!

If the Ramen is any indicator, the food is just not good. Seems like the Ramen recipe was derived with heavy input from a cost accountant.

Really good wings and poke bowls but on the expensive side. Will try the ramen soon. To go only but packaging is amazing and cute.

Solid energy, good drinks, and a menu that makes it hard to choose just one thing. But if I had to pick one must-order item -- and trust me, that's not easy -- it's the Malaysian curry ramen. I have heard good things from colleagues, some of them state that this is their favorite ramen in Richmond, though I have to say, I'm not convinced this place deserves their high praise. When we arrived, we ordered a drink at the bar, but were quickly seated thereafter, and our drinks that we ordered at the bar simply never arrived. When we spoke to the server about this, she seemed confused, and appeared to be somewhat new, and ultimately did not honor that happy hour prices of our drinks that ended up showing up 30 minutes later. Furthermore, one drink that I ordered was regular price, but the price listed on the menu was incorrect, and again the server would not the lower price that was printed on the menu. I was not informed of this error until the receipt was printed. The ramen itself was fine. I've had better, I've had worse. I felt like the broth itself was overall way too salty, and lacked the depth the flavor that I was seeking in a ramen broth. The noodles were well cooked and al dente, and the toppings were a nice addition. All in all, my experience here was rather disappointing, and I really hope that there's better ramen in Richmond.

I've been seeing Ginza Soot but haven't tried it. My husband wanted ramen (we usually go to Takara) and we saw Ginza had ramen on the menu so we decided to try it. We ordered takeout: -Korean wings half regular and 1/2 spicy. They were just okay. Better Korean wings are available around town so I'd skip these next time. - Beef gyoza- reminded me of the frozen ones I buy from Lotte or Trader Joe's. They were okay but I didn't get the 'made in house' vibe from these. I've had better. Wouldn't order them again. - Pork tonkatsu ramen spicy. Granted it was takeout, but the package seems like it was assembled and stored in the fridge until someone ordered. The broth had to be heated up. It wasn't great. Wouldn't order it again. - general Tao's chicken spicy. This was way too sweet and not a hint of spiciness. The broccoli was overcooked. This is on par will mall Chinese food. Actually I've had better general Tso's at the mall kiosk. I bet the drinks and teas are good. For food, this one is not for me. This goes in the once and done column for me.

This is an acquired taste, but not bad at all.It has a strong fishy smell. Also, we ordered a poke bowl with 2 protein choices, another poke bowl with 3 protein choices. You can pick from a variety of ingredients and everything looked fresh. We also had the General Tso chicken with broccoli and white rice. Let me tell you, it was VERY HOT. Not spicy hot, like blow on your food as you eat hot, so be careful. It was very flavorful though and I took some leftovers and reheated in the air fryer just fine. My husband tried a watermelon drink with a clear ball at the top that made for an interesting conversation. No, he didn't swallow it. Definitely try this place. It had many other things on the menu.
