This is one of my favorite places! I even order to go quite often to my work. My favorite is the Tom Kha soup, but I also love their summer rolls and pumpkin curry! Just waiting for it to get colder here to enjoy the hot food that much more. The Thai tea is also excellent, I've never had a bad experience with service or flavor. I will just say this is a small little restaurant, it would not be suited for large parties needing multiple tables unless you communicated that before hand. But it's the perfect spot for 2-4 people to dine in, and also take out! read more

The food was delicious!!!! A+++. We were traveling from Maryland and wish that this place was there. Definitely recommend. Small place but full of great service and yummy food. read more

This is it. This is the authentic Thai flavor you are looking for in San Antonio. Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior of this place. The parking lot is weird with about a dozen spaces, but the food makes up for it. Inside, there are plenty of seats for dining in. The menu is like a very nice photo album taking you on a culinary trip through Thailand. The off menu specials might be displayed on your table or the board near yhe counter. The curries were nice and thr chicken cooked perfectly. The beef in the yum nua was so tasty with the nutrients of toasted rice. I can't wait to return for the Khao Soi! read more

Thai Curry Restaurant - Pad Thai (Noodle)Duck Noodles soup - Thai Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

Great service...bland food. Thom Ka spice level #3 tasted like salty water. They did add a decent amount of shrimp. Not worth $17.00. The Eggplant Plant delight the same. "Uneventful," according to my husband. AND no spice once again. Live close by and have only been very disappointed. CHEF, add some flavor and heat. read more

What a cute restaurant with a nice ambiance! It is small (8 tables) but don't let that fool you! The food was absolutely spectacular and portion sizes were great too! We went for a late lunch/early dinner. When we pulled up we thought they were closed but their open sign was on. We walked in and were taken away how precious the inside was! They have a a great menu with amazing Thai dishes. My husband and I had spring rolls, drunken noodles and Panang Curry! We had fried rice with curry. Everything was delicious! They have excellent customer service too! I am sure they were not busy due the nasty rainy weather. If you are looking for excellent authentic Thai Food, you need to try Thai Curry!!! Definitely recommend Thai Curry! You will not be disappointed. read more

Consistently the best Thai in San Antonio!! Great service ! Friendly people, always a warm welcome and smiling faces. This is my favorite restaurant in the city. The lunch specials are phenomenal. Pad Woon Sen is just perfect! Support small businesses; especially this one. This place should be packed every day. read more

This is hands down the best Thai food I've ever had. The pineapple fried rice was perfection. It was perfectly balanced, not greasy, and packed with flavor. The drunken noodles were delicious with just the right amount of heat, and the spring rolls were super fresh and crispy. The Massaman curry.... Agh! It was so rich, creamy, and comforting. The flavors were deep and warm without being too heavy. I could eat that every day. The staff here are the absolute sweetest. So welcoming and genuinely attentive. read more

Love it. Always fresh. We've been coming here for years. It's quaint and sometimes have to get it to go. Always worth it.

A lover of Thai food (and Houston has great Thai options), this restaurant was a complete and total surpise, and very pleasant one, at that. Every dish was obviously made from scratch the traditional way, with the pastes pounded in a mortar. Everything was a flavor bomb - brilliant, fresh, and so delicious I could hardly stop eating! The Pad Thai was incredible, the Green Curry some of the best I have had. The owner was obviously very proud of her dishes. Seating is not plentiful, nor is the parking in front. Ambience is negligible - you are there for the food. But what food!! Take out from this Thai place would be just as good as eating in. Cannot wait to return to my home city to have it again. read more

Of course we had to go back! Went today for their lunch special which is until 3 pm cst. Today was busier than our first visit. The service was great and the server recognized me which is awesome. They're very kind and helpful. The ambiance is homey and time from order to getting your food is no longer than 10 mins which is crazy with the amount of people there today. We ordered something different this go around - I got the pork pad Thai no spice and hubby & his coworker got the massaman curry (beef level 2 , chicken level 3 spice - respectively). I also got the table house crispy rolls which we all loved! All dishes are very good!! Added to one of my go to spots for Thai foods! read more

it was my first time trying thai food & this place did not disappoint! the food here was so so so yummy! everything came out hot & extremely flavorful! the staff is so sweet & very welcoming! i gave it a 4/5 for the simple fact that the place itself is a bit small inside, so it would be tricky accommodating a big group, other than that, no complaints! will be back! Service is fantastic. The nicest people work here. No liquor license so that's a money saver by bringing your own. Recipes are all fresh and flavorful. Their roasted duck is among the best I've ever eaten. They do a ton of take out but it doesn't seem to impact their dine in service at all. One of the best Thai places in town. Small and clean dining room. read more

