Family owned and put a lot of care into the food. It was a nice surprise on trip to SeaWorld. Highly recommended!

We've been passing by this place for a while and finally found the time to check it out. It's was delicious, a little hole in the wall that everyone should try! A lot of Thai places around here are too sweet and try to put a Mexican flare on their food in order to attract the general public. This place tastes more authentic, and that's what I like about it. This place has a good balance of spice and sweet. Their dumplings were nice and crispy. I had the Pad See Ew and my husband had the Pad Thai. Good portions, good service, and good flavors. We'll be back for sure!

Thai Wok has the best Pad Thai. Their bubble tea is a great complement to the meal. The easy listening music played throughout the cozy dining room is a vibe. I enjoy coming here with my daughter. She likes to try something new everytime. The wait is never too long and the server is attentive every time we have dined in.

Absolutely absurd! You walk in and it's not much in reality but their food speaks for itself. Very calm place and never once felt overwhelmed by staff. Food was perfectly cooked. I had the orange chicken and the sesame chicken. Best part was it was lightly breaded and light sauce! Super healthy options! Love the quaintness of the restaurant! I will 100 percent be back and prob get the same items bc there were that good!

Gentle Readers: If Asian food is your jam and if you could eat some form of Asian food on the daily (like me), then, I introduce to you the absolutely delicious food at Thai Wok. This small Thai restaurant located on the Northside of San Antonio, off Culebra Rd. is an affordable and great place to dine. I ordered the chicken egg rolls and a noodle dish called Pad Won Sen (aka: Pad Wunsen). Both dishes were fresh and wonderful! The chicken egg rolls were made with spring roll wrappers instead of an egg roll wrapper. You cannot order just one measly little eggroll. you get 5 or 6 eggrolls to an order and this is served with a sweet and tangy fish sauce that was perfect. I strongly recommend you order the eggrolls. Item #2, my main entree was Pad Won Sen. A wonderful mesh up of glass noodles, Napa cabbage, carrots, onions and egg in a sauce. I ordered my noodles with medium spice, but if you want to feel the heat definitely order your food either hot or Thai hot. The heat score of my dish was less than I anticipated so I had to add in a lot of hot chili oil to my dish. The portions were ample, the protein and veggies in the noodle dish were plentiful and the prices were reasonable. Two healthy eaters could have easily shared that meal with both people being amply fed. I really like the restaurant's willingness to customize your order with the protein of your choice, including chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, scallops, and tofu. You can even elect to add on extra meat, veggies, an egg, and more for a small up-charge. In addition to a good selection of food items, the restaurant also offers Boba Tea and a couple of sticky rice desserts. Overall, I would rate this restaurant as a 4.25 dining experience. The food was delicious, but the ambience is nothing special, just a small strip mall restaurant to go get your grub on or take your food home to eat. Y'all know how we do it-- you better go get you some!!!

Always looking for good Thai food and we were pleasantly surprised! The drunken noodles and pa-neng curry were delicious. We also had fried spring rolls as an appetizer - very fresh and crispy! We'll definitely be back!! It's a small restaurant - but nice and very clean. Friendly waitress.

I don't think it's truly authentic Chinese food, but an in between little diner with great and attentive service, reasonable prices and a lot on their menu. What we ordered came out super quickly and all the dishes were very good. We got egg drop soup (delicious), one stir fried seafood dish (shrimp and scallop- so good!), shrimp fried rice (great), the General Tso's beef (my husband loved this!), chicken lo mein. Generous portions for all dishes. I am sure this place is great for to go also because they must have had 25 to go orders in the 45 minutes we were there to eat.

It was coated with flour like fried chicken instead of corn starch which it should be Couldn't taste the black bean sauce although the sauce was strong Sweet and sour soup was full of good items but so much pepper it made me cough Soups are in tiny cups they call small bowls White rice is good and sticky Shrimp with lobster sauce is nothing like it should be, mostly corn and tasteless, I mean tasteless like water Not the usual recipe others serve. The beef rice noodles were like I would make from a reg pan at home without, again, taste. They need that wok taste but it's not there So disappointed, not cheap either , easily $18 a plate Place was clean and looked decent but what good is that if the food is lousy?

We noticed the decor had changed (yes, I said it had been many years) and it was quite nice! We were seated promptly and placed our drink order (tea came with lunch). We ordered Rangoon as a starter. The lunch specials came with soup and egg roll, and fried rice. DH ordered his litmus test dish for American style Chinese- General Tso chicken. The portion was generous. The sauce was tasty. The chicken pieces tasted like your average frozen nuggets tossed in sauce. It's that familiar "seasoning" to the chicken and coating- iykyk. Not bad at all, just not the best. He enjoyed his egg drop soup. I opted for Hunan Beef. The sauce was thicker than I prefer, with an almost gelatinous consistency. The hot and sour soup was nice, a little more sour than hot. We both thought the fried rice that came with lunch was a little bland. Maybe the entree version is better? Each special was under $10, and it's definitely a great value.
