Food is great but the prices have SKYROCKETED recently. A meal that was $18 through a delivery service last year or the year before is now $30 to pick up in person. Food for a family of 3, 3 entrees and 2 appetizers, is $77 and that doesn't even include the most expensive items on the menu. Pho Saigon is a chain and I looked at other pho Saigon prices in other (larger) nearby cities. This restaurant charges 25%+ more than other cities charge for the same food items. Their hours are also unreliable. They just kind of close whenever for whatever and you won't know until you show up and try to order. Idk what's happened to this restaurant in the past few years but this is unbelievable. Damn this place was beyond amazing! I had it on a list of places to try for a while and finally went with the wife. The food was so good, and beyond that, extremely fresh. No matter how much you eat, you won't feel heavy at all. The pho is so flavorful and aromatic, and the brisket and beef bowl is the perfect thing to eat. I love the pork sandwich as well. When I come to this restaurant, the only item I order is their bun bo hue. I haven't had many, but this is so good. I crave this soup on the regular. Today we ordered the Pho special, the pho round steak and brisket, both with plenty of fixings, bbq pork banh mi, bbq pork, fried egg and rice. Everything tasted amazing. As usual their food and customer service are both on point. All the employees communicate with each other and take good care of their customers by making sure they acknowledge them at arrival all the way thru closing out tab. Clean establishment and smells great. Pho Saigon is located next to Del Sol Bar and Autozone. I haven't found a pho place that I really loved until now and this location has to be at the top. Their staff is friendly and I saw management walking around making sure everyone was okay. We came here for lunch a couple weeks ago and they take your temperature as you enter. Tables are appropriately distanced. We ordered their Vietnamese spring rolls, pho, their special bahn mi and Saigon fried rice. Everything tasted great. Portion size is generous so we had leftovers for dinner. There are a couple pho places around here but this is a must if you're craving for some comfort food. read more

I ordered without the tripe. Broth taste is so rich and clean. Plenty of veggies on the side for the soup. Condiments galore, and ask for hot oil if u like it spicy. They of course have some kinks to work out being very newly opened but that's expected. I had the Chicken Pad Thai, which actually was the best I've had so far in San Antonio since we moved here 2 years ago. The chicken was moist and not overcooked. My husband had the Pho Tai Chin which was delicious, the broth was flavorful and a great base for the tender meat. The portions are also very generous. The menu itself has a good selection, including banh mi sandwiches, rice, rice noodles, and pho. The prices are a little bit higher, most likely due to its location. I had their special pho, which is commonly known as dac biet. The food was good. Solid broth with a good amount of meat. The reason why my rating is low is solely based on the service. My waiter seemed disinterested. I never had my water refilled, and I felt like I was a nuisance. I think the service will get better as the staff gets more comfortable. Overall, not a bad experience, but for now, I'll head down the street for my pho fix. read more
