This was our first time here. We came during an in-between meal time and were greeted at the door. We confirmed we were dining in and were shown to a table. But after being seated, no one came back. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The two employees were sitting just a few tables away, including the person who seated us. After waiting for a while, we assumed ordering must happen through the kiosks by the tables. When we got up to use one, we were told they could take our order instead. It made for a strange first impression. There was an odd smell throughout the restaurant and the restroom smelled especially unpleasant. The food came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, we found it underwhelming. I ordered the chicken wonton ramen. It was bland, and the wontons reminded me more of something from a frozen meal than something made in-house. My fiancé ordered the tonkotsu ramen and had similar thoughts. Lunch for two ended up costing over $40 after tax and tip, and that was with just water to drink. For the price, we expected more. Better Korean wings are available around town so I'd skip these next time. - Beef gyoza- reminded me of the frozen ones I buy from Lotte or Trader Joe's. I found this place by chance and decided to try it. When you enter, you can order at the counter or at one of their kiosks which conveniently takes your card too. Then, you sit down and wait for them to take the food to your table. The place was very clean and the cashier was very nice. We decided to order an appetizer called Takoyaki Ball. It comes with 6. This is an acquired taste, but not bad at all.It has a strong fishy smell. Also, we ordered a poke bowl with 2 protein choices, another poke bowl with 3 protein choices. You can pick from a variety of ingredients and everything looked fresh. We also had the General Tso chicken with broccoli and white rice. Let me tell you, it was VERY HOT. Not spicy hot, like blow on your food as you eat hot, so be careful. It was very flavorful though and I took some leftovers and reheated in the air fryer just fine. Amazing little takeout spot! The best poke I've had in short pump, just look at the freshness and they are not stingy on the fish! The tea has a very strong tea flavor you can taste that is from real tea leaves not from powder like the other store use. The cashier lady was super nice. It was our first time and she recommended us to use the kiosk because they offer more items than what's shown on the tv. I am so glad and appreciated her because other store wouldn't bother to mention about it and made us feel so confused. My two picky eaters love the wings they said they were crispy and juicy. The chashu was tender and fatty, and the rice was cooked perfectly. Everything included in the rice bowl just made up the perfect meal. We had to wait a while for our food (seemed like only 1 or 2 people were working). And the inside has cute decor, but it looks a little empty and cold because of how big the space is. Customer service was top tier: very pleasant and bought our to go order to the table we sat at while waiting. Food: wings were a good size and tasty, we ordered half and half (the spicy soy garlic is spicy), should have asked to fry them crisp but still good 3.9/5. Fried pork dumplings were a bit tough but ok, the sauce bought the flavor 3.2/5. The chicken lomein was probably our least favorite, plenty of chicken and veggies but the noodles for me were too soft and flavor was just ok. I did add the sauce from the dumplings to add more flavor, a great portion size, 2.5/5. Mimi ordered the Grape Tea and it was good (didn't give the traditional artificial grape flavor) very refreshing 4.5/5. Overall rating is 3.5/5 (Yelp let us add half stars, lol). Went here on a dreary Monday and ate in. It was pretty empty aside from one other person and they left right as my food arrived. They a build-your-own set up for the poke bowls, as well as the ramen and a decent list of appetizers. I got the spicy soy wings, Tonkatsu base ramen w/ pork chashu and a signature brown sugar boba with the milk cap. The wings blew me away, the absolute start of the show. So crispy and the flavor was on point. I'd get them again and again. I also loved my drink. The boba was sooo soft and bouncy. It was very very sweet though, so beware if that's not your thing. The ramen was just okay to me. The broth was thick and rich, but wasn't my favorite Tonkatsu I've tried.The pork tasted good, but was thinner than I imagined, as were the noodles. They serve you in plastic bowls with plastic utensils, which I've never encountered at a ramen spot, unless I ordered to go. The egg was AMAZING. I'd order an extra one next time. The thing I didn't like about this restaurant is that it stinks. I noticed it a little bit when I walked in and ignored it thinking it may have just been all the food smells mixing. This is such a cute spot tucked away in Short Pump! The team is friendly and informative and the food is solid. I