A small interior with large food! The new menu is a well executed book - with color photos, helpful in making a selection. My friend ordered the Pad Wood Sen with prawns - Clear glass noodles sautéed with broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, onion, bean sprouts and egg in a Thai brown sauce. He is a taco or hamburger fellow - so this was a real experiment for him - treading on unfamiliar territory. He raved about his meal. Even the following week when we went to Stone Werks he mentioned how much he liked his meal at Thai Curry. The food is really that good. My order was Green Curry with pork (Jasmine rice) - another great selection. Homemade green curry paste with coconut milk, bell pepper, zucchini, pea-carrot green bean, eggplant and fresh thai basil. The menu has many items - and should address whatever you like in Thai food. Friendly and prompt service. I watched as another table had a small cooler with wine and beer. They were brought wines glasses. I do recommend Thai Curry to you. I believe the prices are reasonable and the amount of the serving is more than sufficient - I took some of mine home and had another meal. read more

Amazing. I cannot say enough about how good the food was at this tiny restaurant. Literally four or so parking spaces (ended up down the street) and 8-9 tables. We started with the cheese rolls.. crispy with an awesome, creamy dipping sauce. The lunches began with a soup ... deep flavors in a thick broth, tofu, and lots of veggies. I had the Massasan Curry bowl .. coconut milk, cashews, russet and sweet potatoes served with rice of choice. I went for brown rice. The curry sauce was rich, flavorful, and aromatic. It has thin slices of chicken. You can dial the spice to your tolerance level. The dish was so large I have dinner tonight. My friend had the Pad Thai ... best she has eaten in San Antonio was the sentiment. Service was friendly and helpful. The food came out fast. Found a new fave Thai location. read more

Food is phenomenal. Best Thai in San Antonio that I have tried. Service was outstanding. Highly Recommend!

Don't even bother going to any fast food or other Asian restaurant. The quality of freshness, the amount of food and the AFFORDABILITY for lunch with the quickest pickup/service you can find around broadway. I had some time to kill while my vehicle was being worked on, and I was feeling hungry. Thai Curry happened to be in walking distance, so I hoofed it on over. Since they had just opened, there were no patrons. The woman who greeted me advised to sit wherever. It is indeed a small place! I looked over the menu which had a nice variety. I decided to go for the Pad Thai lunch special, which was priced at $10. The waitress brought out the soup of the day to begin. It was a vegetable soup with a nice flavor to it. Soon after, my main course arrived. It included a vegetable roll along with it. I found the meal to be delicious! I went with a heat level of 4 (out of 5), and it was just right. Although I may give 5 a shot next time I visit. I really enjoyed my experience here and would visit regularly if I lived in the area. read more

I had first heard of @thaicurrysa from my friend Donna. Tonight, we thought to check it out and so glad we did. There are only a total of 6 tables and we were early enough to get seated quickly. Dad had his Lemonade and my husband and I both had the Thai Iced Tea. Super sweet! I might try a smoothie next time. We started with the Egg Rolls with the tamarind sauce. It was temperature hot! Had the large bowl of Rice Soup. We shared the Thai Fried Rice with roast duck, Pad Thai with shrimp and Grilled Fish. Such generous portions and reasonable prices. Definitely another meal with all the leftovers. We had eaten way too much that we didn't get to try the Coconut Ice Cream. Everything was delish! They don't add spice unless you ask for it. Very flavorful even without the spiciness. If you're in the 410/Broadway area, stop by and check them out! Say hi to Melanie and Joe, the awesome servers there. read more

I would be remiss if I didn't offer a review of Thai Curry. This is a new restaurant on Broadway close to 410. What I didn't know is the owners used to own Lemongrass Thai on Thousand Oaks. They are the nicest couple. They sold that restaurant and decided to retire. But they grew restless and decided what they wanted to do was get back into the restaurant business, but in a smaller location. We were so happy to find out they have opened this location. And we want to give a shout out to Joe, the main waiter and entertainer of the house. He was the reason we went to Lemongrass so often. He's such a funny guy, but can handle the whole front of the house at the same time. The food is great. They have spring rolls that are so crunchy and delicious. All of their curries are great, but my favorite is the red curry. On our recent visit we had a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering their location. One of the best things we like is you can bring your own beer or wine. They have wine glasses. If you go, please tell Joe that Dave and Donna sent you. read more

The staff is nice, but the food is average and the prices match the Alamo heights area. The smoothies were way too sweet and the boba did not seem like it was fresh since the outer part disintegrated in my mouth and the middle was somewhat chewy. This place is fantastic! It's pretty small on the inside which gives it a local, intimate feel. I ate in the restaurant on a Thursday night and there was still plenty of seating and no wait. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The dishes are plated beautifully and the service was really fast. The prices are good as well. I ordered the egg rolls and Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was delicious! Some of the best Pad Thai I've had. With each dish you can choose your own level of spice on a scale of 1-5. I don't like things very spicy so I just did a level 1 spice. It wasn't spicy at all and just to my liking. They will bring you extra spice on the side if you want to add more. For each plate you can choose the meat. I did chicken, but they mentioned their duck was one of their most popular options for many of their dishes. This will be a new go to neighborhood spot for me! I'm can't wait to go back! read more