wasn't sure what to get, but I knew I wanted ramen so I asked the person behind the desk what her favorite was. I got the tonkotsu (pork broth) based on her recommendation with tofu as the protein. Cute restaurant for ramen, poke and boba teas. I was craving for ramen while I shopped at Short Pump Center. Pulled out Yelp app and saw Ginza Spot. Looks like a new place and pretty good reviews. My friend and I ordered ramen. He had tonkatsu base with beef and onion. I had a miso base with chicken. They both tasted good. The soft-boiled egg was yummy. Vegetables are fresh. Soup was hearty. No wonder everyone praised about it. We also ordered a 2-item poké bowl with everything on it and wasabi sauce. It wasn't pungent like wasabi at sushi restaurants. It was delightful and perfect for salmon poké. Fish was fresh. Everything was nice. Then, the orange interior drew our attention. So cute. They have a ton of seating, making this is a good spot for large parties. They are generous with the fish in the poke bowls and they don't add too much rice. The soy garlic Korean fried chicken had good flavor and I appreciated the extra sauce at the bottom of the container. It also came with a few fried rice cakes, which was a nice surprise. I love poke places and this was a good experience. It is new and a little hidden in the Publix shopping center on Pump Rd. You can order at a kiosk. We opted for a poke bowl, ramen and smoothie. My poke bowl was tasty. The cucumbers are bigger chunks than some other places and I liked them. I ordered it with the house poke sauce. It needed a little pop, so I went back for a side of honey wasabi. I was worried it might be too sweet with honey, but I couldn't taste that at all and I really liked the creamy wasabi sauce. Just the right amount of spicy. My daughter loved her ramen bowl with miso base, chicken, boiled egg, sprouts, green onions, corn and tofu. She always liked the smoothie a lot! We weren't expecting too much, because it seems that Poke Bowl places are sort of becoming a dime a dozen. But this place impressed us. I like that this place uses self order tablets. That translates perfectly for Poke Bowls since those dishes require so much customization per customer. It also ensures that lines don't last forever. We ordered 2 Poke Bowls, Korean Chicken Wings, Pork Chashu, and bubble tea. Everything we ordered was amazing. The Poke Bowl is different from many other places because it's seasoned incredibly well. It's also chock full of protein and very light on rice (that's a good thing in my book). I got almost full on the raw fish alone! The pork Chashu was also very juicy, tender, and had amazing sauce drizzled on it. The food is a little expensive, but it was extremely delicious and the portions are good. So I can forgive that for the most part. They are a little new so the interior still looks a little rough around the edges. But the food is the most important part and it delivered. I ordered through door dash and ended up not getting my wings but when I called the store they were so sweet and ready to make it right. I did ended up getting my wings and they threw in some extras for the inconvenience. The wings were good but don't think bonchon. I would say these were like regular chicken wings with a light sauce on them. The spicy is quite mild (my husband actually added hot sauce to his) so I recommend it over the soy garlic. Wendy's spicy chicken nuggs are spicier just for some comparison. They may have been crispier had I eaten them fresh but they didn't have the signature crisp I have come to know and love from Korean fried chicken. I also got the mango snow cap drink and it was delightful! The milk foam was mixed all throughout the drink which contrasted nicely with the mango. First glance, the restaurant itself is pretty and the inside is spacious with minimal seating, although adequate for the current amount of patrons. The menu has a lot to offer in terms of food but less in their tea options - which is okay because they aren't a specific tea shop. I ordered a passion fruit tea with peach popping bubbles and it was $8, which isn't too bad but a little more than I'm used to paying. I sat down to wait and shortly after my drink was brought to me by some very friendly staff. However, the drink leaves a lot to be desired. It's extremely sour for some reason, which is not something I've encountered with a passion fruit tea before. There were also some very unpleasant seeds in the bottom of the drink that almost make it undrinkable. Our cashier was fast to serve us and brought our order to our table. The only thing I wish was offered would be crockery for the ramen during our dine-in experience. (although this place isn't really a restaurant) Everything is served in plastic to-go bowls and containers which feels a little wasteful. I can usually split one bowl into two meals (for reference, my husband usually finishes his). The fish is good quality (not excellent), and hard to beat the amount you get for the price!
